You haven't done research on this man. He is a despicable human being that is responsible for burning alive his political opponents while in prison. The media is trying to make his history go away so you will have to go several pages deep. I was alive when it happened and if you actually research it you will be shocked and disappointed, as I was.
Peace be with you, Evan. I would like to take this moment to express my deepest gratitude to you and to the person who requested this video from you of the icon. As a South African I must say how deeply humbling it is to go back in time and be able to see our great late statesman in action. God bless you.
"A man who changes his principles according to who he is dealing with, is not worthy to lead a nation". Now that's a thorn in today's African leaders!!!!
As a South African that lived trough apartheid and our struggle I am super proud of this video. Thank you foe telling the world about our father Nelson Mandela. Tata Madiba

@@AMTSA1 It is very likely he never could assent to what was claimed by those of a Christian church that would use oppressive ways to dominate others. And still being relevant, is thereby often used as parallels to related to the present-day churches behaviors.) The working of God is in the realm of the conquering of this world's prince that holds death as his ultimate sway for domination. Therein, the spirit that is after reconciliation and balancing of relations will always stand upon the dust that is the mindset of conquering by oppressing others. It doesn't matter who does it. Such dust is always falling as a powerless base that must bow to holding above itself the greater nature that goes beyond this world's physical focus and finds its health in a posterity that is wholesomely for all in harmony. Will it ever be perfected on Earth. No. Yet, One's Spirit goes beyond this and is not centered on securing justice it a space time realm that is limited, short of the glory and full nature of God's eternal "realming"; and rather lives beyond that perspective's 'reach' of understanding. As Jesus said, "There is one that will judge you", and he pointed to the one they said they believed in. In the balance of coherently balanced thinking and relating, some measure of 'justice' can reach into this world's happenings. Whether those who wish to dominate here like it, or not. Yet it does subject itself to being constrained by the limits of the things that we here and now that can assuredly register with our limited sensing systems to record as being done. In some sense it may be worth noting, 'done' is inherently contrary to the notion of eternal life in God's infinite realm short of God's timelessness of being that is 'from always to always' the same perfectly balanced, healthy One. I have his Sunday Times tribute special still. A whole paper just on him... Even all the adverts. Never before and never again shall it be that such will happen.
Nelson Mandela, affectionately referred to by his clan or family name, Madiba, would have turned 100. The legacy of this iconic leader lives on in the hearts of a nation and a global community who find inspiration and hope from the way he lived his life and led his country. To celebrate his 100th birthday we reflect on just a few of the things he taught us about leadership and change. When you find a cause worth fighting for you become passionate and passion fuels the fires of perseverance. Opposed to the policies of his country’s white minority government, Madiba led a non-violent action against apartheid in South Africa. It was a choice that landed him in prison for 27 years. He emerged from incarceration and became South Africa’s first ever black president. It was the first time Mandela himself was able to vote in his own country. What a great leader Madiba
This sounds weird but thank you so much for following in his foot steps. It proves he has had an actual impact on people, more than just being a charming man that people popularize and agree with.
"Demand respect" when you know who you are and whose you are, that is when you begin to understand your worth and what follows is...allow no one to steal that knowledge about you by belittling you.
I like how he does not let people choose his associates all relationships are different just because u and a individual don't get along doesn't mean any of the are bad people,,
This moment is one of the greatest of my life, to hear Mandala speak. I just discovered this video which I never dreamed existed. Mandala has been my lifelong role model even during his years in prison. His legacy to Earth will continue into the future.
I have always taught my family to be humble honest and respectful to everyone no matter who they are. It begins at home and it will flow from there. Love this man. This should be shown in every Parliament House around the world at the beginning of question time, they might learn something. ❤️🇦🇺
Great communications from a great mind. Mr. Mandela uses words with great precision and finely directed accuracy, hitting the targets he desires to hit, squarely in the middle, no matter what the question. In his answers, he is totally committed to being true to himself. This takes a knowledge of one's self that I believe can only be achieved from one's intimate relationship with his Creator. It doesn't take him long to respond to the questions directed to him; but he deliberates inside of himself for a slightly paused moment of time, his answer, before opening his mouth to speak. It (his answer) is never hurried, but it doesn't take long for him to deliver to you, a heavily, profound statement that coaxes your deepest admiration for the man resulting in an explosive reaction of 'standing ovation' applause from the audience. Thank you, so very much, Mr. Carmichael, for posting this interview. I just happened by and clicked on it...most enriching 17 minutes I've ever spent.
I absolutely love this segment, and every other conversation by the Honorable .Mr. President Nelson Mandela! Thank God for your heart that your will to always educate us about the humanity of people, that is still so dishonorably dismissed, discarded, and utterly disavowed in America! I miss you, Sir!
His voice will stand the test of time and his words will apply to so many situations in years to come. A gentleman in any situation. A wonderful example against injustice.
I really liked the point about fighting for your own dignity. I think I'll start doing that rightaway! All good points by this humble human being. I loved the movie Invictus, his leadership is warm, encouraging and inspiring.
Thank you Even for great videos. Nelson Mandela’s character and his philosophy will live on this planet forever. This kind of people never die but ever living. RIP His soul. 🙏
Thanks Evan for the Beautiful reminder of our father. Watching Mandela has made realize how much the Lord loves us to have blessed by having him our leader. Timeless memories of this humble God of the earth. Being humble is a virtue.
Thanks a lot for posting the words of this great leader. What amazes me is the great ability of this man who was able to exercise forgiveness while in prison. That's why he should be considered not only the great leader of the century, but also a great human being, regardless all the mistakes he himself admitted committing many times as a man. And, his sense of humour made him so charismatic as well as showing his wisdom.
My parents went to South Africa for their 20th anniversary a few years back and visited Robben island (the tour guides were former prisoners there with president Mandela) and even to this day the tour guides get emotional talking about the day Nelson was released because it meant that much to them A truly inspiring man
Had the honour of visiting that prison! Was overcome by emotion but the tour guides who were also prisoners there made it easier to handle for some of us, I believe they deliberately crack jokes to break the tension and the seriousness!
One of the great man on earth. Fought against apartheid. Very difficult to spend a week with loneliness. How he had spent so many years in jail is a miracle.
Listening to these points, as a South African, I firmly believe that there is no better time to be alive than this very day. We have been emancipated beyond what we are aware of. And of which I will take full advantage of in my own capacity.
One of the most powerful, potent and timely compilations / messages I have ever heard. Thank you, Madiba. Thank you, Evan Carmichael. Thank you, God. ♥️
#10 Speak with Conviction is my favorite. If it means something to you, be confident in what you want. Confidence pushes greatness to light. Thank you for the amazing video on the late Nelson Mandela. He's one of the greatest of this lifetime.
There is always two sides to everything. The families and friends of those who were killed by his instruction, my have a different opinion. Bombing innocent citizens is hardly "heroic". Committed communists are not Christians in my opinion.
Salute to this man... Was imprisoned 27 years for fighting Apartheid and when released did not show bitterness at all. He became the President and was not power hungry so did not seek re-election for a 2nd term even though he would win again for sure. Correctly focused on reconciliation between blacks and whites to unite South Africa.
First time ever watched speech of this Hero. Today onwards he is one of my hero. Thanks for sharing a great speech of man full of wisdom, courage and honor. RIP Mr. Mandela.
I love Mandela so much! When he and Winnie visited Jamaica within first year of his release from prison they were going to stay at the hotel that was next door to my office! I was on leave. I came to work so I could go stand on the sidewalk and see them pass. It was highly emotional for me. I visited South Africa in 2016, my first and only visit to Africa .it was the trip of a lifetime! I thought Jamaica was a microcosm of South Africa...
Wow Evan, thanks so much for putting this together. Mandela was a true leader & statesman of the highest degree. He knew who he was and what he believed and stood for and as a result was able to act & speak with apparent fearlessness.
Mandela, what a man, what a mind, what humility, we can all learn a thing or two from his ability to listen first and respectfully respond to any questions. Still in awe in 2021..
This has got to be the most influential man who walked god's earth and VERY inspirational I've had the privilege of watching and listening to god 🙏🙏🙏🙏 bless NELSON MANDELA

He looked away and grinned mischievously, patiently waiting for a comeback and when it came, he laughed and shook his hand adding another hilariously unexpected layer to his bit. So subtle but more than enough to send the crowd wild all over again. Lol What a humble yet charismatic and witty character!
Listening to this in 2021. So lucky to have walked the earth at the same time as he did. My absolute hero I wrote essays about at school. Now we have lost many such great human beings...we need people as fearless, forgiving, wise and courageous as him. RIP Madiba
I love this man, he was true statesman who came through imprisonment for the love of his people and land. Celebrating his release in Australia with his countrymen of different colours coming together to celebrate an intuitive, humble and gentleman who transformed his nation. God bless South Africa. ☝🏼🙏🏻🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🇮🇱♥️🇫🇯

Man I loved this man so so much I remember when I was very young I would take his pictures from the drum magazine and keep them in my flip file. He is one of the biggest inspirations in my life. Definitely the best of a very few people who walked this earth. What a man. I love and miss you so much. You'll forever be in our hearts. I will do my utmost best to have a golden heart like yours. Rest in perfect peace and power. Tata Madiba.🕊♥️✨

What a great leader Madiba
wow awesome person!!!!

We come out shiny when polished
I like how he does not let people choose his associates all relationships are different just because u and a individual don't get along doesn't mean any of the are bad people,,
True nobility, leadership, admiration
Oh my God...How wonderful to hear our dear mr Mandela again!
The definition of honesty, intelligence, courage, love and greatness in one man!
Truly exceptional! 😊 #Believe - Feb (from Evan's team)
This moment is one of the greatest of my life, to hear Mandala speak. I just discovered this video which I never dreamed existed. Mandala has been my lifelong role model even during his years in prison. His legacy to Earth will continue into the future.

An African resistant not just a South African.un esprit tout simplement.
I have always taught my family to be humble honest and respectful to everyone no matter who they are. It begins at home and it will flow from there. Love this man. This should be shown in every Parliament House around the world at the beginning of question time, they might learn something. ❤️🇦🇺
💛💛 #Believe - Feb
What a point u make keep up with that
I'm proud to have been on the march against apartheid and for the freedom of Nelson Mandela and the ANC, September 1989.
Wish I was born
Thank you Susan for joining the struggle, you marched for me!! you are a heroine!!!
You're very welcome, glad you liked it. 😊 #Believe - Feb
Wow 🙏💖
Ditto.
Same thing happened to me, Janet. Now I shall listen again.

I absolutely love this segment, and every other conversation by the Honorable .Mr. President Nelson Mandela! Thank God for your heart that your will to always educate us about the humanity of people, that is still so dishonorably dismissed, discarded, and utterly disavowed in America! I miss you, Sir!
Glad to know that Vickie. 😊 #Believe - Feb
His voice will stand the test of time and his words will apply to so many situations in years to come. A gentleman in any situation. A wonderful example against injustice.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. 😊 #Believe - Feb
I really liked the point about fighting for your own dignity. I think I'll start doing that rightaway! All good points by this humble human being. I loved the movie Invictus, his leadership is warm, encouraging and inspiring.

Thanks Evan for the Beautiful reminder of our father. Watching Mandela has made realize how much the Lord loves us to have blessed by having him our leader. Timeless memories of this humble God of the earth.
Being humble is a virtue.
Thanks for watching #Believe :) #BTA1598 Veljko
Thanks a lot for posting the words of this great leader. What amazes me is the great ability of this man who was able to exercise forgiveness while in prison. That's why he should be considered not only the great leader of the century, but also a great human being, regardless all the mistakes he himself admitted committing many times as a man. And, his sense of humour made him so charismatic as well as showing his wisdom.
You're welcome Emilia, glad you liked it. 😊 #Believe - Feb
He certainly was a sly old terrorist fox. I have no problem with his cause but he killed many innocent people. Martin Luther King was the real leader.
"I'm ready to die for my cause".... straight out of SA born in apartheid grew up in freedom
Thanks for the comment and for watching Slim Thug. :) #BTA346 Shine
Evan Carmichael ??
My parents went to South Africa for their 20th anniversary a few years back and visited Robben island (the tour guides were former prisoners there with president Mandela) and even to this day the tour guides get emotional talking about the day Nelson was released because it meant that much to them
A truly inspiring man
Thank you for sharing that with us, much love. 😊💛 #Believe - Feb

"Be humble " , said his mother to Uriah Heep.
There will never be a another Mr. Mandela. Current leaders will never fill those shoes. He was smart, intelligent, dignified and a true gentleman.♥️
We appreciate you for watching. #Believe - Feb
Listening to these points, as a South African, I firmly believe that there is no better time to be alive than this very day. We have been emancipated beyond what we are aware of. And of which I will take full advantage of in my own capacity.
Be humble be kind be helpful..
2021..Always listening to inspirational people to help grow the thoughts and purity of the mind..as per Nelson Mandela 🙏.❤

#10 Speak with Conviction is my favorite. If it means something to you, be confident in what you want. Confidence pushes greatness to light. Thank you for the amazing video on the late Nelson Mandela. He's one of the greatest of this lifetime.

Absolutely true - a "resurrected" spirit of late Mahatma Gandhi
Yeah! 💥
@@dineshsakaria6594 There is no such spirit but the spirit alone that reigned inside Nelson Mandela
There is always two sides to everything. The families and friends of those who were killed by his instruction, my have a different opinion. Bombing innocent citizens is hardly "heroic". Committed communists are not Christians in my opinion.
Loved this. So appreciate that you took the time to present this. It is full of wisdom which we seem to lack today.
Really glad to know that it resonated with you, thank you for watching. 😊 #Believe - Feb

Glad to know that. Thanks for sharing. 😊❤️ #Believe - Feb

Hello Nancy
Wow Evan, thanks so much for putting this together. Mandela was a true leader & statesman of the highest degree. He knew who he was and what he believed and stood for and as a result was able to act & speak with apparent fearlessness.

Evan... sweetheart, I share your material twice a day to over 5 groups. I sincerely thank you for your work, commitment and sharing of such quality material and people both on and behind the stage. This the post I used today.... 'My greatest mentor ... my dad, passed away last night the way he designed, but not before opening my world to this brilliant man - Nelson Mandela, as a young child attending his release rally. Together they [Dad & Madiba, or Tata] taught me social responsibility, advocacy, performance, authenticity and how to eat and enjoy humble pie. 'Daddy, I prayed to my creator that you are welcomed into the next phase of your journey'.

RIP Madiba

We don't care it the cat is black or white, as long as it cashes mice - Nelson Mandela
Love this saying
He didn't say it and did not claim to have said it. It was Deng Xiaoping.
@PUBLIC SAXAPHONE And prefaced it with "as someone said.." hence he, himself, did not claim it.
