- Build this snowdog in 2020 and sold it soon after(regret a tone) 13hp tecumseh with 30 series torque converter. Parts off old Polaris 440 ss that I picked up for 250$ then sold the engine for 250$ lol only used the track and drive cog and boggie wheels
Sorry for the sound on second half. Snow was crusty and loud
I got mine done too late last Winter to use very much. I'm looking forward to using it this Winter. Yours looks like it works great!
I like the fall down and laugh….. lol good reason to make mine with a seat. I’m done mine 95%. Nice video!!!!!
They are fun little machines. This one i sold last year but currently building one with bogie suspension and smaller 6.5hp engine
@@NBLife459 so you’d prefer the smaller motor?
@@kingofkracovia not really but got it for cheap and will know more once i trie it. Im guessing i will upgrade later on
My almost finished build has a 6.5 on it now and I’m already thinking about the next one I haven’t even started yet but I have many of the parts for. Might end up being a 15hp. But I’m still curious how much tow power the 6.5 will have.
Nice build! Look's like fun.
Lots of fun🤙🏻 thanks
@@NBLife459 How long/far does it run/go on a full tank?
@@DjSubstain Not really sure. Sold it soon after I built it but currently building a other one. Couple hours of fun for less then 10$ for sure and hauls lots of weight no problem.
Someone needs to make this with a hydraulic auger for ice fishing
Looks great! What did you use for a track?
Track was off a 1980's Polaris 440ss no chain case with keyed drive cog👌 and is run backwards also for maximum traction. Could go up long steep hills no problem and haul lots of weight
Hi. What spocket tooth do you have? All 4. Best regards, Jimmy Munkholm
10t on the torque converter then 2-12t on the jackshaft and 36 on the cog. 40 series sprockets/chains. Had lots of speed and torque 👌
@@NBLife459 Thanks! It looks to be going really well.
Do you have a problem With your clutch kit With à 13 hp ??
Did not work perfect but got the job done. Would advise a 40series instead or 9hp and less for an engine. Currently running a 7.5 pro point on my other build and 30 series works great.
