In my hometown we have this thing called the "mino". Supposedly, a spirit / supernatural deity that holds a grudge on you or just is in a mischievous mood, and you just happened to be in its vicinity, will make you go in circles. For example, taking a never ending walk down a staircase or turning a corner into an already passed by territory. The only way to counteract the "mino" is to turn all articles of clothing inside out, that way they get confused and will leave you alone. Also, she's been curse because (probably) she didn't say "I win" 3 times when she warded off that bear at the hitori kakurenbo.
I misread his name as Hiroshi and I instantly thought of Hiroshi from Ao Oni. I wanna believe that hiroshi prolly changed his name to hitoshi and became an investigator to defeat paranormal beings after his traumatic experience idk
16:40 This urban legend is called Kune Kune. This legend is about mysterious apparition that is sometimes seen in the countryside. People in japan called it ''Kune Kune'' which means something that is meandering swaying or twisting and turning. They say you should never look directly at Kune Kune or this will drive you insane.
ASHERUISE Tosiaki (Charles Zeng) Hi! I found that kwaidanjapanese blogspot, too; I found that the kunekune apparently was the subject of a rather meh Japanese film, too. But best source of info actually was to add kunekune as a search to the ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/ & then, of course need to translate the page. ^.^
If anyone is confused why the dude is using -kun to a girl's name, it's a casual way of addressing someone so it can also be used on girls. Think of this version of -kun as a unisex thing like -san
Not much is written in English about the kunekune, but if you do a google search for kunekune ghost, you'll find a blog post on blogspot (kwaidanjapanese) about it. I think I might want to do a translation of the Wikipedia page for kunekune sometime.
found this abt the kunekune "Kunekune Phantom resembling a length of cloth blowing in the wind. It appears in rice fields at noon and kills anyone who gets too close."
It's weird how everyone is Like "Paranormal activity? Meh yesterday's news" seriously you get stuck walking in a loop and you just go "Can't do anything about it just let it pass"....¬.¬
It is because it is made with the same basic program. If you listen, the bears laughter sounded like the sound affect from "Corpse Party" I believe and Mikoto's voice is the same as Aya from "Mad Father." It is simply a sound from the same program and files. Although, the music in this game is sometimes original to its own game and sometimes based off of/is from another game. It is a common sighting you see in RPG Maker type games.
In Freakazoid, do you mean Candlejack as the vill-- Another ghost story! The yokai moves windingly - in a winding way (like the song the long & winding road). Nice that there are modern yokai - always to entertain, I mean harm, possess, & drive the unsuspecting insane!! Boo! ^.^
There's a website called scaryforkids that had a story about that wispy thing. I don't remember what it's called on the site though but it does include a little more information about it. They also have a few more urban legends; both from japan and elsewhere.
It's used for fellow associates, teachers to students, bosses to employees, etc.. Everyone learns it as "the same as -chan but for boys" when it really isn't. It has a different connotation.
Do you have another link to download the game, because no matter what I do I can't run the game. There is message in japanese saying that the game can't be laughed. I followed the instructions exactly how I was supposed but still not working... Is it the rpg2000 that doesn't work or because I have a windows xp PC? . I still managed to put it in japanease but I don't feel like it's working. I've downloaded it many times and opened in different location, dunno if that is necesary I'm just deseperate...
Ask Toshiaki who translated it on tumblr. The only thing I can suggest is making sure to be in Japanese locale and region, unzipping/installing the game while in such mode and having Japanese RTP2000 installed.

If anyone is confused why the dude is using -kun to a girl's name, it's a casual way of addressing someone so it can also be used on girls. Think of this version of -kun as a unisex thing like -san

"Yuka-kan"
Never change, Manly.
Almost thought you were saying: "And now she awakes to be greeded by a mysterious man". I know you said "greeted", but damn. xDDD
Isn't that music from Mogeko Castle during the chase scene? Nice.
Just realized something, When that white.....thing.... was laughing, It sounded like that doll from Desperate Love Feast....Kind've odd but heck.

It's funny, it's now that I recognized the entity in this part, the Kunekune, because I had seen it in _Otherside Picnic_.
There's a website called scaryforkids that had a story about that wispy thing. I don't remember what it's called on the site though but it does include a little more information about it. They also have a few more urban legends; both from japan and elsewhere.

ótima game play, ganhou mais um inscrito para o canal !
why is "-kun" used for Yuka
it's bothering me
ellurdur because a lot of older men refer to younger girls as -kun. For example, teachers do that.
It's used for fellow associates, teachers to students, bosses to employees, etc.. Everyone learns it as "the same as -chan but for boys" when it really isn't. It has a different connotation.
「さん」よりも親しみがある呼び方だと思う
Holy shit it’s a kunekune
