@PurelyBeans Ifrit is very good, her DPS is very high and her linear range does not stop her from being useful as she can just hit 1 tile and still help, the more tiles the better. Also, if you saw, my guides has a series number, it means it will have another series talking about other casters.
PurelyBeans I hope that’s sarcasm and not a serious comment. Because Ifrit is insanely good. Finding her a good position is difficult sometimes but once you do she does wonders.
@Dreamy Your info on Amiya skill 2 is incorrect in this video. She does magic damage, so she is not weakened by having a multi-hit skill, because resistance is a percentage reduction, not flat reduction. Also, she does not synergize with Sora particularly well because of skill 2 because being she does not increase damage per hit, she just increases your base attack. Defense debuffs (like Meteorite skill 2) are skills that synergize with high hit counts, because defense is a flat reduction per hit for physical damage. Sora is good with characters that have low base attack, not necessarily multi-hits. But single target casters and snipers have low base attack, so she's good with Amiya anyway. Normally the information in your videos is quite good, so I was surprised you had this inaccuracy.
I really appreciate this format you use, unlike the recent trend of youtubers with their 2 minute intros 2 minute outros 5 minutes of crap and 10 seconds of information; in all likelihood, trying to fluff their viewer hours with their verbal vomit. Since yours have the information written at the bottom, I can go at my own pace and the relevant clips are shown after. Furthermore, the editing is great, the video is sensibly ordered, and you even have timestamps! Outside of my personal interests, I don't really follow anything, much less on youtube, but you've earned this one!
I really really REALLY feel you on that one where other youtubers just blabber for straight 15mins but just delivers 1 or 2 point across. It's almost as if it's just made for monetization. And yes, timestamps are there for the viewers convenience, I know other youtubers want to take advantage of the viewing duration but that's just not me. My main objective is to deliver objective information straight to the point.

Very useful video, havent paid much attention to casters since we get Amiya for free and both Ifrit and Eyja arent in the newbie banner but seems like an aoe caster is a very important unit to chase.
Even her Mod 2 alone is sufficient. BUT to be fair, it was introduced VERY LATE into the game, hence why she was initially put aside by many (not me) commanders at the start.

Its like how in FGO Mashu was pretty bad for the majority of early game content until she got her in game story buffs, then she became one of the best defensive supports. Basically... its common for protag characters to be bad for a long time in game until story makes them good.

It has been a common agreement within CN players that Skyfire is meh. She was really good early game though. The only remaining players who say Skyfire is good is the ones that didn't really last long playing on the CN servers. I didn't want to talk about Mostima due to possible spoilers. I try my best to cater only to incoming GL players.
Just a correction. The games attack-def formula doesn't apply to Amiya. She is spell damage so it's calculated as a percent reduction. As a result, she gets no negatives from having her S2 split up into 7/8 shots.

Ifrit is top tier. One of the best AOE casters despite her linear AOE. She really just needs to manage to hit 1 cell in front of a defender to be super effective but the more cells the better.
Eyja has short-duration S3 but she has high atk speed during that time and also a huge range ultimate and can atk front and back while SilverAsh maybe has long duration skill but he needs to beware of squishy enemies because his defend becomes -70% during Silver slash, sometimes my SilverAsh die during that skill duration when being hit by a high damage operator. that what makes this game balance
I strongly recommend the 3* caster Steward. First, he is really powerful. His talent "attack the enemy with the highest defense" is so strong, it prevents him from wasting time on those low defense enemies. His talent is definitely the strongest talent for a caster since caster class is designed to clear the high defense enemies which cannot be easily hunt down by most of the snipers and guards. Second, in his E1 he unlock his base skill that can speed up 25% for all kinds of producing. So for those players who don't have Ejyafjalla, Steward is definitely a great choice. He doesn't cost you too much money or materials to leveled him up, even when you got Eyjafjalla and don't need him to fight anymore, he can still work in your base.
And I also want to mention 12F. He is a 2* aoe caster, which means he's REALLY LOW COST and really easy to level up. he can be used from 0-2 chapter, and CE-5. And since his talent is 50% to miss the physical attacks he can be the last one to placed to attract physic enemies (such as Faust in 5-10) (Actually not many CN players use Lava since she is not really strong or low cost. And she got such a long action between aiming and firing which is so annoying)
@@_uryan9987 I think you meant some CN players do not use Lava because I know alot of people who uses Lava. Also, she does the job and that's what matters even if her attack animation looks annoying. Her high initial SP is also pretty nice because at max, she can immediately use her buff only after 2 basic attacks. This means she can be an immediate source of AOE burst when needed and doesn't have to be stationary. I understand that you see other operators useful but that doesn't automatically mean that the other options are bad. That's the beauty of Arknights.

the main role i am trying to fill rn is aoe caster. amiya being a single target caster simply doesnt cut it for me, though i still keep her bc she is protagonist.
Her S2 can almost be considered as strong AOE, just that the downtime and cooldown is annoying but if you deploy her in perfect timing so she will use it when needed, it's actually pretty good.

Well i use both skyfire and gitano at the same time(when i habve not much need for a double defender).. Skyfire coz of her VA being Tohsaka Rin's.. Also, she looks cool af

I also dont think i would need Hibiscus with those 2 medics present Also, should i start focusing on Angelina and Pramanix? I prepared the skills of Shaw and Rope to be level 4 too.. You need to reroll on regular banner with no rate up. But if you really want her, do reroll for her, cuz she won't be on rate up for a good while (at least in CN).
I dont know if it was really worth it... but after 250+ (I stopped counting) rerolls... I managed to reroll Eyja and Silverash. At that moment I felt like all the suffering I went through was not for nothing. Although I have no good 5 stars except Skyfire... also no defenders except the starters... at least Cuora was in certifcate shop this week...
One quick question... i always use amiya at almost all stages... so for effectiveness should i really use S2 or S1? I already M1 her S1 bcs its spammable while S2 needs more sp... which has the highest dps count?
@@LisaraScarlet so since normaly it takes 100 seconds cooldown, now on E2 which adds 2 sp per hit making it needs 50 hit (1 hit equals 1.6 seconds, and not counting kill who also means 4 hit) to reactive the skills which mean it takes 80 seconds? Edit: with her last potent making it 52.8 seconds and not counting kills which will be 3 hits

At first, i thought Amiya was a donkey but i remember somewhere in the beginning of the game it mentions Amiya is a rabbit and there is a rabbit plush you can obtain. So I'm still unsure what Amiya actually is despite what everyone says.

Amiya is a single target caster which can be useful, she can't be compared to AOE casters. Skyfire Gitano is fine as your AOE casters but note that they are more expensive to build than Lava.

I might consider making a solo guide for her, for now, try to use S1 for majority of content while S2 if you can really utilize it properly by timing her deployment.

She's kinda like Amiya. The difference is that Amiya's S1 uptime is pretty insane due to her talent but Haze DPS is really high when buff is activated. Super squishy though.
Amiya is very confusing because her stated race plants her very much as a bun (Cautus/Chimera, cautus is explicitly bun and also includes, for instance, Kok- I mean Kroos), but her ears are very donkey-like. But she is definitively a bun, so *stop confusing people you jerks.*

um...I know it's probably a joke but gran/djeeta are unironically the best unit you can have due to their flexibility as various classes. the reason it's not very apparent is due to the fact you are forced to bring them in any team, but otherwise they're your best bet to fill any role you need for your team

the main role i am trying to fill rn is aoe caster. amiya being a single target caster simply doesnt cut it for me, though i still keep her bc she is protagonist.
Her S2 can almost be considered as strong AOE, just that the downtime and cooldown is annoying but if you deploy her in perfect timing so she will use it when needed, it's actually pretty good.
Which Gitano buff is the best in what situation? When is the HP buff useful, and which one is usually better out of ATK and ASPD?

Well i use both skyfire and gitano at the same time(when i habve not much need for a double defender).. Skyfire coz of her VA being Tohsaka Rin's.. Also, she looks cool af

At the moment, Im using Saria, Liskarm, Silver Ash, Vigna, Zima, Gitano, Skyfire, Melantha, Kroos, Amiya, Silence and Ptilopsis.. Tho i interchange one of em with Jessica in case of need of anti air.. Thoughts about this? I also dont think i would need Hibiscus with those 2 medics present

You need to reroll on regular banner with no rate up. But if you really want her, do reroll for her, cuz she won't be on rate up for a good while (at least in CN).

I dont know if it was really worth it... but after 250+ (I stopped counting) rerolls... I managed to reroll Eyja and Silverash. At that moment I felt like all the suffering I went through was not for nothing. Although I have no good 5 stars except Skyfire... also no defenders except the starters... at least Cuora was in certifcate shop this week...

One quick question... i always use amiya at almost all stages... so for effectiveness should i really use S2 or S1? I already M1 her S1 bcs its spammable while S2 needs more sp... which has the highest dps count?
If the timing doesn't matter, S2 is much more powerful.
@@LisaraScarlet so since normaly it takes 100 seconds cooldown, now on E2 which adds 2 sp per hit making it needs 50 hit (1 hit equals 1.6 seconds, and not counting kill who also means 4 hit) to reactive the skills which mean it takes 80 seconds?
Edit: with her last potent making it 52.8 seconds and not counting kills which will be 3 hits

Edit: fully dps count when s2 is active at m1 (per 8 hit) is 4560 idk the time gap between 8 hit and another 8 hit how much so i just say that those 25 seconds will only do 16 (8) hit and it equal as 72960 dmg... im not sure bout this bcs thats too much unlike your other OP dps skill calculations.

I'm kinda stuck on Chapter 2. I cannot seem to farm chips, so I need to improve lineup. My casters are Amiya, Skyfire, Gitano, Lava. Help me pick two please!
Amiya is a single target caster which can be useful, she can't be compared to AOE casters. Skyfire Gitano is fine as your AOE casters but note that they are more expensive to build than Lava.
Why's Gitano better than Lava? With max potential lava should I still replace her?

I might consider making a solo guide for her, for now, try to use S1 for majority of content while S2 if you can really utilize it properly by timing her deployment.

She's kinda like Amiya. The difference is that Amiya's S1 uptime is pretty insane due to her talent but Haze DPS is really high when buff is activated. Super squishy though.

Amiya is very confusing because her stated race plants her very much as a bun (Cautus/Chimera, cautus is explicitly bun and also includes, for instance, Kok- I mean Kroos), but her ears are very donkey-like.

um...I know it's probably a joke but gran/djeeta are unironically the best unit you can have due to their flexibility as various classes. the reason it's not very apparent is due to the fact you are forced to bring them in any team, but otherwise they're your best bet to fill any role you need for your team
