I'm slightly confused as to the format. The toaster they picked as the best is the one they just ate undercooked after one try, and used the others being dry that they toasted twice as an excuse for why they are bad? The show either casts people in a bad light by framing them as two grown adults functionally unable to operate a toaster, or they just aren't testing people.
If I was young and buying my first toaster after moving out, the couple of experiences I had as a kid wouldn't have been enough to see if more expensive toasters were worth it. Video could have been useful if it compared ease of cleaning, the evenness of toasting both sides, larger slots to fit in etc.

Just use an air fryer. It toasts faster.

Only three toasters is not much of a selection.

Not exactly fair. Should have adjusted each toaster to toast at about the same result levels, no matter it's individual setting. Double toasting is always going to be an issue.

What a useless BS test ! People, you don't need an overpriced toaster, it's all about the settings and the bread itself
