Thank you for this video. Too many other channels are pushing HDZERO for bad reasons. I followed some bad advice and bought a lot of HDZERO gear only to discover I had been flat out lied to about the quality of the system. I've since sold all my HDZERO gear and went to DJI and are much happier now.

I've flown Sky O4X and the HDZero VRX for racing and fun for a couple of years. I'm old and slow so figured the latency would not be important to me. Just upgraded to the HDZero goggles. The price is very high but there is no doubt the lower latency really helps me with racing and proximity flying. As far a comfort and optics I actually find the HDZero goggles just slightly worse than the O4X for me personally. Because I race, I think the HDZero goggles have been worth the upgrade but I totally understand most people not being convinced. I still have the O4X goggles because the module bay and an analogue module for HDZero is also expensive.

My complaint has always been the price, HDzero is barely worth it over analog, unless your a hardcore racer, which is far and few. If you're not placing top 3 in races, just fly analog. If you want HD systems, fly DJI or walksnail. DJI is going to take over the race scene if hdzero doesn't drop their goggles to half the price, which is actually what they're worth 😂😂 DJI will sponsor racers, sponser races, give away free products, and more than hdzero does. HDzero won't be the top race goggle for long. And if you mention the channel issue, than DJI will use their superior R and D department to fix that when necessary, just saying all, hdzero's days are numbered...

I'm not being mean here, just asking. Do you fly faster and doing more impressive tricks in your personal time than you do in your reviews? As if you typically just fly like you do in your reviews I could see how you would get no benefit from them. I'm not great at flying but I noticed a huge difference on both HDZero and analog on the HDZero with them. The 90fps makes a difference I can feel it just switching modes on that camera. I haven't used the HDZero transporter 2 but I started on the analog transporter 2 and wow those things are horrible, yes they can get you started for cheap but damn was I missing out on a lot with them and the latency is pretty high compared to analog on HDZero goggles. I do 100% agree with you on the price. It's expensive but I do think if you fly HD and analog it's the only smart choice when it comes to high end goggles, which is the reason I bought them. Thanks for the review, Albert! 😊
But yeah, I absolutely agree with the latency issue... It depends a LOT from person to person.
Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
    BTW, no O4 yet. 😬

the latency should be the same in every goggle that sees hdzero ... +-1ms

The problem is the refresh rate of the screen(s) and if you are using an external receiver over HDMI... some goggles have shocking latency on their HDMI input.
