This world premiere performance almost 20 years later is still the best. Not any other performances have surpassed this premiere show. Yo Yo Ma played with deep feeling, passionate, natural understanding of the music and the French National Orchestra as a whole, presented a moving, touching and great performance. Also the sound recording is outstanding! Unfortunately this event doesn’t have a video recording.
