The idea of this going in this direction sounds really amazing but at the same time it’s the loop holes and flaws within the system that are gonna cause a really big problem and that’s the vulnerability of the app or whatever you’re using in order to play games PlayStation has been hacked many times And going based off a third-party software so that you can play Xbox games anywhere enhances that vulnerability and Xbox has been hacked before too, but I don’t really hear about that too much. I don’t want to fearmonger either, but I feel like they need a stronger system to detect any vulnerabilities flaws back door entrances so on and so forth.
If Xbox makes a psp type console. You know those small size umd discs and a handheld like steam deck... I'm gonna like. Just don't mess up like Xbox One.
Call me crazy, but what would be the point of buying an xbox system or disc when they are going all digital. Nothing beats a switch or any retro console with physical disc.
I can't use the cloud because Microsoft is throttling my connection to them. I also can't download faster than 20mb per second even though my connection normally does over 200mb per second. Because of this I've decided to not renew my gamepass ultimate I've had for years. They boost the bandwidth for certain popular downloads like the recent Diablo expansion and that's how I know it's Microsoft and not my isp.
The problem with streaming is that it's really expensive for the company. Consider that they need to have one Xbox running for every person playing. So that's millions of boxes potentially and they have to pay for the facility where all those boxes live and electricity to power them and air conditioning to keep them from over heating...
@@TheEgb18c If it was as cheap as you think Google wouldn't have pulled out Stadia. As a new father again I barely have time to play on a console so I started playing remotely. Honestly this is a plus for me since I can play in bed every once in a while. Ultimately, if it goes strictly streaming games and stuff it will be terrible for fps games and other games that require responsiveness. I use the gamesir g8+ and there's little to no input lag, but playing cod or even mass effect is so much easier on console & monitor/tv

A tablet and a controller on the go will be great, any of the PS Portal type devices (except the portal of course), and just your phone if you want. Pretty big step forward in proper gaming on the go
Things like Kishi and Backbones exist for mobile. Basically turn your phone into a switch or deck type console. Xbox will have a portable console without making one. Not my preferred method, but definitely not a huge negative like people in the comments are acting.
God forbid Microsoft focus on making solid exclusive games…instead, let’s focus on cloud gaming like the ouya and stadia because they have a huge market share
Mobile gaming is the death of console games. Not saying that they'll all go away, but these greedy interrupting cash grabs will become more and more commonplace, cheapening the experience for end users while maximizing profits at the cost of immersion, creativity, and innovation. Give it ten years or so. We'll all be playing WWE Fort Mine Nite Craft with opportunities to buy... I mean, license upgrades at a low subscription cost.
Game streaming works only in a handful of countries, and its like that for years. It seems they have no plan on changing that. To make it worse, there is no way to override this, as its locked to your account region, which is then enforced with credit card information.
I think there will still be a way to play your games with some sort of PC like hardware. There’s just so much work to be done with game streaming before it’s close to as good as console gaming imo
So will I be able to buy a game on my phone and have it queued for download directly to my console's physical storage? Like if I get an email notification that a game in my wishlist has gone on sale, can I then open the app on my phone and buy it for my console library?
The thing is consoles are not the future of gaming, they might stick around, but the big market is mobile gaming, while PC gaming has been the most stable market. Valve is going in the right direction with the SteamDeck, mobile PC's are possibly the thing that might take over the big market at some point. Microsoft's take is also not bad, but the problem remains that streaming gaming needs a strong and stable connection, which will limit the amount of people that can use it at all.
Much more than phones - Android is on portable gaming devices like Logitech G Cloud - play in your sofa when the kids or a partner use the TV. Browsers are also on all Apple laptops and iPads.
Cloud gaming on mobile may look better than on a widescreen but of course bandwidth speeds and reliability will still ruin the experience. Gaming phones will make more sense in november. Is apple doing the same thing as google too? Because most of people in the US still has iphones.
so would this also apply to the OG Saints Row 1 for PC? because fans are still being their best for 2 to be fixed and IdolNinja was working on porting SR 1 to PC
I'm over consoles. I play mostly on my SteamDeck and a little bit on my PC (I got it to play Helldivers 2, but got a little bit tired of that game). I still have my Xbox series X, but cancelled gamepass ultimate recently because I don't use the Xbox or gamepass any longer. Watching this channel is the reason I initially sprung for the series X. I have a bazillion games purchased between Xbox and PC. I won't miss gamepass.
Thank you for keeping us updated. Other than gamepass cloud, i didnt know we were going to have our owned game be able to play from xbox app. I knew about remote play, but that meant i have to leave on my xbox and depending if i have good enough streaming bandwidth to play on the go downside being only remote play. You saying xbox app whatever device i use will play owned games entirely without a console now starting November?
I love this idea because a person such as myself at this point in time dont have the time to sit down and boot up a xbox console so have this idea on the go is a great way for people to enjoy a bit of game time on a train maybe even waiting for a plane at the airport with time to spare
I really hope MS goes hybrid console next gen. Strong handheld like the Steam Deck. With an optional docking station that lets you select the GPU in it to boost graphics. Something like the Razer Core X. That would be nuts.
I think hybrid is the future of console, clearly graphics don't sell consoles & games as much as Microsoft & Sony wants. Sure we can push graphics even more but they're already good enough for a majority of people.
now we get straight xbox gaming without ever owning a system.. i believe thats a really good thing for gaming in general.. Because people that cant afford a console or computer like lots of us, they will have a chance to play gloud of have garbage computers tvs phones
i think i'll stick with this stuff for a few years still. after that i think i have enough games on my hacked 3ds (Done with no qualms after the shop closed) to carry me throughout the rest of my life.
Consoles should still be made, but as a mobile and portable gamer it’s nice to see. But I also understand that having a physical copy of a game is leagues better than a digital version of it, but being able to play Xbox games on mobile is nice for those who can’t afford a console or pc.
I wish the Xbox app on pc had more game on sale or a bigger selection of games like steam. I like the app and might use it more often. It's Xbox and included with windows.
Yeah, there's honestly no reason for this at all. I've honestly just had no easy interactions with a lot of Twitch streamers, toxic communities and just when I try to explain crap messaging gets thrown around, both streamers and their followers. Granted sure, wouldn't be much different with YT. It's just more convenient because Twitch basically is YT without a plethora of saved/archived/whatever media to be found. People just hop on Twitch to stream vs content uploads where YT thrives. I'm honestly surprised YR hasn't already dethroned Twitch in the streaming formfactor by now.

I have already of people followed, notifications on, that it hardly/never sends me anymore, e-mail included, regardless what machine/browser I'm on. I understand there point of view for portability with out taking the console anywhere and just to get the play the console at home but I still feel that the experience of the lag on cloud gaming would like to see a better fix but like that Xbox becoming a better alternative to people that use cloud gaming and can’t afford a console
How long do we have to wait til we can pair the xbox app to our console (for typing)? This App is 11 Years old, the developers & senior management don't seem very smart. Not to mention the person running the company 🤦.
If Microsoft was smart, they'd peace out on the console business, but have a PC Spec Requirement or have 3rd parties build the consoles, and have the OS available for the PCs that meet the standard requirement . That's just me though
I think xbox should continue to make consoles and give gamers the option to play their catalog on the go. You should be able to buy the game or game service and be able to play it on your console, tablet, or phone as long as the hardware permits.
Microsoft violates their own terms and conditions. Hundreds of people have reported false bans for no reason. Ghillie Master was also targeted. The strike system and enforcement team is worthless, and then you have these degenerates using exploits to ban people. How do you get permanently banned with zero strikes.
I can get behind this. I live in wnc and this hurricane messed up our Wi-Fi here and Idk when it's gonna get fixed so I can play the new games I preordered before my wifi went out I can play on my phone thanks to my unlimited mobile data
Xbox is spreading way to thin here and I think that could be an issue. It would be kind of neat turning your phone into a PS portal type of an idea but you will need a system to fall back on. That is definitely not a problem.
I think this is a good start but what will really become a game changer is imbedding AI accelerator into a xbox hand held that has strong windows compatability. Bring first party games to it like GTA6 and they would outsell ps5 in short order but I also don't think that will likely happen in time for gta 6. So great potential but probably going to miss the mark by a year or two.

People who play via Samsung TV or FireStick will also be able to play games from their own library as well as console and PC players. Everyone who subscribes to Ultimate will be able to buy games and then stream them any way they want. It puts Xbox ahead of the competition in this regard, and this is good news for everyone. Pity so many TH-camrs are putting out half arsed researched videos with the wrong info
Eu acho que eles deviam fazer um console como já fazem mas
No Windows adicionar um aplicativo para abrir o Xbox
E aí seria a magia
The problem with streaming is that it's really expensive for the company. Consider that they need to have one Xbox running for every person playing. So that's millions of boxes potentially and they have to pay for the facility where all those boxes live and electricity to power them and air conditioning to keep them from over heating...
Shhhh just enjoy the ride brother
They might do things we can't think of
Nah it's servers that stream these games to multiple people at a time, it's cheaper for them
@@TheEgb18c If it was as cheap as you think Google wouldn't have pulled out Stadia. The initial cost for such infrastructure is very expansive and if the company doesn't manage to sell as many copy/subscription as needed they will lose ton of money (like Stadia).
Hosting server isn't cheap at all. TH-cam lose money years after years.
That's not how it works...
I have an XSS. It's a p.o.s. I also have a PS3. There's a store in town that sells old games like Gold Case NES Zelda. Going to start buying physical copies soon.
you can emulate so many games with a series S look into dev mode. i think archadia games has tutorials.
So if you buying an xbox is not good or worth the money now?
As a new father again I barely have time to play on a console so I started playing remotely. Honestly this is a plus for me since I can play in bed every once in a while.
Ultimately, if it goes strictly streaming games and stuff it will be terrible for fps games and other games that require responsiveness. I use the gamesir g8+ and there's little to no input lag, but playing cod or even mass effect is so much easier on console & monitor/tv
For someone with kids and always on the go this is a huge win for me and being able to by games that they're slow on adding to game pass is awesome
if they make it that I can access my game library thru the app and play em on the tv would be cool
Should I buy an xbox series x or no customer I am scared that xbox will go down and my console will be usless
Can i do this on apple as well?
YEAH!! "Xbox is winning"
"XX is going to be the year of the Xbox"
"Xbox is changing the game"
Microsoft: "don't need Xbox to play (not buy) Xbox games...'cause they're sold on PS5 instead"
Jesus, leave it to Xbox to pull this crap Ok gamers get ready to Ignore x box until they stop being stupid again
Let's ditch the disc but go all in on SSD based carts. Whole game on board, instant loading, big art on a label, could keep saves and DLC local.
I hope they can put in a feature that will allow me to have more customize options for the on screen buttons for remote play.
Cloud gaming on mobile may look better than on a widescreen but of course bandwidth speeds and reliability will still ruin the experience. Gaming phones will make more sense in november. Is apple doing the same thing as google too? Because most of people in the US still has iphones.
Lmao where do you think you get your facts?! 😂
I have to work out how to play JRPGs on my smart TV. I'm pc all day but miss chilling on the couch sometimes.
so would this also apply to the OG Saints Row 1 for PC? because fans are still being their best for 2 to be fixed and IdolNinja was working on porting SR 1 to PC
I have been cloud gaming for over a year streaming my Xbox from home and love it.
I love this idea because a person such as myself at this point in time dont have the time to sit down and boot up a xbox console so have this idea on the go is a great way for people to enjoy a bit of game time on a train maybe even waiting for a plane at the airport with time to spare
Shoot many robots would be cool on a gamepad
Think will come down to how good is your Internet provider, i live in the mountains an takes days to download a game 😅😅😅😅
Microsoft needs to make a small controller for phones or a phone case with a slide out controller like a psp go did
Imagine playing assassins creed on your phone💀🙏
i play it with xbox
game pass❤😊
The padding in this video is real...
Gaming on my phone has always been troublesome at best. If they made something like the PS Portal, it could be great.
i think i'll stick with this stuff for a few years still. after that i think i have enough games on my hacked 3ds (Done with no qualms after the shop closed) to carry me throughout the rest of my life.
Consoles should still be made, but as a mobile and portable gamer it’s nice to see. But I also understand that having a physical copy of a game is leagues better than a digital version of it, but being able to play Xbox games on mobile is nice for those who can’t afford a console or pc.
This leads into their own mobile console.
I wish the Xbox app on pc had more game on sale or a bigger selection of games like steam. I like the app and might use it more often. It's Xbox and included with windows.
I’d really like to stream directly from Xbox to TH-cam instead of just being limited to twitch. Why can’t I do that?
Google pettiness.
Because Google. But you could do it through a capture card to your PC then to TH-cam.
@@DaveGX I’ve been variety concentrator for 17 years I used to stream to TH-cam directly from the PS4. I had a pretty big gaming channel but that was years ago and when I moved to Xbox, I was limited to twitch which I don’t really like twitch.
@@WaynesWorldUnlimitedNever knew Play$tation 4 could do it..... Natively, I mean, as an app or whatever like Box does with Twitch. Ironically, such a shame the way the UI only works on XBox' favor as far as notifications go, that's the huge downer right there. Because it would've been nice to know who is online when on Twitch, which still has notification hiccups. I have already of people followed, notifications on, that it hardly/never sends me anymore, e-mail included, regardless what machine/browser I'm on. I'm honestly just not all that reliant to use Twitch for much media anymore. I'm surprised TY hasn't already usurped them as the go-to livestreaming service.
"Google Stadia was ahead of its time. The Chromecast and gaming controller combo was a brilliant concept. I remember when Cyberpunk 2077 first came out; it ran flawlessly on Stadia, while my Xbox struggled to keep up."
I´m not a Halo fan but the moment, games like Halo, Gears, Forza or Fable appears on a playstation, or any other console they can go the Sega way.
And those who claim to be Halo fans, would be the first that cried if they kept it the old way for the last 20+ years.
Pure bull 80% of the world can't do this no money to be made everyone's still making consoles in the future phones suck
Nobody wants to game on a phone
I do when I'm taking a break from work
If I'm not home, yeah. Cod mobile is good but Imagine halo 3
Will you be able to play your own games without linking a console?
If Microsoft was smart, they'd peace out on the console business, but have a PC Spec Requirement or have 3rd parties build the consoles, and have the OS available for the PCs that meet the standard requirement . That's just me though
I think xbox should continue to make consoles and give gamers the option to play their catalog on the go. You should be able to buy the game or game service and be able to play it on your console, tablet, or phone as long as the hardware permits.
XBox is not open to third party stores. Windows UWP apps are limited to Windows store.
This man is so obsessed with the jazz elevator music
😂
Cowboy Bebop music
Microsoft needs to be sued for false console bans/account bans. Don't waste your money!
Unfortunately, we agreed to their terms
Stop cheating lmao 🤡
Microsoft violates their own terms and conditions. Hundreds of people have reported false bans for no reason. Ghillie Master was also targeted. The strike system and enforcement team is worthless, and then you have these degenerates using exploits to ban people. How do you get permanently banned with zero strikes.
Dude sounds like guilty of that...😂😂😂
bobbypoff over here
Opening up Google Play is such a W!
That raises concerns about ownership of games, losing ownership of games and hardware
“There’s no going back. You’ve changed things… forever.” -Joker
I can get behind this. I live in wnc and this hurricane messed up our Wi-Fi here and Idk when it's gonna get fixed so I can play the new games I preordered before my wifi went out I can play on my phone thanks to my unlimited mobile data
Xbox is gonna become Netflix but for Games
Netflix used to have games
Netflix used to have games on disk
i hope they add the xbox app to the mac app store as well
Google finally got the same treatment they benefited from Microsoft getting decades ago now
I need the console and controller. Thata do it for me.
I hate how he sounds so confident talking about something he has absolutely no idea about. He’s just speculating 🤣.
I know both sides would be negative but my hope is a Xbox Playstation hybrid collab
I have the console experience on my fold phone and it's great. It's definitely the future.
being able to stream Madden at work is about to be baddass
You can already do that with Xcloud they have NFL 24 that you can play
Excited to play on my Z Fold 5 and my tab s9 ultra with controllers though
Xbox is spreading way to thin here and I think that could be an issue. It would be kind of neat turning your phone into a PS portal type of an idea but you will need a system to fall back on. That is definitely not a problem.
I think this is a good start but what will really become a game changer is imbedding AI accelerator into a xbox hand held that has strong windows compatability. Bring first party games to it like GTA6 and they would outsell ps5 in short order but I also don't think that will likely happen in time for gta 6. So great potential but probably going to miss the mark by a year or two.
This makes me consider a Galaxy Fold as my next phone. 🤔
