I purchased a snowdog this winter and I find it easier to control the snowdog standing up in deep powder because it likes to lean to the right or left depending on the snow. I only sit down when there's very little snow or the snow is hard.
Exactly. bought an 82 skidoo citation 4500 in showroom condition off an american dude for $600 cause there wasnt enough snow in down in his state, brought her up in northern canada & she starts one pull in all kinds of weather even in -50c also got another lovely polaris triple that runs like a dream. Point is if i bought them both in the same day at the same time, it would be cheaper than the snowmutt.
Josh, keep an eye on the sled hifax..it will wear out fast if you are on ice or hard pack snow.
Ive noticed that
Maine also requires registration. Anything to get that extra tax revenue. I threw a rotopax 1 gal gas can on mine, it helps balance it better too.
Nice which side?
Nice set up. What is the auger mount you are using? (I have a Husky track sled, 13 hp)
Coleman mad dog mounts super cheap on amazon
Josh you ever thought you’d like the seat they offer ? I think my back would be toast standing up like that for an extended period of time. 👍
I have it, haven't used it yet.

Nice! But $5000? I can see that this a good solution for folks that do not have space for a sled and trailer just cant get over the price.
Me either I sure buy a snowmobile before spending $5000 on this .$5000 you can get pretty nice sled .
it's silly
In Russia, the price of this transport is about $ 1400
Wow
Did you ever get into slush with it and how did it handle that?
It handles some slush but not a ton. Like most machines I will say it's a lot lighter to get unstuck the. Most machines
@@BendItFishing thanks for the info.
Range?
.8 gallons per hour, it has a 1.75 gallon tank so I always carry more gas
If someone is ripping across the lake at 60mph, when they get there they will have to turn around to go back and buy all new gear.
Good thing this does 20!
I don't know I think it over price. For $5000 I buy used snowmobile for ice fishing . If you said price right for that machine $5000.

But you can't run a snowmobile in the summer months for long periods of time.
@@Jon_Chapman not much of summer here in the canadian arctic circle.
What happened to the first one you had
Sold it locally
I contacted NH F&G and had a lengthy convo with Officer McFazen. He talked over with his superiors and decided it could be registered as an OHRV
I've heard you can reg it as either
@@BendItFishing I went the OHRV route as it was cheaper and I only plan to use it in the winter for ICEFISHING. Mine is the standard 10hp.
