Back in pubs I once got put into a Coldfront game where I decided to be a scunt for the day. Quote-binds and all. Immediately an enemy scunt started using his own binds after every kill. Then there was another one on their team... and another one... and then another one on my team! Usually, everyone goes tryhard to be the biggest alpha scunt in the server but for some reason this time there was the silent but obvious decision we would all leave each other alone while we harassed each others team. After a while the chat was nothing but scout quotes and angry team members from both sides. It was a great day that I will remember forever.
Make this into a new stereotype like video, once every month, becomes torture after 13 videos of this, takes a long time but you have to cut it short else everyone will call you dead. This is what we need.

The funny thing about the soda popper being way better than the force-a-nature is that it’s canonically a modified FaN( on another note, out of soundsmith’s ten most viewed videos, this is the only one that isn’t a stereotypes episode, and it also happens to be 10th place)
My favorite thing about the force a nature is that the first shot typically leads to an easy second shot, even if that means less damage. They fly in a straight line away from you, which naturally requires very little adjustment in aim. And if you couple that with running forward, you may actually run the same speed with the enemy, leading to a second shot that's near them. A solid 100+70 damage.
The usual stereotype for Sniper is typically an absolute edgelord, even though he's Australian (even if he's actually from New Zealand, he was raised in Australia), and the natural stereotype for Australians is basically Florida man but not in the US of A.
One time I was playing on ctf_sawmill and there was this one scout with an aussie FaN. It was named "your dad" and it's description was "hits you twice then runs away".

@@milx7210 too bad bearded got nerfed in the lastest patch he went from the top of b tier to C ever since the nerf to his aerials and air speed. he drops like a rock during special fall and his up b can barley recover. to compensate, they have to buff his speed to sightly slower than hoovy instead of being the slowest in tha game. after all, tryhard heavy should be slower than bearded since gloves are urgently running can buff tryhard heavy's speed but bearded has no luxurys and hoovy's passive, fat scout gives him a speed bonus when using the family business. this is why bearded should be faster than tryhard heavy but still slower than hoovy, as this would bring him to mid B tier and he would have a much better ledge-game (i spent way too long making this stuff up)

I like to use the FAN against pyros. Blast them out of their effective range then finish them off with your pistol Also its really good in close quarters because the knock back knocks them into the wall making it extremely easy to line up another shot
This right here. At its heart, the force-a-nature is a close-quarters shotgun, as one should expect a shotgun to be. If you can aim properly, you should be able to kill a non-ubered/buffed enemy at close quarters with the FAN, and if not then you can usually finish them off with a pistol or melee.
I want to... thank you Soundsmith. If it wasn't for this video, I would have never played TF2. I simply thought that the force a nature looked cool, and well, installed the game. Now, I have almost 1000 hours, got my first stranges a few days ago, am level 76, and have just about every unlock. Ive enjoyed every second of the game, and at one point, used to get mad that I died. One day, something just, clicked. I didn't improve like that, but it spiked for me, I started improving rapidly, having more fun, rarely getting mad. Sure the game's in the shits right now, but its still fun as hell. I know this comment is quite long, but I just wanted to say thanks, you introduced me to the game I love.
Any Outdoorsman will tell you the most frustrating part of hunting is when a deer simply *falls down* when shot, and doesn't *fly backwards* into the forest. Those days are over. Anything this baby hits better pack a lunch.. ('cause it's going for a ride). If you happen to be airborne when firing (for example, leaping from a car after spotting a buck) you'll be *propelled* into the sky, where you can hunt birds!

As a FaN Scout main that owns an Aussie FaN with almost 12k kills almost all of the Non-Meme things about this video are true if you use it with literally any non-Stock Pistol secondary. With the Pistol however you can kill a Heavy in less than 2 seconds and chase almost as well as the Stock with all the mobility of the FaN intanct if used with the Stock Pistol, doing the high-jump when being chased by a Soldier can basically negate the splash on the ground forcing them to actually aim at you and give you an advantage by being able to get the highground without a ledge to stand on. Not gonna bother explaining all of the other reasons why the FaN is underrated as hell by the community, but those are a few. FaN is better for independant Scouts that like to move around the map and get a few quick kills then get outta there, Stock is better for larger-scaled teamfights with 2-3 or more enemies to kill at once. Neither is better than the other if Mastered, but most people are biased towards Stock so ima get a shitton of hate on this comment if anybody even sees it.
Nah I completely agree, however stock is a little above the FaN because of it's fairness. Fighting against the FaN is annoying as hell, there's a reason why people hate on it.
I agree that Stock is slighty overall better, i just prefer the FaN's playstyle which is why i use it over Stock. Yeah i know it's annoying at times but most people respect the ''Good'' FaN Scouts because it's underrated and using a sidegrade to be just as effective as Stock.
I stopped feeling bad when the tryhards that die to it get salty as hell, but i do respect people's opinions about it being ''Annoying''. What i CAN'T stand however are the people that just say you should uninstall for not using the exact same loadout as every 6's Scout/Just straight up call you shit even though you're stomping them. Counter argument to people that say it takes absolutely no skill to use look at Stock, if you miss a shot don't worry, you have 5 more. If a FaN misses a single shot however, you can't kill ANY class in the game without having to reload/pull out your Pistol while the Stock Scout can keep firing and kill several people.
Yeah I think the FaN and scattergun take the same amount of skill, but the FaN is less respected if that makes sense. I'll always like the FaN more just because of the diversity it gives the scout, even if getting the high ground for free is unfair.

Ok, so I know no one will see this on an old video, but can we talk about how in the smash edit section, heavy gets such subclasses as hoovy and fat scout, but bearded expense is its own subclass. This is because bearded expense heavies break the laws of physics.
I recently bought a nice Force A Nature, because after many hours of playing the game, I found out this weapon (and Scout in general!) is actually fun :D

Okay I think you are my favorite TH-camr because I just got into TF2 and before (and still) am a huge ssbm fan, so this is like perfect
I like to use the FAN against pyros. Blast them out of their effective range then finish them off with your pistol
Also its really good in close quarters because the knock back knocks them into the wall making it extremely easy to line up another shot
This right here. At its heart, the force-a-nature is a close-quarters shotgun, as one should expect a shotgun to be. If you can aim properly, you should be able to kill a non-ubered/buffed enemy at close quarters with the FAN, and if not then you can usually finish them off with a pistol or melee.

I want to... thank you Soundsmith. If it wasn't for this video, I would have never played TF2. I simply thought that the force a nature looked cool, and well, installed the game.
Now, I have almost 1000 hours, got my first stranges a few days ago, am level 76, and have just about every unlock. Ive enjoyed every second of the game, and at one point, used to get mad that I died. One day, something just, clicked. I didn't improve like that, but it spiked for me, I started improving rapidly, having more fun, rarely getting mad.
Sure the game's in the shits right now, but its still fun as hell.
I know this comment is quite long, but I just wanted to say thanks, you introduced me to the game I love.

As a FaN Scout main that owns an Aussie FaN with almost 12k kills almost all of the Non-Meme things about this video are true if you use it with literally any non-Stock Pistol secondary. With the Pistol however you can kill a Heavy in less than 2 seconds and chase almost as well as the Stock with all the mobility of the FaN intanct if used with the Stock Pistol, doing the high-jump when being chased by a Soldier can basically negate the splash on the ground forcing them to actually aim at you and give you an advantage by being able to get the highground without a ledge to stand on. Not gonna bother explaining all of the other reasons why the FaN is underrated as hell by the community, but those are a few.
FaN is better for independant Scouts that like to move around the map and get a few quick kills then get outta there, Stock is better for larger-scaled teamfights with 2-3 or more enemies to kill at once.
Neither is better than the other if Mastered, but most people are biased towards Stock so ima get a shitton of hate on this comment if anybody even sees it.
Nah I completely agree, however stock is a little above the FaN because of it's fairness. Fighting against the FaN is annoying as hell, there's a reason why people hate on it.
I agree that Stock is slighty overall better, i just prefer the FaN's playstyle which is why i use it over Stock. Yeah i know it's annoying at times but most people respect the ''Good'' FaN Scouts because it's underrated and using a sidegrade to be just as effective as Stock.
Didn't really think of it that way. I use it for that reason too but I can't help but always feel bad for using it.
I stopped feeling bad when the tryhards that die to it get salty as hell, but i do respect people's opinions about it being ''Annoying''. What i CAN'T stand however are the people that just say you should uninstall for not using the exact same loadout as every 6's Scout/Just straight up call you shit even though you're stomping them. Counter argument to people that say it takes absolutely no skill to use look at Stock, if you miss a shot don't worry, you have 5 more. If a FaN misses a single shot however, you can't kill ANY class in the game without having to reload/pull out your Pistol while the Stock Scout can keep firing and kill several people.
Yeah I think the FaN and scattergun take the same amount of skill, but the FaN is less respected if that makes sense. I'll always like the FaN more just because of the diversity it gives the scout, even if getting the high ground for free is unfair.
