I travel a lot and my job requires me to to go different place every few months. I’ve been using Mac Air because most windows laptops couldn’t beat it’s perfomance and battery life. If Microsoft could compete in both performance and battery life, I would switch over, cause sometime I want to play some games on Steam.
You could just install windows on your MacBook and be done with it. Why wait until Microsoft delivers more or less identical hardware if you‘ve already got it?
Battery performance isn't about system but hardware. The software is important, but the X86 architecture, that most Windows laptops use has poor battery performance, and ARM, that Apple M series use, and the new Snapdragon X Elite (most of the Copilot+) has a extremely better battery and performance while unplugged

Not so wild when you realise that M3 has no fans and has a small body and X Elite runs at 3-4 times power draw than MacBook Air. And it's even less impressive when you take into account the MacBook Pro lineup, which has M3 Pro, M3 Max and M3 Ultra. Not to mention all of these will be upgraded to M4 series by the end of the year.
And probably you need to connect it to power to get it and as soon as you remove it, it drops. Macs are more power efficient and that’s what makes it amazing. Not just raw performance.
I am also going to pre-order the latest Surface Laptop and replace my Mac mini with it. Not only is Copilot plus PC impressive, but I have always preferred Windows for video games. Since I am subscribed to Shadow, it’s perfect for me-plenty of power and battery life to last a long time without charging, while still having access to my Windows in the cloud for gaming.
The thing is: it’s an ARM CPU, you’ll have the same problem gaming on it because most of the games are designed to run on a x86 architecture. There will probably be an emulation layer, however it’ll cost some performances

The MacBook killers are finally here, Apple has had the ARM lead for long now (love them, not shy to say im an Apple fan boy) but competition is good and maybe this will push Apple to be more innovative.
Imo its worth to compare them as long as they cost the same. So , if the windows laptop provides more for the same price, then it is potentially a better product even if the other one isnt at its full potential, because then you gotta pay much more. That said, this is not the case since... that windows laptop costs more than the mac. A 699$ macbook m1 air is slower but still outperforms (in some specific appliactions) this windows laptop because of optimization. Arm windows needs more to compete.

Really want that laptop, but you making negative videos towards companies discourages me. I use Apple products, but I also want Windows and Android products. Problem is those users are the most negative people online, if you want Apple users to switch to the brand you like, you better show good impressions. The MacBook killers are finally here, Apple has had the ARM lead for long now (love them, not shy to say im an Apple fan boy) but competition is good and maybe this will push Apple to be more innovative.

Imo its worth to compare them as long as they cost the same. So , if the windows laptop provides more for the same price, then it is potentially a better product even if the other one isnt at its full potential, because then you gotta pay much more.
That said, this is not the case since... that windows laptop costs more than the mac. A 699$ macbook m1 air is slower but still outperforms (in some specific appliactions) this windows laptop because of optimization. Arm windows needs more to compete.
This would've been a monumental time for Android users but Microsoft didn't go forward with Android apps on Windows.

Really want that laptop, but you making negative videos towards companies discourages me. I use Apple products, but I also want Windows and Android products. Problem is those users are the most negative people online, if you want Apple users to switch to the brand you like, you better show good impressions.
(I still want Windows though because they at least have less users bragging about their products)
(I know the reason is the users because I remember, I used to love Samsung phones, I wanted one in the future. Not only is the Surface's design clearly just a MacBook, I'm convinced he had an android logo over the apple logo because it's not even a MacBook. The cover looks strangely similar to the surface, and the hinge looks wrong. Not only that, but there's no apple outline.
I have tried a lot laptops of windows but after some time they become slow .. could be many reasons like virus etc .. but after using 6 laptops of different companies i shifted to macbook and now it doesnt get slow at all
