As someone born to Namibian parents taken in by Zambia during our liberation struggle I want to say thank you sir for the help you gave to liberate my country. I used to be ashamed that my birth place on my birth certificate is a camp in Zambia, I never understood why my parents didn't write down Lusaka or any city in Zambia like other parents had, now I know it is as a reminder that there were Africans out there who cared for their brothers and sisters enough to take them in, and help them attain freedom. My heart will forever be drawn to Zambia (Zambian by birth, Namibian by descend). I hope we the younger generations can learn from leaders like Dr Kenneth Kaunda (a real servant of the people) and hopefully take the dreams they had for Africa and turn them into reality.

Kenneth Kaunda, a man with a big heart, everyone loved him, Zambia gained their independence in 1961, he loved being among his people his motto was do unto other as you would have them do unto you, WOW he was put in prison by the white colonization, love the music and dance, even the young men wore his style of clothing, he helped shaped his country into something wonderful.. THANKS FOR SHARING Kenneth Kaunda story, I felt as if I knew him.

No intelligent person takes that bullshit seriously. We're not same and that's common fact which is not about to change because of your feelings. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that. Also I wouldn't take all the bullshit in bible seriously. Theism is not rational.

@Mwaniki Mwaniki, agree, Indians treat Africans like garbage when they go to India, they also treat Africans this way on the continent, I live in America and trust me, they think they are superior to Blacks every where. Socially, I find them very awkward people
Lastly, have you noticed ALL of a sudden how all these foreigners want to profess their love for Africa and its culture?
They all know that there's a new Scramble for Africa and its resources, China, the U S, Russia and Europe are all trying to get ahead of each other for favor.
My concern is that the population of Africa is so young they are now very easily persuaded and impressionable. Many of them are buying into this new western/Chinese propaganda of "We Are All One people in the world"...and "Africa is for the world".
This is very dangerous for a number of reasons, the majority of people on the continent still are not prospering from the resources within each Nation.
Before Africa or any country on that continent to start saying we welcome everyone they first need to make sure that their country and its citizens are all very economically and educationally prosperous.

Mwansa, KK is very revered in Tanzania to this day. He forged an outstanding relationship with other nationalists such as Julius Nyerere for the liberation of the Southern part of Africa including the then Southern Rhodesia, Mozambique, Angola and Namibia. Most political activists and opposition leaders from Apartheid South Africa fled to Tanzania by way of Zambia and lived underground - my church ministered an underground refugee camp where Samora Machel lived. Nelson Mandela traveled on a Tanzania passport to promote ANC before he was arrested on his return. Eduardo Mondlane was killed by a bomb hidden in an envelope in Dar-es-salaam. Graca Machel taught in Bagamoyo. TZ after returning from college in Portugal. Leaders such as Augustino Netto, Robert Mugabe and KK were regulars in Tanzania in their effort to abolish apartheid and liberate the parts of Africa which were still under occupation. Just wanted to say he was a great team player and the work of liberation could not have taken place without the support of his neighboring Tanzania; it was a huge task and we will always credit Kaunda and Nyerere. I am happy to hear all the positive news of the with a BIG heart! May God his outstanding legacy.

I heard that our struggle for liberation was fully supported by K K of Zambia. Just imagine in his old age he came to the funeral of Nelson Mandela, such a man can never be forgotten by all people of Africa, he is one of our ancestors who came to this world to liberate us as black people oppressed by the whites of Britain, France, Portugal, etc. I would never liken him to Ghandi who hated our black people when he was in South Africa during apartheid years. Messaged by Faustina Daina Chileshe The woman who have inherited his Followers. Help me to them. I was not part of your World, and I am following to concur by knowing all those who were part of him and to all those who loved his leadership before he died on 17th June 2021. This is my first communique to his past loved ones.

For me he was the greatest African leaders in Africa and we thank him for attending the state funeral of our first President Mzee Jomo Kenyatta in 1978 and visited Kenya in 1980 to meet with his friend the late President Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi. Lots of love from Kenya.

KK - as he is affectionately known, led Zambia from 1964 to 1991. Kenneth Kaunda and the late Julius Nyerere (Tanzania), Nelson Mandela (African National Congress: ANC), Oliver Tambo, Sam Nujoma (South West Africa People's Ororganization of Namibia), and Robert Mugabe (Liberation Front of Mozambique: FRELIMO) worked tirelessly to liberate the continent and Southern Africa in particular from European Colonialism of the Remainance of the British Empire and against Apartheid (Jim Crow Segregation Laws) of the All-White Fascist Dutch Afrikaaner Regime of the Boers.
