Great review! Very detailed nosing and tasting notes. You can buy both + the 10 in a tasting 3 pack called Monsters of Smoke. I favor the An Oa - More complex dram. Thought it was brave of Ardbeg to put a 5yr age statement on the Wee Beastie.
Great review have tried the An Oa, made me laugh in acknowledgement when you said TCP yes love it the medicinal properties. The smoke and the peat is masked in the An Oa I don’t know about the Wee Beastie but the An Oa is more peated that the ten as the PX dulls it down interestingly.

@@WhiskyWars yes I had a good sense of this and later found out this is backed up about PX casks dulling it down by 'master of malt' on here. Imo a bit like how age seems to but the peat us still very much there but is hidden 🤔 Love it.

An Oa! So smooth and one of the finest whiskies. It's not the most complex and it doesn't have the longest finish - but the flavor it's a masterpiece.
