I can't believe I never thought of using the can to extend hitboxes and use it with ftilt to 2 frame. Excellent video, I love playing duck hunt and it seems there aren't that many players as of now
sekai doggo!!! this is honestly the best guide for the character and your recent win at ultra hard made me notice you, you're super cool and hope you keep pushing the character as it is super fun to watch :D y saludos desde mx!
Aw, thank you so much! I wanted to simplify my perspective on the character so more people will feel comfortable to try them out, hope it worked that way 😁
He’s was my smash 4 main but he felt so different in ultimate but I wanna get good with him again. Took 4 years to find a main and it turned out to be my smash 4 main again and ken
I only just a couple of days ago got smash and there was only a few people i really wanted to learn that being duck hunt little mac and ganondorf and i learned ole ganondork and mac so duck hunt it is
I would really enjoy making something fresh, since I feel I learned a lot during these two years... Not sure which topic should I cover now, I feel this guide works pretty well for starters. Any suggestions?
Honestly, default controls for XABY are great since you have easy access to jump + specials, you'll definitely need it for short hop cans and gunmen, making your movement super swift! Any trigger on jump might help you for attack cancels or rising aerials if you struggle to get them otherwise.
@@sekaidoggo7610 im back with another question after playing a couple of weeks and trying to improve my Duck Hunt, and I think this is an important question: Smash Stick or Tilt Stick? I’ve been mainly playing using the smash stick, but I’m not sure if that’s the right way to go or not. Is using Tilt Stick better than sticking with Smash Stick?
@@Generic_Doodles Down angled ftilt makes tilt stick extra worth! Try to practice it by pointing the stick to the diagonals, and you'll be surprised how reliable it is
Every attack with an angle larger than 90° will make the can go to the other way. That includes every bair in the game, and some vertical knockbacks like some up airs and down airs.
Not that much to be honest, but a Can guide overall would be extremely useful because of how many mechanics that move alone has. And maybe some niche strings with Duck Hunt's fair, and some extra usages for dair, nothing that crazy I feel. This guide is the baseline to setup all the basics, you can go freestyle with most of this :)

Ain’t a single duck hunt tutorial better than this one. Thank you so much.
Yo, thank you so much!

Any suggestions?
Maybe a more in-depth combo guide going over some more general flow charts/ bread and butter stuff? Just a thought but could be cool
Is it ok if I don’t use the c stick for tilts?
Yeah it's fine, it might just be a little harder to do it quickly without any misinput.
Long live duck hunt
