Full body exercise I do daily . On my bed. .. then I do 2 min rebounder.. .. I work in 4 exercise to lose belly fat. Measurements is now 30” at belly button. . . I drink lemon n water (use detox 22 lbs in 14 days). A stranger compliment me for my legs! A friend complimented me for the muscles 💪 in my arm. Strength in my upper back. ...
I feel this all deep in my core. I have 7 children under the age of 9, including my 11 month old twins. I have to remind myself every day that my provision and my capacity is the daily manna from Heaven. Just like the Israelites, I can't store it up for tomorrow but that I must trust Jesus to provide strength and joy each and every day. I urge every woman to dig deep in GODLY relationships to find gospel encouragement and remind us that God is the only one who can help us to feel contentment when we feel spread thin and weak. Thank you for your time and words, Diana and Dawn! The gospel changes everything, all praise to the Father! Amen!
I never comment on TH-cam videos but I just wanted to say as someone who is not at all religious, I truly appreciate what you are doing here. Your videos are informative and inspirational without being judgmental or pushy. This is the first time I’ve felt an inkling to explore my faith in a long long time. I’m going to check out some of your more religious playlists I’ve avoided in the past. Thank you!
I agree with you. I always say that there should not be sports on Sunday. I remember when all stores were closed on Sunday. Families went to church and spent Sunday together.
I want to second all the comments about Intermittent Fasting! 16:8 absolutely works if you do a clean fast. (only water, black coffee, plain tea). Even to budge stubborn weight like post-menopausal. Has all kinds of additional health benefits too. Combine it with cutting out processed foods and “white carbs” (sugars, refined grains, white rice & pasta, white potatoes) and you can do a lot of good for your health in a way that doesn’t really require time, just choices. Intentionality. It’s counter-cultural in 2023 America but sadly isn’t that true of most good, important, truly worthwhile things?! (It will make you feel so good you will want to find ways to make time for exercise!!)
As a family of 7, we spend our family time while hunting, fishing, and gardening which covers 3 of the 4 cups family, work, and health. We exercise while we do those activities and it's healthier to provide our own food which means our grocery bill is smaller, which is why we work 😂! Thank you Dawn for talking to me everyday while doing laundry 😂 and thank you Diane for feeding my spirit while I do other daily chores!
You 2 are so lovely. x. I always enjoy your videos. At 64 I really struggle to fit in anywhere. Most people my age are either married or in relationships & don’t include single people. They are also mostly Mums & have grandchildren & I can’t join in with their conversations, especially when they start bragging about them. I’d love to have someone to do things with, especially Coronation Day on Saturday in the UK. Most of the friends that I have are ones on Facebook. If you have someone special in your life never take them for granted. You don’t realise how blessed you are.
This is great! I'm 56 & let me tell you, you will have less energy for sure. Learn NOW how to be good to yourself. You can not pour from an empty vessel....ever!
I love this concept! I try my best to practice “ora et labora”. Latin for praying and working, making my woke prayerful. (An ancient Christian tradition.) I don’t just apply this to the work I do for my paid job, but also for the work I do in my family, in my home, in other relationships, and with myself and the way I have fun and rest. This topic also reminds me of this quite, “Know that even when you are in the kitchen, our Lord moves amidst the pots and pans.” ~ Saint Teresa of Avila
The Sabbath day of rest and observance begins when the sun sets on Friday and ends when the sun sets on Saturday. That is the biblical Sabbath day that we are commanded to observe. Thank you so much, ladies, for your demonstration and message in this video. ❤️
Combining when possible is great advice. I walk/hike with friends or husband, go to the gym with my friends, Bible Study group with other families, playdates with friends, etc.
The sunday morning thing is so true. Im glad that im my church we have options. Saturday afternoon, sunday morning, sunday evenning are all options for services.
Thank you for the biblical reminder. I've been in the sandwich for 25yrs. I've retired and sometimes have trouble reminding myself that taking care of elderly family and friends is doing the Lord's work.
This speaks to my soul! Thanks you two!!❤ No more being transformed by the world!! Interesting how your two TH-cam channels work together. You both are doing much good💚
I'm in the battle with you sister! This world has consumed more of my time/mind/desires than it should be. I'll be joining you in the fight and with HIS strength, we can do this.
I spend a bit chunk of my time on health. Don't forget when you are younger to work on health and nutrition. Health may seem to just come naturally when you are younger. So don't empty that glass all the way, because it will catch up to you. I say God, Family, Health, Rest entertainment which may include family and friends etc.
Diana! This is excellent! Thank you for your holy boldness sister! Not our current cultures life approach but absolutely needs to be said for those of us who are citizens of Heaven. Helps us keep our focus! Love it! Fun to see Dawn too 😉
My experience is that as I (f 75) age health does require more and more attention. Doctor appointments, med management, pt plus reduced energy means that health cup is full . So there is just a little left and that for me goes into the faith cup. Love you both.
I loved this. It was so so good! I think of the song with lyrics “More of Jesus, less of me” I find myself needing to resist the culture that markets consumerism.
I love how you broke time management down visually, showing how when we put God first other priorities fall into place. Regarding use of time on Sunday, I feel the need to mention that I, and many others who follow your channel, believe in and worship on the Biblical Sabbath which is Saturday, and we feel as strongly about baseball games and birthday parties on Saturday as you do about those activities taking place on Sunday. Big community of believers out here! Thanks for keeping us grounded in what’s most important in this life, including the best use of our time and resources.
I agree we need to rethink how we spend our time to make God, health, family, leisure more of a priority. Love those verses! Less stuff, the pursuit of less stuff, and seeking fulfillment in more God, family, and health centered ways is a great goal. Thank you!
I did two things that do not require eating less but helped me go down 20 lbs over time: I started getting everything possible organic so it really reduced my exposure to what for me turned out to be very inflammatory chemicals, and I reduced my lectin intake, especially gluten. Other things to check are too much sugar/carbs, get enough omega 3 healthy fat, watch too much omega 6(check your type of cooking oil!), and, if you are a dairy person with blood sugar issues, read about switching from A1 to A2 protein dairy. I keep frozen organic brocolli to throw in morning omlete, soup, etc for filling bulk and vitamins. So instead of eating less, I eat differently and the weight is coming off naturally. I did not cut anything out entirely, just more of some things and less of others, and cleaner whole food for the most part.
I have been doing intermittent fasting since January and its going well!!! I think it can look different for each of us. I have breakfast and then just drink water till dinner. Thru the week I dont eat after 7pm. Its still challenging at times and im so excited to eat dinner....lol!!!!! :) But im seeing good results which is encouraging!!! Giving yourself grace too is helping it to be sustainable!!!! im 49 years old and still have the desire to be married but am learning that this season of singleness is a gift!!!!!
Alomg with prayer I Have been doing intermittent fasting for almost a year, eat bkfst at 10 and don't eat after 7. Honestly wasn't hungry most nights and lost 5 lbs. Just this week I started a low carb diet hoping to improve diabetic numbers. My numbers have been so good I feel like a Miracle has happened. Praising the Lord❤ I will be 78 in May so I encourage younger women to give it a try.
I started what I call *no chew before noon* I don't think it would be considered fasting. I did IF for a long time, now I start with warm lemon water, then bone broth then green tea by noon I'm ready to eat :)
I agree abit seeing people doing ither things & not making church a priority. Our church still has services twice on Sun & Wed night. Its good having that time together.
I love your videos normally and listen to them Sunday mornings. This one is a little interesting because it’s not like we all can quit our jobs or just work 14 hours a week. This minimizes so many professions that are vital to keep society running. If doctors, nurses, garbage/semi/bus drivers, educators, retail workers, postal workers….even the Starbucks baristas only worked 14 hours a week, our whole world would be different. I would be game for it (I mean who wouldn’t) but realistically until the US adopts this universally the vast majority of people need to work. Especially now with inflation and the economy this just doesn’t work for so many. I was a mainly stay at home mom when our kiddos were little, I loved that season of life, now I have 5 young adult/teenagers and I am in a different season again. I am a nurse and love that I can also have satisfying career. I tell my kids that you can have everything you want just not all at once. So basically I love your videos usually, they make me feel uplifted on the sabbath day but this one I don’t quite get. When Dawn shared this concept it made more sense. Sorry for the criticism just wanted you to see a different side.
I had a full time job that just wanted more and more from me and couldnt attend health appointments i really needed. Changed to part time job with similar pay and suddenly i could focus on my heath, have more time for friends and family and help keep on top of the housework❤👍🏻 simple changes really do help plus Dawn's minimalism videos ❤
Thank you Diana for your video today. For years I worked on Sundays- I am a nurse. Now that I am retired I am keeping the Sabbath day holy❤️and I am so happy to be able to do this now. Your video was refreshing. Thank you❤️
We need to make more time for our loved ones in order to be truly happy. We need to grow our Christian community and live out a life devoted to God and His son, Jesus. Thank you Diana and Dawn for such great advice. Love you both and hugs! ❤❤
I have found that many times, my time with family & friends revolves around food - unhealthy food, for the most part. I have tried to switch it up to get together with these folks with a different focus (a physical activity, worship, or helping others).
I figured out when I'm ego driven my energy, relationships and priorities are in poor shape. When ego driven I'm always in a rush or in a panic and experience anxiety and sometimes boredom and confusion. All are very uncomfortable states. It's because the ego wants more yet it will never be satisfied. Because it wants to want more than it wants to have. For me I felt like being on a continuous hamster wheel. Important to note that the ego is in the driver seat whenever I feel dissatisfied, angry, unfulfilled, combative, etc.. The key is to become aware the moment I feel any type of negativity. I stop and focus on my breath or I describe what is in front of me or I feel the energy in, say my hand, instead of reacting. I've come to discover this neutralizes and halts the emotion from continuing. I immediately gain clarity and peace. The ego is in constant survival mode and thrives and strengthens itself on reactivity. However the more I've become aware of it the less hold it has on me (more peaceful moments). It's helped me to become the witness, the awareness and I hope it helps you too.
Appreciate you two - so, so much. Please continue doing what you're doing. I've been struggling with balance, prayed over it this morning, and then this video popped up for me. It's exactly what I needed to hear. Thank you.
Amen, this was so encouraging and THANK YOU for mentioning activities on Sunday!!! This has grieved my heart. I pray we will be a community to come back to worshiping and spending time with family on Sundays!
So glad I'm somewhat technically challenged, or at least resistant. And don't regularly buy online. It has to be a major purchase and a major hassle for me to get in person, (like travel out of town) for me to do an online purchase
Yes regarding baseball fields full of people on Sunday mornings. This started 20 years ago when my youngest had basketball practice on Sunday mornings! I was shocked at the time. 😢
Sooo good! You and your sister are the sweetest and most down-to-earth, caring people on TH-cam...or just in general! You are such an encouragement, and for years, I kept wishing you would start your own channel....and you are killing it! When referring to the origin of the four burner theory, and where you had heard it, I kept waiting on you to mention your sister's name....she did an episode on it a year or two ago...that's where I heard it for the first time! You know what they say....great minds think alike...and after all, you guys are twins! God bless you both. I am loving your channel, Diana.
I like what I do. A small farm. 70 acres. We have to irrigate. I have hay and pasture with feeder calves. Don't want to travel, love staying home. Always more to do than I can get done. My husband likes to travel so he goes. I'm 68 but like staying busy with this place and my animals. 😂
Good morning, Diana! In our busy days as you say we forget to keep God forward in our minds and heart. I have a friend who has started and old practice of “good deed beads”. There are 10 beads on a string. You can keep these beads in your pocket to remind us “all for Jesus “. It helps us to keep in mind the “little ways to incorporate your faith during the day” ( that was from you, Diana). Each time you feel the beads in your pocket and you, pray help someone etc. you can pull a bead. I think this is a tangible way to keep our faith in mind all day. If you would like to know more please let me know. It is really very simple but effective.
Yes!!! 🔥🙏 When you first dumped out work, I was like wait Pastor Diana!!! I thought work was worship. (I had just heard this in passing recently elsewhere, and not the evolution of the meaning of the word worship. Thank you!! 👏
Some of the most impactful ways give the health glass some attention are: getting more sleep, drinking more water, switching out your lunch for a big salad every day (with nutritarian dressing/hummus), and getting 30 min of light exercise each day (e.g., a short walk with kids/pets).
Best time to start weight loss is spring/summer as our bodies are naturally wanting to get rid of winter fat. Intermittent fasting is the easiest! And actually saves you time (cause you’re not eating all day… just a shorter window).
I live in the Midwest and Wednesday is still a church night. ❤️ If sports do happen on Sunday, it's usually past noon. We love living a simple life but sports is a big part of it and we love watching our kids do what they enjoy! 😍
Hey you and Dawn would probably love this. There is a parenting conference going on this week called chaos to connection. It's so good. Listened to some of the talks already. You can Google it. Laura Dawn is one of the women putting it on. Telling some of you mamas I think would enjoy it. And like learning new things.
A big part of the workforce issue is that corporations used technology, importing goods, etc., to gain higher profits, instead of putting those profits into supporting the workforce, their personal life, paid leave, recreation, etc. Also, studies done have shown that families now actually do not spend more on fluctuating expenses, clothing, food, etc. Families spent the same amount 50 years ago. It is however the large expenses, housing, which is linked to good schools and safe areas, Healthcare, that have gone up tremendously, now causing a need for two income families, that actually now struggle to keep up with all of these expenses. If we did spend the second income on extra fun things, it would be easy to change in times of hardship to shift that spending. However, that is not the case.
The Sunday mornings that are full of everything but church and Jesus are so sad to me. We are just so against sports that fill up our time so it’s hard to see. I’d love to do these Saturday mornings with you!!!! Started following your sister and love you both!
I live in Denmark 😉 It’s normal to work 37 hours here and every one is aloved to have five weeks of vacation. some of us (myself included) have seven weeks though - that’s great though I’d love to just work 14 hours a week 😂
I am a nurse. If i work on sundays i intentionally choose another day of that week as sunday and mark it in my calendar. I will not do any chores or run errands but instead spend time with the Lord, my family and friends or read a book. I even prep meals ahead so i don't spend my time in the kitchen. I started this over 20 years ago and when i sometimes skip my "sunday"! because of a "full schedule" i regret it almost immediately and turn back to this healthy habit... the shabbat was made for men, intentionally 🕊 Shalom
I have so much more time in Retirement so that my health is now a priority HOWEVER everyone does deserve to have a better work/life balance well before Retirement
That empty work glass. So hard to see anything else 😂 Three years until I retire and pour that thing out!! It might be a regional thing, but I still attend church on Wednesday night and the youth meet then too.
The funny thing about that is if we were dating again we would make the time for it. We would put it as a top priority 2nd to God so I know if our motivation was there we would do it, like dating, like trying to find our husband, like trying to please our husband, trying to look good for our husband, etc.
I fear my 44 yo daughter will regret working so much. She is missing so much family time. She and her husband are so hell bent on increasing their, already huge $, wealth. Her health is not good also. I am sharing this with her.
Uninterrupted work time BUT taking a break every 50mins because that is the key to productivity. Cut out sugar. And cut back on carbs. they turn into sugar, sugar is terrible for your health. Add in fasting. Work yourself up to a 4 day fast every so often, very good for your health. I'm going to guess that most of us are lacking in sleep too. That might be the next step to improving our health. And lastly consider not phrasing it as 'lose weight' if we say we lost something our brain triggers our body and we try to find it. Really think about the good! Read through the 'whatevers'! Conscious language this! I am not in need or want, I choose to be in good health. :)
It’s easier to spend less than it is to make more.
Love this!!!
So true!
Amen!❤❤❤✌🏻
Full body exercise I do daily . On my bed. .. then I do 2 min rebounder.. .. I work in 4 exercise to lose belly fat. Measurements is now 30” at belly button. . . I drink lemon n water (use detox 22 lbs in 14 days).
A stranger compliment me for my legs!
A friend complimented me for the muscles 💪 in my arm. Strength in my upper back.
...
Good job girls!!
I first heard about the 4 burners from your sister Dawn and her 3 working burner stove❣️😅🤗💞
Me too!
Me too! 😂😂
Me too - and have shared it with lots of people - in fact, one was just the other day.

❤🙏🏻 So well said.
WOW
Absolutely true!
Amen!
God gave me this same revelation awhile back about His manna and I wrote a post on it. I have 4 and a set of 8 year old twins.

People like Dawn and you are my friends now.
I couldn't stop looking at Diana's hair. Beautiful!
Thank you, Diana! I appreciate you as a sister in Christ!❤

Thank you for you lessons. They are very good. God bless you girls and your families!❤😊
Time is so important. Get it back! Buy it back trade it back do whatever you can to get it.
I love this. I think the real problem I have is that a lot of my friends are stuck in that 2 burner situation and don't have time/space even if I do.
Thank you nice seeing you two sister together again 🇺🇸❤️
I would recommend Fast Like a Girl. It works great and Princeton could just do intermittent fasting regularly. It would be great for both of you!!!
Dawn loves this book! And that was my exact advice to him! Great tip 💛
I started what I call *no chew before noon* I don't think it would be considered fasting. I did IF for a long time, now I start with warm lemon water, then bone broth then green tea by noon I'm ready to eat :)
I get so much from your conversations on faith. Thank you!
Really good! I totally agree about driving past ball fields on Sunday- it makes me so sad
Everything you both focused on makes so much sense 💕

Hi Diana, hi Dawn, is great to see you!
Neglecting the health glass can easily make your overall amount of liquid less. If you are rundown you have less to give to the others.
I have found that many times, my time with family & friends revolves around food - unhealthy food, for the most part. I have tried to switch it up to get together with these folks with a different focus (a physical activity, worship, or helping others).

Thank you.
My pastor shares a message regularly about "your work is your worship, your worship is your work."
Yes to everything there is a season
Do protein shakes, 1@ break-fast , & evening time; 600 calorie for mid day.!
Very timely topic. Thanks for this! I have been in your Small Group for a week now and am really enjoying it. 🙂
I like what I do. A small farm. 70 acres. We have to irrigate. I have hay and pasture with feeder calves. Don't want to travel, love staying home. Always more to do than I can get done. My husband likes to travel so he goes. I'm 68 but like staying busy with this place and my animals. 😂
Great video!!! So helpful. Love your outfits Ladies!!
🌻💛🌻
I love you ladies! You’ve both been so encouraging to me as a mom of small children. Thanks for sharing such great content.
Such a timely video.. but isn't that how He works xoxo God Bless you both. Love, your sister in Christ!
Yes!!! 🔥🙏
When you first dumped out work, I was like wait Pastor Diana!!!
I thought work was worship.
(I had just heard this in passing recently elsewhere, and not the evolution of the meaning of the word worship. Thank you!! 👏
this was soooo good ❤ well done 😊
LOVE< LOVE
I ❤ this!
What a great video!!
Thank you🦋💗
Dawn taught us the 4 burner theory!!!!!!!
This is like my favorite video you've done
Some of the most impactful ways give the health glass some attention are: getting more sleep, drinking more water, switching out your lunch for a big salad every day (with nutritarian dressing/hummus), and getting 30 min of light exercise each day (e.g., a short walk with kids/pets).
Best time to start weight loss is spring/summer as our bodies are naturally wanting to get rid of winter fat. Intermittent fasting is the easiest! And actually saves you time (cause you’re not eating all day… just a shorter window).
Awesome
Loved this thank you!
I live in the Midwest and Wednesday is still a church night. ❤️ If sports do happen on Sunday, it's usually past noon. We love living a simple life but sports is a big part of it and we love watching our kids do what they enjoy! 😍
Wonderful!
Great video! Thank you.
That was beautiful
Hey you and Dawn would probably love this. There is a parenting conference going on this week called chaos to connection. It's so good. Listened to some of the talks already. You can Google it. Laura Dawn is one of the women putting it on. Telling some of you mamas I think would enjoy it. And like learning new things.
Great Video.
Alleluia, Glory, we did it, we arrived 😆😆😆. Love it!!
I agree about the soccer fields, baseball games etc. being played on Sundays is wrong.
Beautiful message
Thank you for this.
I live in Denmark 😉
It’s normal to work 37 hours here and every one is aloved to have five weeks of vacation. some of us (myself included) have seven weeks though - that’s great though I’d love to just work 14 hours a week 😂
Nurse/doctors and so many other profession....sunday don't excist...
Every day is the same...
Really good commentary
Lets not tack God onto OTHER tasks. God must be TOP PRIORITY! We will pay a price for placing other things above God!
That empty work glass. So hard to see anything else 😂 Three years until I retire and pour that thing out!! It might be a regional thing, but I still attend church on Wednesday night and the youth meet then too.
@10:09 Not to mention the benefit your children get from a mom who isn’t stressed out!
The funny thing about that is if we were dating again we would make the time for it. We would put it as a top priority 2nd to God so I know if our motivation was there we would do it, like dating, like trying to find our husband, like trying to please our husband, trying to look good for our husband, etc.
The womens liberation movement has a lot to do with this. Its wasn't known when they did this study. So, it's quite a delima.
I fear my 44 yo daughter will regret working so much. She is missing so much family time. She and her husband are so hell bent on increasing their, already huge $, wealth. Her health is not good also. I am sharing this with her.
It’s more challenging to honor the boundaries
I need to lose 50-55 pounds. This is a huge things for me to do.
If you don't work you don't eat. Forsake Not the assembling of your selves together.
