I’m not even a 34 fan but these Mines gtrs are quite possibly the most beautifully built jdm cars of all time. I just love the mindset of the company. Just amazing.
Can I just say, the R34, when modified properly, is one of the very best looking cars of all time!? I don't mean beautiful in the way a Miura or E-Type or 250 GTO is, but it's one of those cars that just looks so bloody perfect that you can't help but stare at it for minutes, hours even, and feel a sense of joy. I certainly do. These two are two of the very best looking R34s I have seen! Whoever decided to cosmetically keep them standard and only put that front bumper, and not put a hideous widebody kit and stanced wheels, is an absolute legend. Whoever it is, thank you!
@@uptownsamcv R34 being boxy is what makes it better than the R33 IMO and others opinions too. I think most people would agree, and historical price trends could reflect this opinion too.
“It has a conservative 650 hp” 😂😂 Larry I’m old enough to know 650hp isn’t conservative but I know what you mean given today’s power. Muscle car guy my whole life, but I do love and respect these builds, almost concours builds with extremely tasteful/utilitarian modifications
I definitely remember Best Motoring driving the R34 Mines car back in the day, it's burnt into my memory forever. I also think it did a 56 seconds lap at Tsukuba which is insanely fast.
Ya but they madr sure the japanese cars were faster. Hard to judge how fast it really was based on those videos. Short shifting, sloppy driving, lazy lines and acceleration, thats how they kept other countries from beating them.
The start of the video what it looked like if I’m seeing the finest Katana swords side by side!!! The level of details, art and beauty of Mine’s and Built by Legend!!! I love the philosophy of Mine’s and the Art of Built by Legend 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼❤❤❤
This is a comprehensive art that embodies the uniquely refined aesthetic and the extraordinary perfectionism towards craftsmanship that is characteristic of Japanese.
Two beautiful & cleanest R43 GT-R I have ever seen. They sure do know how to keep it well maintain. And for sure anyone who buys these 2 cars are not going to be driving them weekly but rather storing them away to raise their values and resell them again. Honestly, I would never spend $700k on these 2 cars just for them to be show cars. I like to drive my cars, show them off, rev them up and track them!
Love how they designed the front based on the last JGTC Skyline GT500 contender that Nismo used because that was the last time the RB26 engine was used in the series. The one that followed it received a V-engine and got a more sculpted front (because the banked cylinders meant it can sit the front lower for better aero). However, the V-engine means it doesn't have the heart of a true Skyline GT-R anymore. All it was was just a silhouette with matching headlights and taillights and windows. They could have just put a 350Z body into it (which happened the following year) but it wasn't ready until next season. The "last" Skyline GT-R to ever race in JGTC was early-season-2002.
$700k nissan aint my thing but big respect to MINE'S for dumping this much passion into old nissans. props to anyone who buys this and actually uses it as intended
Essentially he understands that these two Mines are like tuning shop take on limited edition Z tune Nismo R34s that are worth $1mil. True cost of Z Tunes could even be higher since collectors hodl.
Man I am an Evo guy and I am very envious about how these GTRs getting restored and pampered while Lancer Evos withers away with time....damn you Mitsubishi 😢😢😢
The Mines R34 from Best Motoring is one of my favourite cars of all time - not sure it’s $700k favourite though…. These restomods are getting crazy imo.

Read the title to the video and was like, "How on earth could each of these cost $700k to build? As the video kept progrssing I kept saying to myself, "Oh, this is how!" Stunning cars.
Wow! Such attention to detail on the whole build! From the extra reinforced spot welds to the bespoke interior touches! These definitely are the bang for buck compared to a 5 mil+ CRS price tag. Also side note, why are the transmissions so noisy when at idle in the pits? Love the coverage, hope to see more in detail videos!
Out of this world how JDM car culture is breathing new life of appreciation into old cars like the R34. These two examples are far more superior than when they were first released. Incredible!
@RumblesBettr Why be jealous of the car? Just appreciate it like a piece of art 🤷♂️ As for the money, people who've earned it can spend it however the F they want. And actually they make it possible for you to be jealous of the car😉 Without their money these cars wouldn't probably exist.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 I want one badly! I get why somethings are discontinued, however the market is strong for this! Nissan/Nismo imo should continue producing parts, they need to account for cost changes
In my dream one of them is a track built. My favorite racing buckets, rear seat delete, and a clubsport type of cage. My other dream is with it at the Nurbourgring. I envy you.
I'm a little surprised it doesn't have the Nismo MFD. I'm guessing this makes way more than the 1.2bar that the Normal MFD can show. You can see the MFD turn red when it goes above 1.2bar. 7:30
These cars are mouthwatering. But for $700k they cost about the same as the RUF CTR which has a carbon tub chassis and a much more high end interior. I'm sure that won't matter to GT-R aficionados.
I almost thought this was a Gran Turismo photo.
