Without sounding all Star Wars…there is another, wood. At the junction of berm donor/liar liar pants on fire. If you go through the gate and take a left. Cycle the farm track for about 1km you’ll pick up lionthorn wood. It starts with a fast, steep bermy boy into some dense woods and ends up in a housing estate! You can then cycle to a cafe/ice cream parlour where there’s a trail called Captain Hook which takes you back around to the farm track between auchengean and lionthorn….did you do the Canada woods side? It’s very mild.
Cheers mate, I didn’t know about that wood, I’ll have to check it out.👍😁🤙🤙🤙 I did a bit of the green graded Canada Wood trails too, tame as you say but it was nice thought it might be good to take my daughter there. Thanks for the info, I really appreciate it.👌😁🤙🤙
@@muddymongoosemtb9873 no worries. Keep up the vids, great for me doing research of where to head next 😂. I usually have a wee warm up run around Canada wood side and check tyre pressure/conditions. Then head across to lionthorn and finish at auchengean….the naturalist isn’t easy at the wee burn…had a few OTB’s down there. Liar liar pants on fire the winner for me up there! Carron valley this Sunday for us! Enjoy the weather lad
Yes you could go down it, the board at the top said you couldn’t but it was a bit awkward to get around the first jump. I thought it was a pretty good line getting progressively more difficult as you go down it. A good line to progress on jumps.😁🤙🤙
Great vid Don, gap jumps are something I’m gonna have to get the hang of too. The local trails don’t have any but there’s a few places I wanna check out where they are a part of the trail. It looks like a great place mate 👌
Cheers mate, yeah it’s a nice place. Yeah, I need a lot more work on jumping before attempting gaps or I’ll end up pile driving face first into the ground!😂😂😂
Been ages since I was last at Callendar Estate, the Naturist is a rough trail and like you say involves a lot of pedalling, Liar Liar's relavitely new used to be an uphill trail but think the new one is better. It's a great place for begginer mountain bikers as they have green trails near the cafe and bike shop along with the mini skills park, it's one of my favourites, cheers for sharing Donald 😁🚵🤙
Cheers Gary, I really enjoyed it- it’s got a good mix of trails there to progress on. Really well made, think it’s ideally suited to ebikes...at least I would have found it easier trying to get up to speed for those jumps!😂😂😂I made a right mess with my gears there to be honest.😂😂
@@muddymongoosemtb9873 Been there with getting my speed up on the hill climbs, even on an ebike, wrong gear and bike goes into slow mode 😂 just have to remind myself to change gear way before climb sections, Oh another trail suggestion about 6 miles from Callendar Estate North of Larbert is Torwood Mountain Bike Trails, trails made my locals, lots of jump sections and lots of rideable trails also 👍
Nice Vid dude. looks like the kind of place that may be good for me to take Fay.
Definitely a good place to take Fay Dave. It’s got a good progression of trails - something for everyone to enjoy.😁🤙🤙

Pretty sure there is a chicken line on Jack's trail. I have been down it and don't jump, especially gaps.. lol
