Man, I was hoping that was my problem. I’m having the same exact issue except my fitting is perfectly connected… It did not come apart. Now I am stuck again… And it is hot now!!!!
I bought a 2005 Chevy Express Conversion van with rear HVAC. The only control I can find is a rear heater fan speed control on the dash in that blank plate under the towing mode button. When I turn it on the air blows out of the rear ducts but it is not warm. It looks like there are AC and heater lines going into the rear blower. I have had to bypass the AC lines to the rear to only run the front AC because of expensive corroded lines. Is there a coolant shut off valve that allows coolant to go to the rear blower or is the fan only recirculating heat from the dash? The manual makes it sound like that is the case but why the rear heat lines? Thanks!

Does anyone know where the cabin air filter is for this vehicle?
Looked up some forums after researching today. This van does not have a cabin air filter but a mesh material to stop debri from being sucked
Thank You, Took me less than 10 min. to fix mine. it was the vacuum line.
