- Dorothy Kilgallen, who was one of the very first female crime reporters before she became a gossip columnist and panelist on "What's My Line?", appeared in this 1936 crime drama "Sinners Take All" with Bruce Cabot and Margaret Lindsay.
Thanks for this!
I only ever saw Dorothy on What's My Line, and I fell in love with her intelligence and determination .
It was a surprise to see her in an acting roll.
Love the fast dialogue and look at 23 year old Dorothy! Awesome stuff.
Thanks for posting this. Lie so many others, the only time I've ever seen her is on What's My Line
D.K. was a little embarrassed by her foray into movie acting. When asked about it by a young producer just before "Breakfast With Dorothy and Dick" went on the air one morning in the '60s, she scoffed about believing such a thing, although she didn't deny it. Thanks for posting this. Fun stuff.
Awww lil baby Dorothy!
She was a fascinating woman, and all the conspiracies about her death and final year are interesting. I have never seen her acting before, just on WML, so this is a great little time capsule.
DK in this clip:
"I'm a gentleman now!"
LOL
Interesting clip and interesting channel. Do you have any Donna Reed news or interview clips?
It's not a cameo since she's playing a fictional character, not herself
