Funnily enough, I have both consoles, but still think both of them are good machines in 2024. Yes, the Series S lets you play more up to date, but since the Xbox One is still getting some games, it does actually give you a good idea to get the games that still play on the Xbox One S on a disk then only get the solely only next gen games for the Series S.

we bought this console somewhere in 2017 and its running amazing. there is a little bit of dust in the small holes on the top but it doesn't really affect anything ( I play frotnite with the controller)

Here’s a quick tip for playing with a Xbox One s if you wanna become good at the game on an Xbox one I would recommend changing your settings and if you play on exponential change it to linear just go to settings and click on the icon that has a picture of a controller and find it and that’s where you mostly want to change your settings. Just look up a video of Best settings for controller that should help.👌👍

Dude I just got the series X for Christmas and have had the Xbox one s since 2017 and it’s still fine, yes I’m not using fit anymore but you shouldn’t be complaining because for me it works just fine

If I’m gonna be honest, I have a Xbox one S as well. I play KBM on it. I’m pretty good. My mechanics are really good and I’ve won some gliders and skins off tournaments on it not bad.
Don't buy it for minecraft, it takes like 20+ minutes to load thr game

I use this for Xbox 360 Games. But the FPS drops sometimes which gets annoying so I just end up going back to the Xbox 360 to actually play the game just fine. Also in Call of Duty Black Ops 2 it doesn't vibrate the controller like on the Xbox 360.
So I use this console to this day and I have no problems with it doesn't lag and over all pretty good I do recommend

I recommend a new hard drive that is a SSD for your One s, trust me every thing will be waaaay faster. The HDD drive in your One S is very old and after a while the disk inside the HDD drive will degrade over time and that’s way your One S is so slow, I hope this helps😅
