  • This is my collection of Lost In Space props and dioramas that I display at home and at another downtown building. I created dioramas of several episode scenes and made replica props and sets related to the series.

    I've always been a huge Lost in Space fan. To tell you how I feel about the work you've done to recreate the props and sets is Absolutely beyond words. All you need to recreate now is a smoked glass or plastic model of the Jupiter 2 sitting on the launch cradle and pad. Then install thin wires along one of the legs of the cradle connected to pulsating lights inside the Jupiter 2 to give it the glowing effect at liftoff. And add that famous scream from Dr. Smith. 🤣💞

    Truly amazing and wonderful work! For each diorama I could immediately recognize what episode it came from. I also very much enjoyed the stage layout set-ups. I've often wondered what it must have been like to show up to work each day as one of the actors or crew and what they experienced vs what we saw on film. There are so very few behind the scenes photos to give us that insight. This was the next best thing. Kudos to your attention to detail and extraordinary work! This was evidently a labor of love.

    • @williamhedges1519
      @williamhedges1519  2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I also always wanted to know what the sets were really like, that's why I created some of the stage dioramas, so I could see what it looked like behind the camera. I used blueprints of the sets and the few behind the scenes photos to try and make it as accurate as I could.

You have succeeded on so many levels that any fan would find it hard to describe. I gotta work my way up to Nebraska one of these days. I have been a fan of Lost In Space since mid 1970s as a 10 year old and still continue to watch this show now and I'm late 50s but ive never seen anything like this looking at every diarama scene in detail the work that went in to this is truly amazingly out of this world. I thought being a fan of the show was dedication enough. But this has outdone lots of us dedicated to this wonderful family space adventure.I can only dream about being surrounded by such a favorable atmosphere. The only items i have as my dedication is the Moebius models of Jupiter 2, The Space Pod, The Chariot and the B9 Robot. All Unbuilt and I'm worrying about lighting them and electronics ive no idea how to put together. Its mind boggling. Really lost for words. Top marks? That's super dedication to a 1960s SciFi.👍🤯😧😲😯💫✨🌟

    Plus, Knoxville (within an hour of Pigeon Forge) is known for a fair amount of TV production work...you might gain some clients for your studio. Just a suggestion.
