DITTO, DOUBLE DOWN DITTO. Excatly what I needed. Could hardly sleep last night thinking about how I was going to replace bushing in my rear shock. Great to see, no special tools needed, and something I think even I can do. BIG OLE THANK YOU Spanky.

You got the right idea, but the hose clamp isn't needed. What is needed is a good amount of grease. Grease the bushing, as well as the hole in the shock. Once you get the big lip pushed in, you can push it the rest of the way in. SuperPro has a great video on this. Also, you really should be using grease instead of oil.
As for removing the original rubber bushing, a ball joint hand press works very well. No muss, no fuss. Think of it like a big C-clamp. 👍🏼✌🏼

More than one way to do it I’m sure. This works easy and fast for me. Thanks for watching.

@@SpankysHotRodsandCustoms No kidding...and how man guys have a $300 ball joint press laying around...your method was simple and quick and worked. Some guys just can't accept that!

Very impressive, almost effortless, simple and quick. couldn't ask for anything more. I would use silicon grease however. Did you use the steel sleeve in the new bushing or did you not have to use it? Thanks. great video!

Thanks for watching and your comments. I asked about grease and using the sleeve. They said no sleeves and carful on what is used for a lubricant. Seems like they wanted a lubricant that would dry and slow the bushings to stay rigid and firm. Glad you enjoyed the video and please subscribe if you haven’t.

When I went to replace the bushings in my coil overs I tried the method in the video "TCI Coilover Bushings" by the
BulldogMFGLLC TH-cam channel. I didn't boil the bushings but I put them in hot water to soften them. It's faster but I think next time I would try your method. 👍
