Ever since the public seller program shut down the prices have been a bit inflated because of the lack of fair competition. Funny thing I noticed in one of Swipez videos where he plays with other tf2 content creators is that in almost every clip Lazy plays medic, so he is possibly gathering clips for the medic video

Listening to the audio of the Backburner compared to the stock Flamethrower, the Backburner actually sounds more like a roar, fitting the dragon ornament in more than just visuals.

Ive been having a lot of fun using the baby face blaster, especially on player destruction since the BFB excels at 1v1 fights, and the moment shahanshasmith makes a video about it, the weapon will no longer be surprising and "underrated".

I don’t know if anyone else noticed this, but at 19:26 we can see a yellow poster on the wall stating: “Do not operate the procedural television time manipulation device without proper clearance”. While indeed a possible nod to the obscure TF2 achievement of tuning Marasmus’s inter-dimensional television; I further suggest that the MANN series is an ARG in which both Clockwork Smurf and Soundsmith are stuck in an procedural limbo. Doomed forever to source funding for a never ending show that discusses weapons from the popular FPS game Team Fortress Two.

Mann's Guide to the Huntsman shows us it's the latter.
The fact that the opening animation actually made sure to include Sniper nocking the arrow (that sharp jerk when he still had the bow down) before drawing it back, when every other piece of media would have just had him draw it back from the start is amazing attention to detail.
And it happens to line up with Muldoon putting down the end of the stock. It's wonderful!

not only was the reveal of this being the backburner instead of the huntsman awesome, but i'm gonna give so many props to the animation at 9:06-10:08. the movements are so lifelike and it really brings the characters to life even more.
edit: Nevermind, just finished watching, and I can confirm the SFM bits throughout the entire video are golden. So good

This episode of Mann's Guide has to be my favorite episode so far, no questions asked. It's incredibly informational, had me laughing like a hyena, and the SFM animations! I can't fathom how to describe how clean they are, they are too polished for me to even think of eating off of them!
I definitely respect how long it takes for these episodes to come out. I love myself some good polish, good writing, and good... good, I like things that are good.

Since he didn't mention it, the actual best melee with this loadout is the Powerjack. The increased run speed obviously supports the Backburner's movement-centric playstyle but also it's another great mindgame tool because nobody expects you to try meleeing with a weapon that makes you take extra damage. And the health on kill suits flanking since you likely won't have a Medic on hand.

Bro if you really want to fuck with people by using a weapon that makes no sense whip out the volcano fragment. It sure as hell makes you less predictable. Also it isn't the powerjack which is just so damn boring at this point.
Wrong, it's the Back Scratcher (a pairing I affectionately term the Back'n'Back) because not only do you turn health packs into super health packs (sure is nice to get to nearly full HP from just 1 medium pack) but also you do extra damage with it, meaning a random crit oneshots literally any (non-overhealed) class in the game shy of a Heavy - who now has only 50 HP. Even if you don't crit you're still hitting for 80-odd damage, which is a petty hefty chunk. The only downside is Mediguns and Dispensers are basically worthless to you, but since you're usually on your own on the flank (i.e behind enemy lines) neither tend to be all that prevalent and if the Medic has a Crossbow it circumvents your healing reduction anyway.

You have outDONE yourself man! All the gmod or SFM bit are really good, and this video is just generally really well animated (I genuinely didn't expect the backburner switch-up either which was a pleasant surprise.)
The Audio cutting out gave me a heart attack, my Left IEM broke on me in a very similar manner as the audio cut out at 19:13, and my mind went "NOT THE OTHER ONE"
