Road to Lionthorn with Stevie - Canada Woods MTB - Lionthorn MTB - Callander Estate MTB

I returned to Callander Estate and met up with Stevie who gave me a tour of more of the trails in the area including nearby Lionthorn. It was an extremely hot day but I managed to huff and puff my way round. It has so much to offer from beginners to more advanced riders and I was lucky to have an excellent guide in Stevie who also pointed out more trails as we past them which I hope to check out in the future. A good day out on the bike!

The Lionthorn, or Kilbean trails on Trailforks, is usually part of my journey whenever I cycle it from Armadale in West Lothian out to Callendar Estate in Falkirk. I enjoy the top section of the trail heading west from the black trail you were on, plenty of berms to traverse down well made bit of trail. There's also some small trails between the Antonine Wall and Falkirk wheel for some extra local trail riding, have to head back here at some point, thanks for sharing! 😁🚵‍♂️🤙

As a Falkirk local, I'm feel really lucky with the sheer amount of options around me. Nice loop, you'll need to ask your mate about Bush Wacker. It's a bit of a shadow of it's former self, but still great fun. Can been hooked into a trip to Rough Castle roman fort, with hundreds of little trails in the woods there. This video has made me miss summer though

I was a good loop, and it was sweltering that day.🥵🥵. Is bush whacker on trailforks? Stevie was pointing out other places to go as we were on our loop. It is great to have quality trails nearby.🤙🤙🤙 cheers mate.😁🤙
