Hello Joe, thank you for posting the videos of your GTS! It helped me a lot in deciding what version of Panamera I wanted. I am now the proud owner of a 2013 Panamera GTS:) Cheers brother!
Thanks Joe! I’m impressed!!! What a difference between the valves being closed and open - really is a “fun” switch. Definitely worth the upgrade, would love some flybys and maybe even a launch from outside the car! Can’t wait for mine to arrive and be installed.
Hello, the wheels are HRE RC100 (Monoblock Forged) in matte black. Front Wheels: 20"x9.5", ET51 Rear Wheels: 20"x11.5", ET55 Front Tires: 255/40 ZR 20 Rear Tires: 295/35 ZR 20 I love the look!
Hey Joe, I have a 2014 Panamera GTS and was thinking about this setup but want to confirm did you use the fabspeed resonator delete full kit that mounts from 2 exhaust pipes that go into the stock exhaust and replaces the tubes after the resonator all the way back to the hanging brackets and bolt to the stock mufflers behind the bumper or just cut off the resonator and bolt in the x pipe?
Hello, it is the Resonator Bypass X-pipe that goes between the cats and the stock mufflers: www.fabspeed.com/porsche-970-panamera-gts-resonator-bypass-x-pipe-2010-2016/
I have a 2014 GTS and was thinking about doing this. Did you need to cut off the factory pipes or were they bolted on? You said it took about 2 hours to do the install. Did the fabspeed kit come with the clamps to bolt on and not require welding? Thanks for the input.
This required cutting of the OEM pipes before the muffler. There is enough clearance to use a manual exhaust cutter. The kit comes with all the necessary clamps and associated hardware. It took a while because I was working on my back while the car was on jack stands, but it wasn't difficult. It would have been much faster with 2 people as the midpipe is pretty heavy and awkward to handle while laying on the ground.
I have the 970 turbo without the sports exhaust button but I have the fabspeed Maxflow performance exhaust. It sounds good but nowhere as loud as yours. I'd like a little more volume and some snaps and pops. My only issue it that not having the button but with the x pipe, would mine be loud all the time or only in sport and sports plus.
There is a button on the center console right below the spoiler button that looks like a dual exhaust tip - that's the button that us used to open and close the valves. I think if you are in sport mode, the valves are open by default as part of that mode (if you press the exhaust button, the flaps will close).
@@XxBringBackThePastxX Nice! I look at the exhaust button as a way to make the car quiet which I find useful during early morning or late night start ups. Otherwise, my exhaust is always in loud mode.

Beautiful! Lucky man!!!
Wow dude the opened valve just makes it sound so beastly! Excellent mod! Gotta give me a ride one day!
Thanks! Let's go for a ride someday soon!
@@TheLifeofJoeLee cool

same issue with my 2015 S6, windows up really quiet. window down with exhaust open it's quiet.
Ok, need that.

Only x pipe ? And rest is stock
Yes, the only modification to the exhaust is the x-pipe.
Was a tune needed for the upgrade? Sounds great!
Thanks! No tune was needed. This upgrade doesn't impact the O2 sensors or the exhaust valves.
What's the power increase?
I'm not sure how much this mod increased power, but it certainly made the car more enjoyable to drive.
Hey Joe,
Do you think you could take some drive by videos?
Also, how long did it take to get to you from the day you ordered it?
Silly question but does the Fabspeed X-Pipe remove the stock catalytic converters or those come more in the front and are not removed?
The x-pipe is behind the catalytic converters. The OEM catalytic converters remain intact with this mod.
Are the wheels still for sale?
Hey I have a 2015 Porsche Panamera GTS wit PSE and would be interested in the X pipe how much did it cost ?
The x-pipe retails for $1885. It cost me a little over $2k shipped. I installed it myself - It took me about 2 hours.
@@TheLifeofJoeLee hey do you mind sharing where you purchased the part from please?
@@franklinuzoukwu2165 I purchased the xpipe directly from fabspeed: www.fabspeed.com/porsche-970-panamera-gts-resonator-bypass-x-pipe-2010-2016/
I have a 2016 Panamera GTS, how do u open and close the valves?? Excuse my ignorance

@@TheLifeofJoeLee so I guess I’ve had it on since the beginning lol 😂 sport mode and exhaust button pressed

May I know the wheels sizes and the offset?
Hi Kelvin, the front wheels are 20"x9.5" et50 and the rears are 20"x11.5" et55.
What type of rims are these?
@@RichardSchouteren They are HRE RC100. They are for sale. If you are interested, let me know.
