for avoiding landing on undesignated area, worth checking the ATC transmission, many times I would get something like mission saying I need to land on RW32, blue guides and gps set on RW 32 but somehow ATC keeps saying I am clear to land on RW14... Really annoying bug. To fix it, when I do catch it, I go into manual ATC coms, from the speech bubble active menu, select airport I want to land, and there's an option there of "select runway for landing" - I select my RW32, ATC confirms always - never had issues, then, I proceed announce position, and final - I never do the pattern either, just a direct straight line to final. Doing so also sometimes gives me a 125% bonus on the Airline Procedures part of some missions (cargo I believe).
Nope, he landed on the correct runway. The blue squares told us that he was on the correct runway. What happened to him is that he floated beyond the landing threshold. You have to touch down within the landing threshold/zone.
Well, not exactly. Blue squares were leading to the pattern. If you stop the video at certain point you can see the mission is to “Land on runway 19”, whereas his instruments were pointing on the north direction.
Thanks for the autopilot, I saw many long videos about and got lost with many buttons and actions, I follow your example searching landing airport like in your video, input ALT, FD and AP and no more fight with my Thrusmaster T16000M. But my landings are a mess. 07
The reason why you got a penalty for wrong runway at 6:19 is because you landed on the wrong runway! It said RWY 19 which is southern, you landed in the opposite direction!
While that is correct, the entire flight plan was already generated with the blue markers following that flight plan. So there is a clear bug then where the in-game waypoints and the actual flight plan do not match.
What is the maximum sim rate? 4x? 8x? 16x? And I want to know how to return to 1x speed with a single keystroke, regardless of how many times the current sim rate is.
4 levels both directions 1 hour flight can be 30-15-7.5-3.75 minutes It doesn’t tell you what rate you are at but if you go all the way up or down then hit it 4 times you’ll be back to normal. If you’re worried about the plane shaking at the max speed it’s mostly turbulence and I just go into 3rd and it lessens the effect. Hope this helps
Time acceleration can destroy your aircraft! If it's very slightly bumpy, at 2x time it literally shakes the aircraft apart. A $90k mission cost $170k in repairs!!! Happened to me, happened to Squirrel on his live stream. DON'T TIME ACCELERATE IS IT'S EVEN SLIGHTY BUMPY. Fair warning
A tip for taxing I use is At sea level RPM to 12/13,000 for a sec or two then put it to about 800RPM in the 172 Throttle up and down as needed 2X sim rate makes it very easy
About the penalty. You (your radio) declared "4B0 Traffic RED JAT2510 is on final, runaway 19, to land" (5:53). While your heading is 011 (hence RWY 01). Maybe the issue was this? Landing on a different RWY than you declared?
Yeah I gave up on the career mode. Broken ATC, sometimes just doesn't sound out the calls and you get dinged for "missing ATC transmission", but the time you notice Passenger and agent voices and phrases are turbo-cringe, feels like they've been written by chatgpt, but then there are like 4 or 5 variations of what VIPs say - "Yeah captain I know we're going to cruise and FL250, but could you make sure my iPhone works?" "Airport overflown without announcement" - just fuck this, I was miles away Missions make zero sense, who in the world charters a cargo C172 to make a half an hour trip over Europe? You know that we have roads over here, right? Even then, the claim millions of procedurally generated missions, but somehow they keep sending me into the same Swiss airport over and over again. Fuel is broken Spawn points are broken Economy makes no sense, insurance system is broken Certifications are a joke Half the aircraft are not available No ability to filter mission table of any kind, have to mouseover everything Cryptic "airline procedures" I could go on. But in the end, why would I play career mode if I can just come up with a better missions by myself to fly in free play using BeyondATC or VATSIM and whatever plane I choose? It had so much potential, like having a proper progression and even a basic storyline even, but instead we got poorly made procedurally generated slop. I'd rather have 100 handmade missions than this random mess. Feels like zero effort had been made. Essentially the game is way better when it's stripped to the core flight sim experience without any other features enabled, just simming the plane and the world.
@weystrom Normally when you think ATC has stopped functioning, what has really happened is that ATC stops auto-tuning your radios. You can just manually tune the radio, and you are back in communication with ATC.
I’m trying with it, but if I have the mission send a C172 into icing conditions or a TBM930 do a zero-visibility landing at an airport with no ILS or RNAV procedures, I’m going back to FS Economy. Very much like Career Mode, except it actually works.
Thanks..... I am going OT. I guess you have a "supercomputer" to run the 2024. How much hardware do you think is needed to run it smoothly? Is it worse or better, talking about HW resources, than 2020?
Thank you for the video explained well , I subbed Still can not land sit though Maybe I'm terrified game kicked me out just before landing wasted while 45 minutes
Are the career payouts messed up? They are paying the same for employee and freelance on light cargo. No way to make money, because it would cost more to fly. Hell 4,000 for a 1 hour flight and the insurance is 6,000 per hour.
I haven't been playing for too long but long enough to unlock 5 different specializations, yet, the only missions popping up are first flight missions. Any idea how to do missions for other specializations I have unlocked?
I'll give it another month since half my flight controls don't work, multiple monitors not recognized and you have to rebind all controls. This has been a huge disappointment so far but I'm sure it will eventually get better.
Ah see when he said sim skip he was talking about still flying but making time go faster. I did not know you could do that. That will help the grind be much faster for me haha
All the missions I have started already have a flight plan generated in the EFB and usually this is in the G1000 before you get going. If it isn’t you can press “Send to Avionics” on the EFB. Especially if it is an IFR flight. I have never needed to type in the destination airport. Can always modify the flight plan as needed.
Best tip is to not play this game. Unless you want to grind endlessly just to have the game strip everything away to game break glitches. They are honestly going to ruin it for everyone. Brands should pull their airplanes from the game is detrimental to the image the way they portray the product

Thanks! !! !!!
The game complained about landing because of wrong direction, you probably had clearance for 19, landed on 1.

He probably messed with approach procedures mid flight, but these changes were not filed properly to ATC
@@ruslanusmanov3514 5:41 so you can see for yourself
@@ruslanusmanov3514 yep .. I see that he was penalized for landing on the wrong runway.
Wow, the ability to pay money to unlock new areas is a game-changer! Thank you!

Try to not touchdown unless you're at 60 knots or less. it will make a very soft landing. I was a mess myself but this helps a lot.
@@MarkDavidBlack Easy to say, but at 60 knots the plane stalls

Im kind of new to flight sim, how can you find out which number to the airport, like you were going to 4B0?
I’ll need to rewatch this vid 50 times to understand the autopilot and perfect landing…
This kind of challenge is secondary, the biggest challenge is to clean up the mess the sim has
Thank you! Do you know how to get a high score for the stupid areal advertising missions?
Hi. Is there any tutorial In game to learn how to use autopilot?
I'm at level 29 with lots of certifications passed and still cannot start a company.... This game is so bugged
Your flight plan was RWY 19 and you landed on RWY 1... that is not a game problem or error, that is you landing on the wrong runway.

Click on the gold missions around the world map they unlock those missions and there kind of considered a tutorial for the mission type
How did you know the airport is 4B0 ?

Fast travel wont bring your oen plane with you though will it ..
I imagine it will then cost insane amounts to transfer your aircraft.
Damn thing takes so long. I just wanna do airliner pilot missions already. So sick of GA! Lol
Little bugs!? NoOoO... earlier I was sitting still and put my flaps in for takeoff and it yelled at me for excessive speed for flaps... ummm ok?
How did he know the destination was 4B0??
Best tip I have for this game is to wait a year lmao
When I skip time in missions it seems like my payout is half or even a third of the total. Is this normal?
Yes? Ur skipping most of the mission💀
I think it’s based on distance flown so skipping the cruise portion on long flights will take a majority of your pay
Ah see when he said sim skip he was talking about still flying but making time go faster. I did not know you could do that. That will help the grind be much faster for me haha
Yes, I think you can safely skip taxiing and parking, but skipping flight time will dock you severely.

45 mins sounds like a "really, really long flight"?
don't gatekeep, we all started there. Not everyone is flying WSSS-KJFK in real time
some of us don’t have the time to spend 45 minutes flying
sorry I'm employed?
Sim Rate…
Lol flaps. I remember those
First tip, turn your hat around!
Thanks. I fixed the issues with the sim. Apperently the sim planes from 2020 coildent find the filder to go in, so you have to create one.
Could yiu make a video about the electric-prop hybrid plane? Would be cool!!
