Now that I think about it. You could do that in Homeland Security. But you gotta get as much Sentry Guns on the roof as you can and defend Burger Town from there.
@@jeremytownsend6805 that's true. The fact you gotta set everything up DURING wave 1 is just stupid. At least give us something to take down the damn UAV.

People saying that this game really is realistic and not just "forced controversial" are wrong. Real warfare and warzones are much, much WORSE. It is far more brutal, horrifying, and overall life-shortening than whatever you see here or in most media. It just goes to show how sheltered, unaware, and priveledged many of us can be: which is fine, the world shouldn't be experiencing shit like that in the first place. Like that one line said in John Wick 2: "If anything, the stories were watered down."
Spec Ops the line was the only game that showed the horrors of war as I was the one committing genocide and warcrimes, thinking I did a good thing but no I made things for the worse all because I wanted to be a "hero".
Angry Ralsei I did but with buddies😂 it’s hard but it’s very possible. You’ve gotta communicate and use the right classes. Then you just run and gun. It sucked to do but damn was it rewarding. Even though I only got some operators for beating them it still felt great.
I almost wonder if what you were describing about the campaigns shock value almost making you “numb” to the controversial events that happen in the game was intentional, as maybe being a soldier seeing it over and over again you become numb after seeing devastating things, but who knows. The campaign was really good for sure, great vid!
A year late in saying this but I think that's exactly what it is and he just missed the point by a mile. That's what war is, either you get desensitized to it or you die from being unable to cope. Gonna say big L for act man on that take lol.
I mean personally I was numbed because some dialogue was so fucking funny I couldn't take most situations seriously, you play a waterboarding mini game ffs I couldn't take nothing seriously after that!
I'm not saying this as an excuse for MW's map design. I think IW made these map realistic because they thought that people would work with each other, and be like "I'll check this corner, you check this one", you know. They should've added maps that don't have this realistic design, and made maps like this but for a "tactical realism" mode, for example.
I love that if you pay close attention at the begining of the game when Alex gets ambushed after he grabs the gas you can notice that Hadir is actually their as he has his AUG with him which he'll have in any mission (Excluding flashbacks) he appears in You could also get his AUG in Multiplayer as a blueprint reward for coming first in a gunfight tournimate
heck..... try "red orchestra 1 : ostfront 41-45" . you spawned 2000 meters from the cap..... and were lucky if their was a jeep or halftrack you could use . i actually used to spend the WHOLE MATCH just driving a jeep/halftrack/opel blitz around...... giving people rides and it won games..... . if you have never looked at RO1 (or RO2 heroes of Stalingrad, or Rising storm 1 and RS2 : namn) you should RO1 is HARD CORE.... one 9mm from 500 meters away, and your dead. . but RO2/RS1 and namn are WAY WAY less hardcore yet, if you have only played games like COD and BF..... RO2 will feel like ARMA or a hardcore sim . anyway...... pay 5 bucks for RO1 then download the mod "darkest hour" (as RO1 is dead, all the players moved over to DH.... as it has base RO1 + lots of extra content and gamemodes) . and finally..... get on during friday to sunday...... around noon to 6pm (mountain time in the USA) . RO1/DH has a SMALL community..... but we are dedicated, and play every weekend you will find 0 players on wensday..... . but 2 or 3 full servers on the weekends (1 or 2 combined arms servers...... and 1 tanks only server)
Forgive me for not understanding but what does that mean? I know thats what it was called in the past MW games but i don't understand why thats important to bring up.
@Belkan05 oh yeah don't get me wrong infinity ward isn't perfect they definitely have their bad game games, sledgehammer can't make a single good game it seems, obviously my opinion but when a large portion of people think so too I think it means something.
I mean, 2 of the 6 in-game factions are mercenary-type groups, I think it’s more likely one of them got bored and painted his custom m4 pink with a bit of writing, rather than a magic glowing moving green and lava cameo in the USA military
Campaign is boring compared to original COD4. The missions are generally too short and there are too many you will never want to replay. Also the AI is just retarded - halo CE's AI is far superior and that's almost 20 years older.
I never yielded to camping, I might be camping when I know an enemy is close, but I usally have more off a balanced play style, sometimes I might rush with a shotgun, others I move around the map with a slow pace and stop by the wall and wait for the enemy if I know he is around, if not I continue, if I know where he is, I go get him

Every Spec Ops game ever: I haven't left this shack in 20 days. Every time I stand up or look through the window, 20 RPGs immediately hit my face. We've killed off most of the Middle East, but they just keep coming. Each of us has been downed no less than 500 times. Karen has lost her voice permanently from saying "plug into the network" 8000000 times. And the loading bar objective is 15% done.
Watching this now, and knowing what's happening in Ukraine, I have to completely disagree with your opinions about all the brutality and violence towards civilians. That's what war is. Always has been, and will always be. I think it shows some balls from the COD devs to actually go and show the stuff that will take place in modern conflicts.
yea but his point wasn't that the brutality and violence doesn't happen towards civilians but instead that within the game it was used as shock and awe rather than to add any real meaning and point. It ended up lessening the impact of each dead child and innocent. It was used as a selling point rather than a story point
@@theonelad3028 I get what you mean, the violence was used way more as decorations, the characters never really reacted to any of it and it didn't change a lot. But we are not soldiers or victims of war, perhaps that is how it is in modern war. You as a player just get desensitized to it like soldiers and civilians irl.
Sometimes it's cool. I was playing HC S&D and I was about to go through a door when I heard my teammate say, "I've got your six" so we went in together like pros.

Justin Smith I once played an offline game where the map was Shipment, the mode was Free for All, and there were at least 9 or 10 bots, all set to regular difficulty. It was mayhem, but I was able to survive huge amounts of time by using a PKM and 725 combo. Try this out sometime, you won’t regret it.
Modern warfare: we have a new difficulty to the campaign. Everyone: oh boy what could the new difficulty be? Modern warfare: SPEC OPS YOU DIE IN ONE HIT IF YOU DIE IN ANY MISSION THE ENTIRE CAMPAIGN RESTARTS
No so sober Cat Lmfao. I was getting upwards of 250+ kills a mission. Basically I used the FAL because it’s a one hit headshot on every single enemy except for Jugs. Then I would perch to the side. My buddies would gather in a group of three. I would pick them off as they came and I would have the medic ability. Then use it when more than one of my buddies fell.
It's pretty satisfying to know how quickly the vast majority of these bugs, glitches, and lack of customization were fixed or changed into this game's life cycle. Every issue with Spec Ops, the multiplayer bugs/animations, character customizations, etc. were all fixed within the "honeymoon" stage of this game. Gotta give Vanguard some credit tho, we finally have a pause button in Zombies after only waiting five months! For real though, MW2019 has a superb campaign and multiplayer in my opinion. The amount of changes and fixes they made so early on shows how dedicated the team was to making a great game. This is probably the most fun, fast-paced, polished COD experience I've ever had since the MW2-BO2 era. Both Gunfight and Warzone (Verdansk) were truly amazing as well. Solid experience.
Cant give them credit because the bugs were immdeitaly found on day 1 of release 😂. How the hell the devs get a whole year to check for bugs but players find out day 1 of release
As someone who beat all of the Spec Ops missions on release as a two man with randoms, I find the fact that you couldn't beat them insane with a four man. The most difficult was Paladin. Everything else was pretty easy. The modes got even easier with patches.
When my operator announces loudly "I have to reload" might as well add it's an LMG so it's going to be a little while before I can adequately defend myself fml
Yeah, mixed thoughts about that one. SOP in military is to yell if you're reloading or throwing a 'nade to let your buddies know to take cover or to provide cover but it's completely lost on CoD:MW when 64 headless chicken would be a calm bunch compared to all these players. Hey, i mean why help your mates when you can stand around teabagging your latest frag, am i right?
I just got into it because of the free to play stuff, I already gave away my position with "SETTING CLAYMORE" and about 2 seconds later I heard the enemy upstairs scream they were deploying their emp drone. Great stuff
Ik got killed by 5 guys camping in arklov peak with snipers and rpgs and 3 rpgs killed but when i shoot like 5 rpgs or put like 2 semtex and c 4s they dont die
Funny thing about the complaint that there's too much "controversial" content in the game ( like dead children, swinging corpses, crawling through dead bodies to evade the enemy ), but that's actually how real wars are. They're full of death, violence, hatred, blood, gore, rotting flesh, etc. And constant exposure has made and still makes soldiers desensitized to the hell that is war. For instance, Marine Eugene Sledge described a scene from his time in the Pacific theatre in which a fellow marine was casually tossing pebbles into the open skull of a dead japanese soldier while they were sitting around. No maliciousness intended. He was just tossing pebbles into the bloody mess of a human skull like a child skipping stones across a pond. If war is hellish enough, it can make even the most gruesome circumstances seem normal and uneventful. So, oddly enough, that might actually be the point of the constant, sick violence in Modern Warfare, to reflect on how you, the player, eventually become used to seeing that type of graphic content and are no longer moved by it if you're exposed enough.
I don’t know why more people don’t focus on the real stories of wars to make a good game. These games should show a Hellish landscape with atrocities all over. That’s real war is, that’s why COD WWII sucked, it’s based off a real war but feels more like an animated cartoon on the war when it should’ve been a dark campaign like COD WAW. People should pay attention to what people in real war go through and have went through to put that in their characters and make them feel a certain way throughout the campaign. Thanks for pointing this out!
Funnily enough, a friend of my dad's when he was kid who was in Merrill's Marauders got written up by his superiors for pulling out the teeth of dead Japanese soldiers as trophies. That's less fucked then what Sledge saw, but still. Have some respect for the dead. Leave them be. I honesty want a Call of Duty Vietnam game were you play as a member of the First infantry division, and see how demonically evil the Communists are. We only got a taste with Black Ops. Also, we can have Cameos with Mason and the boys.
I agree completely abt spec ops, I remember trying the first mission after beating the campaign with three friends and just being absolutely floored at how hard it was. And this was back during early covid so I had just been sitting on Xbox for like 3-6 hours a day (looking back Idek how I did that). I am not joking when I say we never got past the double juggernaut section outside of the stadium, and we weren’t bad at the game, me and one friend literally got Damascus camo, again I can’t believe it either, and the other two were good players as well, I guess I never realized how unnecessarily hard it was.
Not discussed here but I loved how the campaign follows the same beats and flow/pacing of the original MW but mixing things up and proving a different context to it. Chasing the Butcher through Beirut, avoiding the helicopter in the greenhouse at Barkov's state, storming the hospital with the marines or the chemical plant at the end. All very reminiscent of the missions in the original

they should add Casual and Ranked. Halo 3 did this the best and yet, games are still learning how to do matchmaking lol. Also, add dead silence as a perk.
I love the irony. Infinityward wants to make the game cater to new players, so they make the matchmaking heavily skill based. Anyone who has some good games has a worse experience in the future. Where's the motivation of doing good if you're only going to be punished in the future?
Some observations on Spec Ops: -4 players are needed to start a mission -Normal enemies can be killed with one headshot from any gun -Armored enemies and vehicles are rare -AP bullets can be put on any gun, meaning you can take out a chopper or a tank with a SMG if you have enough bullets -Supplies (like bullets) are everywhere These things combined mean that one very skilled player can beat the missions almost solo, especially if they know where the objectives and enemy spawns are. So if the other 3 players want to actually play, they need to be aggressive. And the enemies need to be plentiful. When I played, it ended up being a balance of careful rushing. You had to rush if you wanted the fun of shooting things, but if you rushed too recklessly, you'd get downed. Your take on Spec Ops makes you sound like you lost but didn't feel like learning how to win. Maybe it's because the previous games' missions were easier? I played every MW2019 mission. I played the challenge versions of the missions (melee only, headshots only, time bomb). I played the classic missions. I got every last piece of hidden intel. I died several times. And I had a blast. But that's because I saw that if I learned how to win, then I would. One of my happiest moments in gaming was getting the stealth intel from the airport mission, where you have to sneak into the building, use melee and silenced weapons, grab disguises, then open a secret door that can't be opened if your cover is blown. Needless to say, you can't get it with randoms, so it was me and 3 buddies. Just after we snuck in and opened the door, we got spotted. We were all worried we'd failed. But then we got there. In a dingy garage there was a truck, and one of the rarest collectibles in all of CoD. We grabbed it, and celebrated. And then a juggernaut came through a door behind us. I jumped in the truck and ran him over. We went back to celebrating and finished the mission. It was beautiful. Go back and learn how to win, Act Man. Bring some friends. You won't regret it.
I do have some criticisms about Spec Ops: -The medic class is the only really good one. A team revive from anywhere on the map is insanely useful, and the other class abilities don't even come close -Loadouts can't be tested without joining a mission, and many perks were Spec Ops specific, so they can't be tested outside of the game mode either -Classic modes don't let you pick your load outs -4 players needed to even start a mission 😖
Thats cause they were no uniform terrorist mercs who were holding a chemical gas which was a war crime and were simply using it for effect on these mercs and no white phosphorous is not a war crime
@Luca Tallerico hanging them was a war crime and according the law of armed conflict "The civilian population of an occupied territory owes no allegiance to the occupying power. As we will see in detail later, it cannot be forced to fight its own country, be involved in any way with the armed forces or give military assistance to the occupying power." "The civilian population is in a tense and vulnerable position. The law states that it must be *humanely treated in all circumstances* and protected from any acts of violence, including by third parties. The occupying power may only put in place such measures of control and security as may be necessary as a result of the conflict. Collective penalties, measures of intimidation, terrorism and hostage-taking are prohibited." "The legal rights of the inhabitants of occupied territory cannot be curtailed by any agreement or other arrangement between the occupying power and the authorities of the occupied territory. This is intended to prevent national authorities from being put under pressure to make concessions which might not be in the population’s best interests or weaken its legal rights. Similarly, the inhabitants of the occupied territory cannot renounce their rights under the Fourth Geneva Convention. This again is a safeguard. It prevents the occupying power from exploiting the vulnerability of the occupied territory by exerting undue pressure to undermine and weaken the protection which the law affords." so yes hanging civilians of a another country while occupying forces are in them is indeed a war crime. sorry I didn't make the Geneva convention pal

3, almost 4 years later, I can officially say the Spec ops for Modern Warfare 2019 is a masterpiece. A substantial masterpeice...well as long as all four players in your party are communicating and are ultra badass at the game😂
Throwing back a grenade only for another one to land into your lap, continuing this cycle for the next 5 minutes while you gather the confidence to advance 8 meters so you can finish the level in a timely manner, then getting mowed down anyway. Fun times...
To be fair, it’s not that uncommon to have anime skins in real life. The problem was the neon colors and magical color changing camos, and people running around in chicken costumes with a gun that is LITERALLY SHAPED LIKE A FUCKING AIRPLANE
As a kid growing up in the "Golden age" of COD(2006-2012), and then eventually moving onto other more intense franchises like Battlefield and such, I always wished COD would somehow find a way to balance their own style with innovations from other series. In my opinion, this game was exactly that, and it has been the best one since 2011 imo.
Brandon Ho you gotta start off knowing where they are then start saving your flashbangs so you can throw them at them. Other than that that’s what I did
honestly, MW is my favorite COD since MW2. it had a rough start, but between the gunsmith, WZ, no RNG bullshit, boots on the ground gameplay that doesn't suck, and variants that change the gun a lot visually, this is a great game in my opinion.
Yeah but also there are huge issues with the servers and a huge hacking problem and infinity ward would rather put out a bunch of content like new maps and guns instead of spending a just a little bit of time to fix the issues and it makes the gameplay sometimes so infuriating I've been playing cod 4 again and that multiplayer is way better with much higher time to kill and it might not have as much content but at least it's all good or most of it but the new modern warfare has so much content but I only really like about half of it I just want them to fix it because yes this is at its core the best call of duty in a long time but sense were gonna have a new call of duty in a few months I can gaurentee you they won't fix anything because why would they when this game will die in a snap when the next game is out
I stopped playing the CoD games seriously after Black Ops 2 (Barely touched MW3). Completely stopped playing after Ghosts - which was utter garbage. Tried this game tho and holy shit it's great. There are some issues (like every game) but it gives far more than it takes in my opinion. I thought maybe the games have just gotten better or maybe my time away from the series made me forget how much I loved the game, so I went back and played some of the other CoDs (Like Ghosts or Advanced Warfare) and they all suck ass. This game is just good, and I'm okay with that.
@@Helldog6 yeah but trust me after a couple months of playing you will get fed up with the issues I've been playing it sense it came out with almost no content and I agree the amount of content is awesome and it has amazing features and the best customization in any cod and so many maps and modes but the issues the game has is kind of astonishing I have never seen a triple A developer give such little shits about hacking and bugs also I'd way way rather them focus on fixing those issues and making this a long term call of duty rather than continuing to add stuff like maps because theres so many maps and modes they just need to fix the problems and it would easily be the best cod experience I've ever had in my time playing cod and I started in cod 4
@@Helldog6 also it's clear they only really care about adding stuff most people dont care about like quads in warzone and mw2 campaign remastered like those things probably took effort that they could have focused on making the new game actually good so that people still play it after this year otherwise the new cod will come out whatever it is and this game will die and the content they added wont Matter

Wait the campaign and spec ops are different this makes no sense
Solid experience.

he genuinely called the quad a mongoose, a true halo vet
Damn I never thought about that makes a lot of sense

I am not joking when I say we never got past the double juggernaut section outside of the stadium, and we weren’t bad at the game, me and one friend literally got Damascus camo, again I can’t believe it either, and the other two were good players as well, I guess I never realized how unnecessarily hard it was.

they should add Casual and Ranked. Halo 3 did this the best and yet, games are still learning how to do matchmaking lol. Also, add dead silence as a perk.
Smash Bros. Melee Melee?
The Act Man ffs
@@TheActMan that's what I'm thinking
I love the irony. Infinityward wants to make the game cater to new players, so they make the matchmaking heavily skill based. Anyone who has some good games has a worse experience in the future. Where's the motivation of doing good if you're only going to be punished in the future?
Some observations on Spec Ops:
-4 players are needed to start a mission
-Normal enemies can be killed with one headshot from any gun
-Armored enemies and vehicles are rare
-AP bullets can be put on any gun, meaning you can take out a chopper or a tank with a SMG if you have enough bullets
-Supplies (like bullets) are everywhere
These things combined mean that one very skilled player can beat the missions almost solo, especially if they know where the objectives and enemy spawns are.
I do have some criticisms about Spec Ops:
-The medic class is the only really good one. A team revive from anywhere on the map is insanely useful, and the other class abilities don't even come close
-Loadouts can't be tested without joining a mission, and many perks were Spec Ops specific, so they can't be tested outside of the game mode either
-Classic modes don't let you pick your load outs
-4 players needed to even start a mission 😖
Spec ops is like Zombies at round 500 and the Zombies have guns

*Alex watches the Russians hang civilians."This is a war crime."*
*Literally dropped white phospherous on people in the first mission*
Thats cause they were no uniform terrorist mercs who were holding a chemical gas which was a war crime and were simply using it for effect on these mercs and no white phosphorous is not a war crime
@Luca Tallerico hanging them was a war crime and according the law of armed conflict
"The civilian population of an occupied territory owes no allegiance to
the occupying power. As we will see in detail later, it cannot be forced
to fight its own country, be involved in any way with the armed forces
or give military assistance to the occupying power."
"The civilian population is in a tense and vulnerable position. The law
states that it must be *humanely treated in all circumstances* and protected from any acts of violence, including by third parties. The occupying
power may only put in place such measures of control and security as
may be necessary as a result of the conflict. Collective penalties, measures
of intimidation, terrorism and hostage-taking are prohibited."
"The legal rights of the inhabitants of occupied territory cannot be curtailed
by any agreement or other arrangement between the occupying power
and the authorities of the occupied territory. This is intended to prevent
national authorities from being put under pressure to make concessions which might not be in the population’s best interests or weaken
its legal rights.
Similarly, the inhabitants of the occupied territory cannot renounce their
rights under the Fourth Geneva Convention. This again is a safeguard.
It prevents the occupying power from exploiting the vulnerability of the
occupied territory by exerting undue pressure to undermine and weaken
the protection which the law affords."
so yes hanging civilians of a another country while occupying forces are in them is indeed a war crime. sorry I didn't make the Geneva convention pal

As a kid growing up in the "Golden age" of COD(2006-2012), and then eventually moving onto other more intense franchises like Battlefield and such, I always wished COD would somehow find a way to balance their own style with innovations from other series. honestly, MW is my favorite COD since MW2. it had a rough start, but between the gunsmith, WZ, no RNG bullshit, boots on the ground gameplay that doesn't suck, and variants that change the gun a lot visually, this is a great game in my opinion.
Yeah but also there are huge issues with the servers and a huge hacking problem and infinity ward would rather put out a bunch of content like new maps and guns instead of spending a just a little bit of time to fix the issues and it makes the gameplay sometimes so infuriating I've been playing cod 4 again and that multiplayer is way better with much higher time to kill and it might not have as much content but at least it's all good or most of it but the new modern warfare has so much content but I only really like about half of it I just want them to fix it because yes this is at its core the best call of duty in a long time but sense were gonna have a new call of duty in a few months I can gaurentee you they won't fix anything because why would they when this game will die in a snap when the next game is out
trikshot master1021 Yes
