I can't stress enough on how gold these videos are. The music fits thematically, the visuals are bright and easy to see/understand, the editing is quick but high quality, the voice overs are calm and informative but not monotone. These videos couldn't get any better imo, good work pushblock keep it up!
Saying it again, when a gyro is normally thrown (not launched from its spinner) it knocks enemies in the direction you are facing. So if you plan on using it to catch ledge options to scoop them into your up smash, face away from the ledge first. This can also lead to some stage spikes if their recovery is booty enough. Also, fun fact. When ROB is holding his gyro (not another ROB’s) he can use down b to start spinning it again. Good if you need one spinning on stage, but overall more one of those “just let him do that it makes sense” changes.
Good analysis except for not using the rotor as a reflector. As long as you don't abuse it, it never fails to unpleasantly surprise people, and if you are mindful of your positioning, even if they see it coming they won't be able to respond to it.
No I think his analysis is good. It may work on unexperienced players but the risk reward against a good player is simply never worth it. If you get the reflect (which is basically a hard read) you might get a kill but if you miss, the lag is gigantic and you are gonna get hard punished.

My main bot buddy!! As a R.O.B. main, this was great! I learned a pretty good amount! I really want to try that Burner Dash. Sounds tricky, but the idea of full air speed brings me back to his Brawl days, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
my brother plays pyra/mythra a lot and when he uses pyra's blazing end (the sword throw) i always try to reflect it using side b, it may be a waste of time but it's always hilarious to see that look on his face when the move that was gonna kill me goes for him instead
I think it's worth noting that gyro toss is his fastest out of shield option. That being said you have to get one in your hand first and it'll miss on characters that can low profile when they land like pika

Full charge only goes farther, and is weaker everywhere else. Just picking the gyro up a regular tossing does more damage than full charge.

i randomly picked up ROB when i was really struggling to find a character i enjoyed playing, and he turned out to be my favorite character in the game. It's funny because I had him as a secondary in Sm4sh and yet never considered him in ultimate until picking him incidentally in an arena match.

as a ROB main, i'd argue that his up special is one of my favourite things about him. sure, it doesn't have a hitbox and it's not too difficult to keep knocking him away until he runs out of fuel, but compare it to literally every other fuel-based recovery in the game: it has enormous range, is extremely maneuverable, and can be cancelled into normals. in fact, because he can cancel into normals, he has the highest and longest recovery in the game through the use of back air and fluttering. plus, because it's so maneuverable, easy to control, and lasts for an absurd amount of time, it can make up for it's weaknesses without too much difficulty. it may not be the fastest or safest recovery in the game, but it's still easily my favourite recovery in the game.

I know way less about this game (and ROB) than you, but I'd put his power at 4/5, man hits hard with a lot of moves and a lot of combos where even the individual moves aren't that bad damage-wise

It's a little more vague than last time, but I still think so. That's why I'm trying to relearn smash Bros because I've been playing DQB2 since it came out. I keep doing miss inputs to the point where trying to roll, I got a perfect shield. I lost that match. In case your wondering, I was joker against Incineroar. ...with spirits on, I had a 27% crit, he had...Akuma. only level 6 too. But, if Nintendo's slip up is what you meant about good news, then good news I have. I'd rather not look at an exact release date unless Nintendo said it, because it's more surprising this way. That's why I avoid leaks. Fake or real. 😁
as a R.O.B. main, I can say that the murder blender's reflect is way better than you think it is. especially since it A) comes out damn-near instantly, B) suspends you in the air (so as long as you're not under the platform while recovering it's not a terrible option for heavy projectiles), and, most importantly, C) pisses off Mega Man players a hell of a lot
It's a shame these videos take so long to make. They are EXCELLENT and a best case scenario would be if they always came out the first of the month or something. Though that would be a 6 year journey to do the whole roster, goddamn.

Recharging and canceling the animation also puts the gyro away, effectively removing it from being able to be used against you.
Rob's one of those rare character that are fun to play and fun to watch at the same time
