      @shermanfirefly5410 2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      @@davidtayo3643 And the betrayal of a close friend is something that many revolutionists have faced. Mao was betrayed by lin biao, Allende by Pinochet, so on and so forth. The road chosen by a revolutionist is harsh, where one was challenged by both the pressure of the capitalist world, and the internal struggle of his own teammates. Along this road, many have succeeded, while many more have fallen. Therefore it is not any race that should be blamed for the failure of a revolution, but rather the conservative forces and corrupted individuals. Like Sankara, Mao, or any communist, we all have faith in the people. Up till today, Africa is still plagued by imperialist influence and echoes of colonialist exploitation. The people need to be educated, motivated, and then united. An idea needs to be understood before it can be supported. Since betrayals are almost bond to occur in revolutions, the best solution is to build an organization that is strong enough to withstand such betrayal. Which, unfortunately, both the Sanbkara and black panther failed to create

    One of the greatest men to ever live. You don't have to be african to know this man is one of a kind.

    I wish more Africans see this, and see how powerful we can be without the ‘aid’ of the outsiders.
    They depend on us for survival, so of course they would kill him if he refuses to go by their con terms. RIP Captain

      I learned about the great soldier of communism in my extracurricular reading in high school. I am a Chinese. Do you still miss this great man in your country?

      As a Chinese, I used to work in Europe. To be objective. People who know modern history generally dislike Britain and France. The world knows Gandhi in India and Mandela in South Africa, but few people know Sankara, a great communist soldier. Especially France, which can't even beat Vietnam, always bullies Africa.

      Sankara and the actual Black Panther party were equally revolutionary, unfortunately there were all brutally murdered by the white imperialist states.
      Hollywood even made the black panther into a incredibely stupid fictional hero movie just to misrepresnt their lagacy

    The fact that everyone knew the coup was coming and Sankara couldn't acknowledge his best friend was going to betray him was so sad.

      Similar situation with Aguiyi Ironsi in 1966 Nigeria when he was clearly warned that his immediate lieutenants were plotting to assassinate him but he downplayed all warnings... eventually they killed him.

    Sankara is a perfect example of what happens to a good and honest person when they succeed in politics. It's a common theme throughout the world. This is why true justice does not rule in todays world.
