G Day Lance, I can feel a compo claim coming, that cut has to worth at least 6 figures, keep them coming they brighten up a dark cold evening in the UK cheers Barry
yes, Perkins 3 152 and I want to change it because my Fe 35 has a petrol engine, sorry, but this is my first tractor and I'm looking for information everywhere. Your videos are very interesting
g,day lance just found your channel while i was looking at parts online . cos i feel the time is right to start a restore on my old te20 which has been sitting for a lot of years. so long that i cant remember what its problems were when it was parked up . i also have an old nuffield 3/42 which i still use for some jobs but it has taken a back seat since i lashed out and bought a brand new iseki tg6370 with a loader ( handy as should of had one years ago )anyway i think i will drag the old fergie into the shed out of the weather and start to go through it . i seem recall starter problem and clutch problem dizzy is pretty sad too so they will be points to look at first . cant decide weather to split the tractor or wait until i get it started to work out the clutch problems .johno. p.s. i also have a J1 and a J3 bedford that are both projects i have not touched yet , probably enough to keep me busy until i am 135 years old.
and what model will be suitable for the Perkins 3 152 engine? I have the engine but without the wheel. Thank you very much for the information. Greetings from Poland and happy new year
It is definitely for bigger bits that get past the pre-cleaner. The engine causes a pulse in the air flow and the ‘ducks bum’ opens and closes and the particles fall out. It is found on a lot of air cleaner assemblies, especially Donaldson. Any water vapour that the tractor might suck in is burnt. Enough water will bend a con rod.
łukasz Hello, I have a Ferguson Fe 35 and I want to change the engine to Perkins 3 152 and I have a question whether the flywheel from a petrol engine will fit.
g day lance - odd question here - pick ur brain time! on the t20 the gearstick is prone to selector wear and annoying screwdriver filler cap fiddles!- I remember a local farmer reckoned it jumped selectors due to the design of the stick - the driver had a tendency to grab and lift /pull to change gear - so he removed the top end bulb - tapped it and fixed a fordson major knob on instead - his thoughts were that the modified drivers grip would now give a tendency to press down and move the stick reducing or eliminating selecor jumping - any thought your end? cheers nick
Nice to see you kept the original clamps.👍
Thanks 👍
Great job Lance, that was one dirty air cleaner!
Yes it was!
Thanks Lance ,
Fitting the foot throttle should be interesting!
I have a 135 to copy from.
Merry Christmas 🎄🎁 Mark D. Florida
Thankyou, Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas
I was taught many years ago. Always put a little amount og silicone on all rubbermounts so that i stays soft. Thought you should know. 👍🇩🇰
Thanks for sharing!
Great video Lance. Kinda neat that it has a vacuum meter on the dash for the air filter. Never heard of that before.
Have a great day.
Not common but being industrial it was possibly an idea for dusty conditions.
@@BundyBearsShed 👍🏻👍🏻
Merry Christmas Lance
Thanks Darren, Merry Christmas.

You and me both with the many projects. On the bright side we will never be able to say we are bored and have nothing to do. 😁

This is a 3.152
Hi Lance. I’m sure the ducks bum is for water drainage ?
And the dust particles as I understand it. We shouldnt have any water in the paper element filters.

Well why not I suppose, I have welded up the standard one to stop it jumping out.
