Thank you for this information! you are the good type TH-camr really helpful 🙏 maybe you can help brother.. I have a bmw E30 but I have swapped the engine to a Nissan SR20 DET and I need to feed a signal to my tachometer do you know from where I can get my signal connection? Is it from the coil signal wire or the injector pulse wire? I have no idea how to get a signal.. maybe both coil to pin 7 and injection pulse to pin 11? Please advise 🙏
Thanks, but which component of the car sends the frequency? Tacho is working with this video test, I need to know the origin of the problem. Nice video.
Sorry Tables and Tubes, but we've found that our clients are into cars and watches in addition to vintage HiFi. We've already had a vintage BMW traded-in towards a complete system with more to come. We'll be featuring both more, but maybe we'll break them out into separate channels as we gain a larger audience.
Thanks for the video! From it I found the electrical troubleshooting manual for my 88 M3: shark.armchair.mb.ca/~dave/BMW/e30/e30m3_88.pdf BIG HELP! My tach is intermittent but mostly wildly jumping all around with no particular pattern. BTW I owned and ran a high-end audio store for 30 years; retired now.

Tachometer, not speedometer.

Sorry guys, but I work on cars all day long. The last thing I want to see in my feed is anything automotive related. Stick to audio please.
