Ok i have to say be very careful using that hard plastic tubing. It is not rated for the amount of heat that will be present in the engine compartment.
Anything over about 100 degrees will cause that tubing to become soft and then it will collapse from the vacuum. That engine compartment can get well over 220 degrees and some parts closer to the exhaust manifolds can get well over 500.
Just go to your local auto parts store and you can buy rubber vacuum hose to replace the old ones that are designed to survive in those temperatures

They need to make a better route for the hoses to go through as the factory hoses always crumble. Way better than that refrigerator hose op is using though.

@@dricolee5297 nope ended up being sensor that’s plugged into the side of the, condenser? , I wanted to do a video bc it took me all night taking the doghouse out to replace that hose , in fairness it was dry rotted and collapsed, when in Rome eh? Jumped the sensor to get me by it was 90s plus degrees and had enough

Im having a issue where the air stops coming out randomly but than starts again? I replaced blower motor and its still doing it. Heater blows constantly just fine but the A.C stops randomly and you can hear the blower still running i dont understand and its not being diverted. Any ideas??

Same exact prob I’m having w my express. The compressor no longer kicks on or gets cold either now , could it still be hose issue?

No probably low on refrigerant or bad pressure switch. Gently tap on pressure switch and if compressor kicks on that's your problem. Could be many other issues too but the pressure switch is the easiest to diagnose.

@@imjcarp jump the pressure switch , that how I found mine was bad easy fix

Thanks for making this video, this is the exact problem I have. Where does the small/skinnier hose go to? I have a broken small hose and I’m not sure where it goes to behind the firewall.

One goes into the engine as he shows, the other goes into a plastic black sphere in front of the battery
