If the GonePoo overheated, consider removing the battery from the unit, putting a dummy battery (fleabay, the usual places) and wire the dummy battery's wire to a hand holder with an integrated battery.

thanks for the vids as allways! i dunno about the scruffy look for you ,are ya gonna commit to a full snack saver and chin warmer? as the owner of a full blown soup strainer i feel the need to make you aware you work with fire and rotating mechanical devices both of which do not play well with longer facial hair.

@@aserta I've never dealt with a GoPOS myself, but when I use my phone to watch a livestream, I always plug it into the charger, and it stays at 100% and doesn't heat up - it will even charge it up fully if I start with a lower charge. I hate it when a streamer's phone or camera dies before their stream is supposed to be over.
If GoPOS's have a jack for an external power source, I'd try using that.

You will note here the father-son enablement dynamic when purchasing old machinery. This is why addiction to buying money pits (old cars, motorcycle, tractors etc.) runs in families. Younger men will inevitably end up inheriting their father's projects leaving them the proud owners of rusting family heirlooms. "Dis was your grandfather's tractor," he'll one day say to a child completely bemused by an archaic bit of rusty machinery "never ran quite right." 😊

Nice video... I laughed when you chose 4 cans of starting fluid. Also, I laughed when I saw the bungee cord holding your license plate. No key, improvise. Fuel not flowing, adapt. Power steeing not working, overcome. Entertaining, as always!!!

Wess brings back lots of memories. Me and two older friends use save old tractors and equipment all the time years ago. One passed away and I moved . Appreciate the memories.

As a fellow tech, I can sense the anxiety as you want to dive right in and diagnose instead of worrying about what kind of pump it has. Miss seeing these kinds of videos as that's what got me hooked on your channel many moons ago. Good work.

Nothing beats working with Dad. I remember those days and have passed it down to my boys and daughter. We work very well together. All 3 are engineers as well.

Wes, your videos are always interesting. Having some experience in fixing engines, I can follow what you are doing. Neat to see the two of you working together, my Dad taught me what I know about engines as a kid at home. Spent my career as a teacher, kept my vehicles running, keep up the good work.

It was fun to watch this. It was these types of videos that originally brought me to the channel. It's really great to see you working with your dad too.

That was fun, Wes. No issue following what's going on. The times spent with our Dad's are priceless.

It so nice to see you and your dad working together. Remind me of working with my dad. But unfortunately lost him in 2005. Keep up the good work 👍

Really enjoyed seeing you and your dad interact. You guys should do this more!! I never got to do cool stuff like this with my dad. I envy your family closeness. Dad was a WWII veteran which affected him immensely. We were never close...God bless you and your family Wes...Peace !!
