you can put some canister fillers in various places and bionics will go to the nearest and fill up their o2 reserve via them instead of running around to find small o2 pockets. works really good in my base.
simple way to fix your oxygen problem. Dont abuse the suit bug. the suits have enough O2 for 1 day so build a propper suit station and dont leave them in suits
I second this comment. It's frustrating to see a base full of sour gas, CO2, and poo gas. Should still make it habitable so you don't have so much choas.
Build a long pipe from just above the oil suit area and jettison it out into space. Should be a quick build along your main ladder. That would allow oxygen to trickle down lower and populate more of the base. That plus more o2 scrubbers.
Great video once again! May want to look into 'Critter Pickup Points' so your farms dont overcrowd. (They split the previous drop-off/pickup overflow building in two separate ones). To remove gases, a door crusher logic would only need 2-3 doors and a buffer/filter to get quickly rid of a few tiles of gas every few seconds. (I admit its a bit cheaty)
i dont have this dlc right now but i saw there is gas can in consumables. if my guess right you can use gas canister filler for dupes take oksijen in one go
build some cannister fillers bud, dupes won't run around breathing o2 in random paces if they can go eat a cannister (remember to turn up the holding capacity after you build them)
U could also give them normal atmo-suits, for them to prevent hunting small amounts of oxygen. In that way, they can just get their oxygen from the suit. That's a lot less dangerous😂
@@GrindThisGame I haven't played that DLC yet, but dupes usually breath from their suits. You don't have oxygen in their suits, because you destroyed the oxygen delivery systems.
What about extra docking stations to refill the Atmo suits with oxygen so that they can breathe in the bad areas instead of just letting them tool around in empty suits? Maybe a door limiting the bioinc dupe access to the low oxygen areas when you see they are having breathing problems? Build the flying bot to do the deliveries to help out as well?
I'm sure the devs would confirm if it's a bug or not. But I think it's rather genius and real world based actually. If something needs oxygen, and can more importantly sense where it is WHEN it needs it, I think that's a great mechanic honestly to keep the game from becoming broken. Might need to start start genertaing LARGE amounts of oxygen at all levels of the base now and your gas sinks may need to be REALLY airlocked with suits.

Thanks great tip!
You can set the oxygen fillers to the max 200Kg instead of the default 25Kg as well, and they'll completely refill their oxygen during downtime
@curties I use them in the next episode and they are great!

Do they even breathe the oxygen in the suits though?
@@GrindThisGame i think they did. Because after coming back to base. the oxygen keep pumping into the suits

@@GrindThisGame yes they do if you look the suits have no O2 in them.
You mentioned "Colony Collapse Disorder" at the beginning... are you a beekeeper? I thought we coined that term with our beehives...
Probably something stuck in my head from my biology degree :p
Bottle your O², they will prioritise filling from bottles over taking a breath. It is also much more effective.
Oh nice!

Use horizontal doors between floors with ladders on top and bottom to keep your room and allow them to continue using the ladders.

I'm so used to the old critter drop offs that I often forget the pickup points! Thanks!

They do and it is wonderful.
Those sour gas is a nightmare, that's why i put so many DOUBLE liquid locks these days in between biomes😂
Great idea. This mess was accidental :P

I did and the rock!
You could make a carbon skimmer with water sieve combo to rid the co2 in the under base. It could be a great way to make the o2 drop bellow.
I have one.
Should unequip suits ! Or Built atmo station ... siutes are repleninsch with oxygen
Suits are fine but you don't need stations.

All sound like good ideas.
Maybe it's useful, if you produce food to make it into coal by hatches🤔
You'll need more hatches anyways, if you want to keep on using coal.
I'm mostly coal now.
Give your bionic dupes more downtime. They will fill their oxygen tan̈ks more reliably!
I did! They just seem to fill when near empty not while resting.

It s not a bug. He lost. Période. He s jyst not used to losing.

Yup still learning. Normal dupes don't have this oxygen sipping behavior as far as I know. They go to rich oxygen areas and breathe just fine.
58:37 your power don’t get tune up bcz the room got destroyed…
yup
You're a cool dude
Thanks!
This is not a bug. This is you losing ! 😂😂😂 it happens to the best!!
Next episode I'll be winning like Charlie Sheen.
