The way Yuri dies so suddenly always stood out too me, like Makarov just kills him so instantly. Usually a main character like Yuri would at least have some long dramatic fight before being killed like that

Makrov might be one of the strongest cod villians in history. He survived 2 shots in the back that went trough his chest. He survived a helicopter crash with no blood loss. Survived more than 20 russian swat soilders at the airport. And he survived being hung for like 3 seconds

Menendez...well, he actually had a fucked up backstory and literally still held love in his life, unlike those other two dipshits. At the end of it all, Menedez did one thing that neither of the those two could do: brought the US to its literal knees, and then spared them. That in my mind makes him a great villain; he could end the world if he wanted to, but chose not to because it didn't suit his interests. Him being a siscon also helped too lmao.
The first three MWs and the first two Black Ops are one of the greatest video games I've played. Their stories are just so compelling and you feel so much for the characters.
As someone who studied Russian, he doesn’t pronounce many Russian names or places correct but I still love slasher’s videos but I wish he would listen to the pronunciation of names and places. Also these games don’t pronounce Russian names right either.

Honestly, Makarov in my opinion is the third best character in any call of duty game. (Just Behind Price and Woods) He is so perfectly written, and the devs did such a good job of making you hate him. The No Russian mission is honestly such a good mission by design. You're forced to watch at least watch the attrocities, just to find out that it was all for not, and you realize just how evil he is. IMO, he's close to Thanos as one of the Best Villains of all times.

After the transaction is done he sticks his head outside the door and signals for his men to come in. The concierge then witnesses makarovs men following him with tons of duffel bags. The concierge mumbles to herself “I don’t get paid enough to really care what’s going on here” One of makarov’s boys is excited: “you got us the penthouse? I’m so excited mak-... I mean boss!” And there they stayed until one night two men in juggernaut suits arrived....
I don’t think that’s Krevchenko. I think that’s Lev. Lev was one of the guys in the Russian airport in the mission No Russian in MW2. Krevchenko would be like 80+ and I’m p sure these games don’t share universes. It might be a nod to Krevchenko but it’s more likely the guy from MW2.

There is a multiplayer or something like that mission i played in MW 3 where the guard who was shot by Makarov was actually alive n he finds Presidents daughter a.k.a the girl. Thats why only the president was at the mines of Siberia and there was no sign of the girl (Daughter of President).

My theory about the gas attack in London is because Makarov bought the chemical gas from general Barkov in Urzikstan. And then reproduce the similar chemical gas with his Frigata shipping company which is a front for his wmds and the chemical gas barrels. It makes sense that Barkov and his oligarch cronies were able to have mansions and the fact that Urzikstan isn’t the only place where they stolen the riches from those people.
No General barkov was from mw2019 and if realized that makarov was not mentioned in either 2019 only in mw2022 he was mentioned in the credits of the new mw2 2022

Modern warfare really is the perfect example for character building, both for heroes and villains. You laugh, fear and cry with the heroes and you really hate the villains and love to kill them. Modern warfare really is the perfect example for character building, both for heroes and villains. You laugh, fear and cry with the heroes and you really hate the villains and love to kill them. And it's not just a temporary thing. It still hurts to see ghost die, it still hurts to see soup fight with death and losing right in front of price...
