Did a nice job on that machine pretty impressive I like your idea of the bogeys instead of sliders
It was nice but i liked the sliders more. Better in deep snow. Now got a real snowdog cant wait to try it out see if i like it more then my homemade builds lol
Awsome song...
Go to the woods line there should be more roots and less water you could've kept going
500 foot after over the hill there was a big dame with a river that was impossible to cross. But yeah on the side would of been easier but was looking for a challenge haha
Attendez le printemps que la neige fonde 🙈
Setais le printemps mes plus haut dans le bois sa fond moin vite
What year is you dr 650?
2019
I got my DR650 stuck twice watching this.
That's TW200 territory there.
For sure haha. Still a good time
What size lugs on that track 1 inch?
Either 1" or 3/4" dont remember
Do you have anything on how you built the bogie frame? Wanting to make one that, and considered using an old sled track but don’t want the slides
Just did my own frame with 1" square tubing with 12 boggie wheels. No video of the build sorry
what exhaust your running
Its a DG exhaust
Nice
Never discount the ability of sled skipping at high speed #unstoppable
how has the 1in square tubing been holding up? what thickness is it? did you see a difference in handling between your first hyfax slide one to the bogie wheel one? thanks
Wish I could find a video of someone climbing some mountains. I don't have anywhere flat to drive one of those that I would need to drive it in.
Not the best at climbing straight up but has no problem carving the side to get up
People who thought it was 👀
Pretty much
Nice setup, did you build the chassis yourself, and where did you get the track and drive train
Yes full custom chassis and undercarriage. Track is from a Ski-doo Citation 100" i think and had Elan drive cog with 40 series chains and sprockets
I think this is the best track sled I've seen in deep snow. You're on to something here. The power, gearing, and weight, ratio must be spot on!
Hi, can you tell me why you don't drive a snowmobile instead,,,?
Cause this is reliable and cheap to run and just a different kind of fun. Love snowmobiling too lol
can you make a quick video on how you attached your throttle cable to the engine.... ? id be curious
Some engines already comes with the bracket that has the cable holder on it if not you can buy it on Amazon cheap
Where at in nb?
This was in the Mount Carleton area by Serpentine lodge
Watch out for that tree!
Love it!
Do you have a problem With your clutch kit With à 13 hp ??
Did not work perfect but got the job done. Would advise a 40series instead or 9hp and less for an engine. Currently running a 7.5 pro point on my other build and 30 series works great.
👊 'PromoSM'
Where did you get the boggie wheels from?
Bought 12 from a local used parts guy for 10$ each
Did you buy or build this one? Cos I want one
This is fully custom build by me. My second one. Now in the process of building a 3rd one
No I'm disliking and do not recommending
Lmao are you trolling??
Stay well clear of them
Yeeehaa
Tough call if it's first thing in the morning I'd go for it too👍
Ended up having to go back thru it since there was a huge pond over the hill
@@NBLife459 aw shit that sucks,at least you got out to ride some!
what are mods done to old bike?
As far as we know just DG exhaust and K&N filter but its the oldes of the bunch and fastest lol the jetting might be a little of on the 2019.
Awww
That was freaking awesome...looks like fun man
Pogner de leau hahaha nice
I’ll be taking notes joke from a ten year old until we meet again
What is your gearing on that looks perfect balance of speed and torque
10t on clutch going to a 20t on jack shaft then 13t from jack shaft to 30t drive cog sprocket
@@NBLife459 thanks for info....building one is on the summer bucket list
I love this
thats a bad ass unit
Love it built mine this season and it really has outperformed what I thought it was gonna do!
How to you set up the hooks in the back
The hitch? Has original Pelican hitch shorten and its 2 nuts welded to a plate with piece of round stock going threw it with a plate welded in the middle with a hole on the end
Nice setup !
That is pretty sweet
Nice bushwacken! I've got a 03 Arctic Cat 900 ZR. It's a BEAST 150ish HP but it weighs a ton, I'm thinking of building one of these. You cave a very clean build, and I too believe in bogies over HYFAX. Summer project, pick one up cheaper one someone just blew up!
WOW have seen so many people claiming they dont do well in deep snow but that thing rips !!!!!!!
Nice build man! what are you getting for top speed?
35km/h on hard pack
@@NBLife459 nice! That's quick I can do about 17mph on mine
Someone needs to make this with a hydraulic auger for ice fishing
Any advantage to the pivoting handle bar set up vs your other video? Looks like it would be comfortable where as the fixed looks like you might be able to get through some more difficult terrain by tipping the from of the track up?
They have a bump stop like my other setup just not same spot. Where im riding is mostly where the stop is but since the front end is up cause of the deep snow it makes it look like its floating
Hi. What spocket tooth do you have? All 4. Best regards, Jimmy Munkholm
10t on the torque converter then 2-12t on the jackshaft and 36 on the cog. 40 series sprockets/chains. Had lots of speed and torque 👌
@@NBLife459 Thanks! It looks to be going really well.
Nice build! I made one too and listed all the parts so if anyone wants to learn how to build one it's easy: th-cam.com/video/7ywB0KjJT_A/w-d-xo.html
