Same here. Have to admit when they left this "pop" style for the" Nuveau Jazz/Rock" I called it, it was a shock. Once I really gave it a listen (Tambu), Oh man...think I like them more now than ever. 😎
Steve Lukather is the one singing and on lead guitar and Michael McDonald on background vocals. These guys are cream if the crop musicians that were studio musicians as well. Another great song is If it’s the Last Night, Rosanna ,Africa to name a few.
@@michaelasay8587 - seriously?! These guys are still going strong after 40 years! They are still performing, churning out albums and performing concerts yearly. Steve Lukather aka Luke, tours with Ringo Starr and his band every fall. We didn't get to see Toto this year, and their VIP was Sold Out, and we always like to go backstage and catch up with them, but we will see them next year.

Great reaction and great song!! Another good song by Toto to listen to is one of their prettiest and most underrated songs, "I Won't Hold You Back" which was released in 1983. The lyrics are hauntingly beautiful. I get tears in my eyes every time I listen to this song.
Maybe released as a single in 1983, but the album came out in 1982.

This is my favorite song from them. The lyrics to the melody is on point. Toto is still touring and singing their hits. A couple of them played some songs on the Thriller album. Know the guitarist Steve did, can't remember the other one. Very talented group

To tell you how GREAT TOTO is, when they won their 6 Grammys for TOTO IV, they played on 22 nominated LPs...so the boys in TOTO are sitting in the auditorium and 22 other artists had them play on their records...prolific artists...each member played on at least 1500 other lps and had their own band!
