I've worked in an architectural office for 5 months. we used 2 monitors. both were about this size or bigger. they were actually 4k tv screens. it worked well for me as we didn't care about refresh rates, color accuracy, response times etc since we just drew in Autocad and used PDF viewers and excel spreadsheets. the 2 things that bothered me: When i used the remote control, the infrared of the remote bounces on the screen and accidentally controls the monitor of the coworker behind me. So if an office wants to use a monitor that uses a remote, just be aware of that. Make sure you block the reflection. The worst thing that bothered me was, the NECK pain. It's true, especially when you have to tilt your head up. We worked in a high paced production office. I was definitely productive. As for sizes of Text and Buttons, you can change that through Windows settings (not sure for Macs). For gaming, I am usually satisfied with 16 inch to 32 inch monitors. (although i also had worked as a 3d artist and 2d artist in another architectural office, Dual monitor setup at 27" was fine. (Also a tip for viewers: Stay away from curved screen if doing architectural stuffz because you will want to see straight lines when doing construction/engineering drawings. You want to know you actually drew a straight line)
I used my boyfriends 43 inch Samsung tv for a while and absolutely freaking loved it. He used my 32 inch LG ultrawide as an exchange and he liked it but his line of work requires a more bigger screen for web design and stuff so we exchanged again. While I actually missed having a monitor, I decided to upgrade back again to a 43 inch, but this time, a monitor instead of a TV. I get it next week so I’m excited to try it again. I also found that I have a natural tendency to tilt forward and slouch at generic computer monitors and even my 32 inch one which gets harder for my back as years go by. When I had the 43 inch tv, it actually forced me to lean back on my chair which helps my back and neck. I hope this helps anyone still deciding between a 32 inch and 43 inch. Yes, it’s a huge screen, but like other people said, if you have a deep enough desk, and If you have the back and neck issues like me, get the bigger one.
@@snfgriefers so when I got the 43” monitor I thought it would be a legit looking monitor, but it feels very similar to the TV I used. I’m sure there are some technical differences between the monitor and TV that I can’t quite explain on the top of my head. One example I can think of, is that the monitor has an “eye saver” feature that actually calibrates the screen so that your eyes aren’t so strained and fatigued. I’ve had to use that a few times. In essence, while the monitor is a few hundred extra than what you would pay for the same size TV, im glad I got it in that it makes me feel more comfortable using a technical device that’s made for sitting on the computer and looking at all day. As much as I loved using the TV as a monitor, I couldn’t quite shake off that I’m using a big screen TV as a computer monitor.
Man you just earned a sub! I like how relatable and humble you are going the "Average Joe" route without the glorifying gimmicky tech jargon that don't really matter at the end of the day if your experience isn't going well
I have the same monitor and couldn't be happier. No other monitor on the market today is giving you more bang for your buck. If that size is to big for you get the 32 inch version of it. Exchanging it for a monitor with less features is a bad idea
Quick tip, with Display Fusion you can split any monitor into separate virtual monitors on a pixel level. You could have 4 equal "monitors", 3 tall and slim "monitors" , 1 Ultrawide on top and two 16:9 "monitors" and so on, and you could swap between the diffrent layouts with hot-keys ;)
This helped me a lot! I wasn’t sure about buying this tv, especially because i want it for work and maybe play time after that, I’m a software engineer so i was struggling trying to figure out if it’d be helpful in my day by day.
Is there enough space under the monitor to put a soundbar? Since the monitor is huge, I guess you have to set it quite low in order to be able to use the upper corners comfortably, which doesn't let much space under. Could you measure the available height under the monitor?
I'm more to 43. I've been using my 43 inch for couple of years now after previously used any 27 imac, 32 or wide 38. And Now I can't enjoy working with smaller size. Maybe 38 works only if there's flat version and not wide screen. I prefer 16:9 or 16:10 ratio. I just hate curve and wide screen of the 38. I just bought a new 32 inch last week but now it sits on the corner. The only problem with this 43 mon is it's not for gaming as it has standard refresh rate and it's not color accurate but I'm not doing color grading or semething like that so I sitll love and use it until now.
Yeah! Me too! I couldn't look back 24 & 27 inch anymore, they look small & tiny now, have to stress open big eyes to see things in 24-27 inches monitor. I am having problem with TV 43 inch that is not go right with my RTX 4080 VGA. It turn off sometime while playing PUBG or COD. They told me to change to use Monitor to adapt with RTX 4080. So I came here dont know if this monitor is good because it is look the same as my Samsung 40 inch TV I am using right now, same TV & same Remote control., his is Smart Monitor & mine is Smart TV O_O
I got one of these off of Facebook marketplace. Same size. I really like it. I use mine to screen mirror my phone mostly which you can do without internet! It functions really well as a TV and paired with my samsung phone it compliments the Samsung ecosystem. I think this thing even has its own little wifi router built in (?) so you can connect smart home features to it and control everything from your phone. It has a USB C connection which is great for charging devices even as you're mirroring them. Connects easily with macbook and iPad. Wouldn't get it for photography though as the colors don't match perfectly with your MacBook. But it's great for watching TV, screen mirroring, as an extra 4k display, using the Microsoft features like word and excel that come built into it, etc. It's made well though it's really thin which I love and comes with a heavy metal stand. I opted for this instead of a tv because it's so thin, and it can do everything a monitor does with the addition of a smart tv. Can't best it for the price. Especially if you find one like I did. Guy who sold me mine said he went with the smaller 32 inch instead. He liked it so much that just wanted the smaller one instead, but loved everything else about it.
Yea for gaming this monitor has slow refresh rate. I am currently rocking a Sceptre Nebula 34 inch gaming monitor. They have a 40 inch also that might suit your needs
these 43" monitors are not meant to be used so close but should be at least 1 m away and then set display settings to 175%. then no disadvantages, then they feel like regular small monitor and you use them like regular small monitor. advantage is you can also use them as tv and watch from few meters away some movie and less strain for eyes, ie bigger things. main advantage is they are more comfortable than small monitors. i use it for programming for over a year and love it. in office i have two 27" monitors and they are less comfortable for me. but i am thinking of buying second 43" monitor to use 2 for work at my home. i dont use split screen apps, they are really awkward and not practical.
For me 32 inches for a 16:9 monitor is about as big as you can get without it getting weird. I think these big TV sizes can work though if you have a very deep desk and are forced to sit further away than usual. I'm thinking about getting a 43 inch TV and a deep desk so that it makes me sit back instead of leaning forward which could be better for my posture.
Hey thanks for watching! To give you more info for consideration my desk is 29.5 inches deep and I think it's still not deep enough for the big monitor. Everyone is different but you might need something deeper than that or wall mount that thing. Also keep in mind of the height of the monitor as looking up all the time can cause neck strain too. Lmk how it works out for ya!
i use a 40inch uhdtv since 2015 and i just dont fullscreen my program and i just resize the program if i multitask and it eliminates the need for multi monitor setup
@@ToasterVentura Cool video, I have the M7 32 inchdes monitor, was considering the 43 inch version for media consumption but your video made me thinking...so i ll stick to the one i already have! Thanks
I have been working in a desk for years. I have a natural tendency to slouch and tilt forward with most generic monitors and even the 32 inch. When I had a 43 inch tv, it forced me to lean back like you said but that helped my posture tremeeendddously. So I’m getting the 43 inch again, but a monitor instead of a tv lol
Hi thank you for this review. I'm a medical student and I use to study alot. Is this monitor worth if I use it as a main monitor for my laptop and does it make headache or eye issues for studying too long?
If you are gonna stare at this thing for long period of time > 5 hours I recommend getting a regular monitor. I def had headache when I was using it after few hours
You didn't use it as an output monitor? I wouldn't use anything other than an ultrawide for timeline and even photo editing. Then use a big screen as output.
I agree with you man. I use my spectra ultra wide for timeline and it's so nice for davincii resolve. Back when I had this monitor I was hoping to use this thing as an all in one monitor instead of having multiple monitors. Don't think it worked out that way
I appreciate your feedback and usage experience. I am currently using two 27" monitors - not liking it that much. I have bezels and always find one monitor becomes the dominant screen. I am considering a 32 or 34 inch. I will mainly be using it for coding and office work - not much gaming. I also use a Macbook Pro and a Windows laptop for work - I mostly use my Mac, but have a few Windows applications with no Mac counterpart. So, a KVM of some type would be nice. (I am using a TESmart dual hdmi kvm now with docks for both laptops). I'd like to see a review on which monitor you ended up using. Always like to get honest opinions.
Agree with you that at some point, the size of the monitor works against you. A curved monitor might be the best option for more real estate without or less eye/neck fatique.
If you use giant monitor for productivity, Windows 10/11 is better as it have better window management and can snap your windows in any size and number so you can open multiple softwares at once which is what I do with my 32 inch monitor
Thanks for your review it gives a different perspective. My one thing I don't agree with is you chose a 43 inch monitor then complained about it's size. Did you try the 32inch version of the M7? I didn't find you really reviewed the monitor itself much.
I wanted to try the biggest monitor possible for the price. At least my initial thoughts were the feature and price point sounds pretty good to me. I ended up getting a 35 inch ultra wide monitor by spectre. It’s an ok monitor not the sharpest
I noticed that you have a secondary monitor in the video. I'm struggling to connect my Samsung m7 to another monitor for a dual-monitor experience for my WFH setup. How did you manage to extend the display of the M7 to the other monitor? I currenlty only have an HDMI cable running from my laptop to m7 and another HDMI cable directy from my M7 to the other monitor.
That's why. You're Daisy chaining the display from the monitor. Remove the other monitors HDMI cable from the m7 and plug it directly into the source(laptop or PC, or Mac)
nice points raised Sir. Thank you for the video. I have a question. It is usually said that a TV should not be used as a monitor as it may effect your eyes negatively. I am little confused. Did Samsung launched a TV and letting people use it as a monitor or this is a monitor which also has some TV functionalities, however the screen is a monitor screen which wont effect negatively? I am thinking to buy it for my secondary monitor. My primary will be 34 inch. And I sit like 38 inches away from monitor.
It's a monitor that works like a TV. I am trying to say the 46 inch was too big to use as a daily driver. The smaller version I think will work very well on daily basis. Hope this helps!
@@ToasterVentura thank you very much for the response. You’ve great knowledge, thus I would like to trouble you once more pleading for a recommendation related to best monitor for trading purpose. I am under the impression that for trading a high refresh and response rate is important during times of volatility. I could be wrong. Please advise which monitor can be best for high volatility scalping trading
I almost pre-order this monitor, however, I saw your comment regarding migraine, a kind of significant health hazard for me. I know, you are not sure about the exact cause. But it's been 3 months now since you posted this video. What do you think? Do you believe, users can have issues like eye strain, headache, and so on after using it for a couple of hours. That is very very important for me. Also, when you say, it does not support picture by picture, do you mean, the screen splits in two portions when connected with multiple devices?
Regarding eye strain - that depends on the person and how close you are to the monitor when using it. I mean I watch movies on my big TV all the time without eye strain so I deduce that it must be my setup or placement of monitor that contributed to the cause. Picture by picture yes I mean no split sreen function built in. You have multiple inputs but can only use them one at a time, not simultaneously
Thanks for sharing. I have been debating between the Samsung M7 32inch 4K and Dell 27inch 4K for design work. The smart Tv/monitor is definitely a cool feature and multi-use but I'm not sure about ergonomic-wise and that is pretty important. I just wish it's height adjustable.
Thanks for the honest review. not 100% sure but just a hunch, Ive had at least 2 older TVs die or get a blue screen from using the VGA port and switching back to TV alot, the resolution would alway be off too. Seems they fixed that issue and I really wanted this yesterday but it was out of stock but honestly seems like a glorified TV and it makes running a dual monitor setup require a bigger work desk if your 2nd monitor is not vertical.
Yeah exactly and this is just me but if your second/third monitor is smaller it makes it harder to go from one giant screen to a regular screen too. Keep that mind mind
Hi and thank you for sharing your experience. Just one question. Does this Samsung M7 monitor have motion smoothing feature just like a TV? It's often called motion interpolation or soap opera effect. Thank you.
I have the 32" M5 model and when I got it, I thought it had the PIP or picture by picture split view, which it doesn't, so that was kind of a bummer, but I've had it now for a few months and so far I've been happy with it. I rarely use the built in speakers though (only when using a built in app) because I run my PC through an old home theater receiver I had laying around connected to a 3.1 setup.
@@ToasterVentura I do, but going with the M5, I wasn't really expecting 120 Hz, but I would have liked the Picture by Picture option. I started researching the 43" LG this morning after watching your video, just because it has that feature...........and the number of inputs on the LG is insane, lol.
I know you put the stand has no height adjustments, but you kind of messed yourself up with placement from the word Go. The middle of your screen should be your natural, relaxed eyeline. I'm struggling to find out why you would spend somewhere in the $550 range but not get a mount for this monitor that MAY cost $50-$100.
You're too close to the monitor, you'd need at least 2 more feet. I've ordered one the other day and waiting for it. I hope it doesn't have the annoying blink some other monitors have with Apple Silicon machines though... but I think for the price it seems like a nice monitor for someone like me that is used working on 40" since the first 4k monitors that costed 2-3x that price when they hit the market back in 2016. Also I get that it's for the videos, but these lights under the monitor are more annoying than they are pretty imho, and they definitely need to be off if you do anything that requires color accuracy. I'm giving you a sub cause new channel and for encouragement. Cheers
Thanks Chris! I really enjoyed it, but I have limited space and mostly I do alot of spreadsheets so this monitor was not for me. The 32" would have been a great option for me as well!
I heard a lot of issues when it comes to connecting it to a macbook. I heard thunderbolt doesnt work. How did you connect yours? Are you using macbook as well?
Thanks for the video! Is it possible to use it as windows monitor with two excel sheets (left and right) and Netflix at the same time? Or does the Netflix function automatically starts in full-screen?
@@fan6387 I think that depends on your use case. I been really happy with my ultrawide monitor actually, especially doing spreadsheet and documentation processing
I've bought this monitor and I'll be returning it too. It's an awesome product but it's not a proper productivity monitor. The colors are very inaccurate and the surface is a bit glossy which it can hurt your eyes in long term work. If color accuracy is important for you don't buy this monitor even if you're an amateur editor, graphic designer, etc.
I am using lg 4k TV as monitor. As programming, color is not important but glossy screen is really bothering me. I had to work at evening or closing all the blinds. Can you tell me how glossy this M7 screen compare to normal PC monitor and normal TV?
After color calibration it is better but since it's a VA panel it's not going to be the most accurate. Also the adaptive lighting messes with it a lot as well
@@ocubextra I ended up buying the Spectre 34 inch ultrawide Nebula series. It's still a VA panel but the refresh rate made gaming butter lol. Another subscriber of mine bought the LG ultrafine 34inch and he said he loves it also on sale. For 299
Question before buying this smart monitor but 32 inch, does the monitor suddenly dies when you use it 4 to more than 7 hours ? Because when i watch a review by High TechCheck, while he reviewing the monitor for just 2 hours the monitor suddenly dies. Also thank you for your review.

I use it on the table and for that distance I don't need a bigger one.
Hi. I loved the video. I am also conflicted between the M7 43 inch monitor and ultrawide 34 inch 1440p monitor. I read that that the M7 43 inch monitor supports ultrawide mode where the top and bottom bezels cut and you can use it as a ultrawide monitor. Did you try it? Is it possible to do it normally when using mac or windows or do you have to be in a game to do it? Thanks. Subscribed
Hey glad you found my review helpful! Yes I tried the ultrawide mode but it's not the same. At that width you will have a better experience with a curved monitor for better viewing angle. It's been a while since I had this monitor, but I believe you can set it using a remote. So it's not limited to gaming mode only
@@ToasterVentura Thanks. I was considering this smart monitor because in my new home I have no tv or monitors and it would have functioned as 2 in 1. Monitor has higher pixel density and meant for close distance viewing. If you state at a TV at close distance you will see the square pixels vs a monitor is a lot more refined. Also monitors are design to help with eye strains, vs TV does not account for long hour usage
I bought two of these and hooked up just one yesterday and I'm super happy using it for work with mac. I don't work on photography/video edits so I don't care about that. All I need is space and this monitor has tons of it. Now wondering if I even need the second one ?

Question - can you use the split-screen feature between HDMI and apps? Like, can use split the screen into HDMI 1, HDM2, and Netflix or whatever, or does the split-screen feature just works within HDMI 1 and any other app separately?
A 43 inch monitor really is not that big. Before you buy one go to a TV store to see screens of 43 inches in real life. After doing that I would rather get a PC monitor of 48 or 50 inches. 43 inches is looking a bit on the small side.
I did purchase this and returning after 1 week. I get severe headaches after using it as a monitor for more than an hour. It’s an excellent tv though. Not a monitor.
You are using it wrong. I have one that I use as a secondary monitor and for netflix etc. but that's beside the point here. You don't sit that close to a 43 inch screen. The rule of thumb is that the minimum distance from a screen is the one at which you don't have to move your head at all. It is not for desk use, at least at 100% scale. There are too many pixels for (at least me) to make out finer things at any appropriate distance. In fact I don't think it's possible for my eyes at all to use a 4k monitor of any size at 100% scaling. 125% seems to be the smallest I can be comfortable with. What you need is a 21:9 ultrawide (don't ever buy a 32:9 one, that's a terrible, terrible mistake) if you edit videos. This price bracket is shit for any sort of color accurate work so forget about all that. Your macbook's display is far more color accurate than anything you can buy for $500 (I bought mind for 300, brand new if you can believe it). To anyone who's thinking about pulling the trigger: it is better than any TV (except for OLEDs) if you want to use as a monitor because it is a monitor. The apps are fast and snappy so that's a big plus compared to similarly priced TVs. I have measured the input lag against my 1440p144 TN monitor and it is about 10 ms slower which unrivaled by any non-OLED TV, because it is a monitor with apps and stuff. The speakers are really far better than online reviews make them out to be. I was thinking about buying a soundbar after the LTT video but I can't even turn the volume 100%. In fact it sits around 30. I have a 5.1 attached to my pc and it is obviously heaps better but the samsung's speakers are perfectly adequate. One issue is that wifi seems to be slow overall and it has problems with the 5GHz broadcast of my router (download speed capped at 5mbps, weird shit) and no wired ethernet. That's the only thing I have against this monitor but recommend it to all my friends and family if they aren't seeking something that has a DVB tuner (that's still a thing here in Turkey).

@@ChernobylPizza it’s a glossy monitor, yes.
@@MelleyV thanks for sharing !

Thanks buddy. Just trying to keep it real while finding my style on youtube! It means alot to me that to enjoyed my video!
I have the same monitor and couldn't be happier. No other monitor on the market today is giving you more bang for your buck. If that size is to big for you get the 32 inch version of it. Exchanging it for a monitor with less features is a bad idea
I completely get what you mean. I do like all the features and I miss the remote so much lol. I am testing out the Spectre 34inch ultrawide right now
I have the 43", are you able to do picture by picture, or over 4 screens?
@Bornno.1 are the pixels visible for you? I'm thinking about switching from my UW 34''1440p to M7 43"
Saw a ghost at 3:57. Great video btw. My 1 year old M7 still works great for me.
I use this monitor for music production and honestly can’t complain, just what I need it
I think there is definitely a great use case for this monitor! It's just not for data analysis 😕
Hes on a mac
@@simonhill6267 Well, then the quick tip can be for anyone that is on windows 😅
This helped me a lot! I wasn’t sure about buying this tv, especially because i want it for work and maybe play time after that, I’m a software engineer so i was struggling trying to figure out if it’d be helpful in my day by day.
Glad my video helped!
I se the LG 43" for coding, browsing, TH-cam, ChatGPT, teams, outlook, etc and its been great.
Good video! Helped a lot ! Now i have to choose between M7 32" and M8 32"... the struggle is real.
It's a great first world problem!
If you need the vesa 100x100 mount function the M7 is perfect. Otherwise the M8 is slightly better in every aspect.
I think they have a newer version now! It's a perfectly good monitor tbh, it's just not the best for video editing and spreadsheets
Thanks for the review, this has been very helpful for me
Glad you found it helpful! What did you decide?
hey good video. can u get hdr and 60fps in 4k on ps5 with this monitor ?
It's been a while since I returned the monitor but from memory no it does not support Ps5 HDR
@@ToasterVentura ok thanks a lot, gotta find something else I believe :)
Thanks
Thank you! I am actually still thinking of the 32 inch version lol. I think that is the perfect size
Appreciate this review. Had this monitor in the shopping cart and decided against it. Thank you.
I ended up getting the Spectre 34 inch ultra wide curve monitor. So far been pretty good to me
which monitor you suggest as i am a mac user and I am planning to by a monitor , and my work include coding and watching videos
Hi. Great review. I know its an old video, but how is the brightness? If u still remember it
The video and brightness was great. It's a great monitor, just not for my use case.
Agree with you that at some point, the size of the monitor works against you. A curved monitor might be the best option for more real estate without or less eye/neck fatique.
Yeah I am using a curved now but running into resolution issues when pairing it with a m2 mb air
If you use giant monitor for productivity, Windows 10/11 is better as it have better window management and can snap your windows in any size and number so you can open multiple softwares at once which is what I do with my 32 inch monitor
Window management isn’t best on MacOS but you can download something like magnet or rectangle to get those features.
I love magnet and use it regardless of whatever screens I use now
Thanks for your review it gives a different perspective.
Whats better for console gaming? A 4k smart monitor with 60hz or a 4k tv with 60hz?
I say a TV because it's cheaper and you get a bigger screen
Although monitors usually have much higher pixel density for close up details

Dell, especially if it's for work. Samsung is great at many things, but monitors isn't one of them.
Height adjustable = cheap monitor stand
Thanks for the honest review. not 100% sure but just a hunch, Ive had at least 2 older TVs die or get a blue screen from using the VGA port and switching back to TV alot, the resolution would alway be off too. Seems they fixed that issue and I really wanted this yesterday but it was out of stock but honestly seems like a glorified TV and it makes running a dual monitor setup require a bigger work desk if your 2nd monitor is not vertical.
Yeah exactly and this is just me but if your second/third monitor is smaller it makes it harder to go from one giant screen to a regular screen too. Keep that mind mind
great review! thanks
Awesome
Can we use usb soundcards or dac/amp on this monitor, since there is no headphone jack?
Hi and thank you for sharing your experience. Just one question. Does this Samsung M7 monitor have motion smoothing feature just like a TV? It's often called motion interpolation or soap opera effect. Thank you.
I have the 32" M5 model and when I got it, I thought it had the PIP or picture by picture split view, which it doesn't, so that was kind of a bummer, but I've had it now for a few months and so far I've been happy with it. I rarely use the built in speakers though (only when using a built in app) because I run my PC through an old home theater receiver I had laying around connected to a 3.1 setup.
Yea I am glad you like the monitor. It's great don't you wish it has 120hz refresh rate though
@@ToasterVentura I do, but going with the M5, I wasn't really expecting 120 Hz, but I would have liked the Picture by Picture option. I started researching the 43" LG this morning after watching your video, just because it has that feature...........and the number of inputs on the LG is insane, lol.
I was gonna get the LG originally, but ended up getting the Sceptre 34inch ultra wide gaming monitor as it fits my work flow better
If he mounted the monitor on the wall he can easily pull the table back a bit away from the monitor.
I heard a lot of issues when it comes to connecting it to a macbook. I heard thunderbolt doesnt work. How did you connect yours? Are you using macbook as well?
Actually mine worked very well and I am using it on both the 16inch Intel MBP and 13 inch M1 MBP. Both were immediate connections, no issues.
Are you using it on 60hrtz 4k setting?
Yes maxed out graphics and everything.
Thanks for the video! Is it possible to use it as windows monitor with two excel sheets (left and right) and Netflix at the same time? Or does the Netflix function automatically starts in full-screen?

If color accuracy is important for you don't buy this monitor even if you're an amateur editor, graphic designer, etc.
I think the 32 inch is Matte finish, but yeah u are right the VA panel is not the most accurate even after color correction. Check out the LG version

The 49 is just as glossy. I heard the 32inch is non-gloss

After color calibration it is better but since it's a VA panel it's not going to be the most accurate. Also the adaptive lighting messes with it a lot as well

Yeah TV is a big no no as a monitor unless you sit far far away. The Samsung is a monitor with denser pixel that is meant for using as a monitor!
What's different between monitor and TV.
Monitor has higher pixel density and meant for close distance viewing. If you state at a TV at close distance you will see the square pixels vs a monitor is a lot more refined. Also monitors are design to help with eye strains, vs TV does not account for long hour usage

@@ToasterVentura Thanks. Maybe we can try to use some other software to split the screen, like Microsoft PowerToys. But anyway, I just realized that my two laptops are all 4-5 years old, their graphics card can't support this 4K giant, hah.
For Mac, I use magnet to handle that function. Not sure about windows lol.
Yes, you have to check the features of each 43 inch monitor before buying. Some monitors are geared more towards gaming.
The 43" Samsung M70B is $299 on Samsung now. With EDU or Military offers.
That’s a super good price
thanks bro. i was on the fence about getting this, and i too think i'm gonna ernd up getting a 34 inch ultrawide instead.
I find doing spreadsheets and emails very easy on ultrawide. I work on platforms using Chrome and the ultrawide make it so much easier
How is this for gaming ?
It's only 60hz so you don't get the best graphics for gaming. It works well enough like any TV if you are not too picky
Brought this monitor yesterday from Samsung for $326 after tax. The bad news now it's OOS on Samsung website.
That is such a good deal
How is it like as a TV? I'm deciding between this one 43" or the m8 32in, is it good for movies or shows?
@@knightofwind2929 Not sure , I ended up giving the monitor to my brother. He wanted one so bad I just gave it to him. It's back in stock but cost about $60 more now. I ended up buying the 32" M7 for about $228 before tax.
@@nabibutterfly5385 so I guess same question about 32 inch lol? How is it
@@knightofwind2929 Hey, Decided between these two? Can you help me as I am also trying to find the answer of same question.
I just received mine 43", I got it for $424. I'll have to decide if it's too big or if I'm going to get the 32"
That's a good deal man! I know I was torn as well. I kept wanting to make it work
424 +TAX
@@knightofwind2929 yes
@@RichieColemanSr What did you decide?
@@tolokovma I went with a LG 34" Ultra Wide Monitor.
Please between this 43 and 32 inches, which one will you suggest for me. I multitask and also program. Please which Smart TV / monitor will you suggest for me. Productivity is a key word for me.
Thanks in advance
Hmm I would say 32 inch will be better. You should check out the LG version that allows multi screen built in
@@ToasterVenturaWhich of that version are you suggesting ? I need a streaming TV Monitor same as Samsung
Can i connect hdmi -1 laptop with this monitor?
Yeah for sure that's what I did!
Question - can you use the split-screen feature between HDMI and apps? Like, can use split the screen into HDMI 1, HDM2, and Netflix or whatever, or does the split-screen feature just works within HDMI 1 and any other app separately?
No you cannot. Think of it as one giant monitor that can do 1 thing at a time
@@ToasterVentura That's not what the Samsung site says. Says it does PIP and Picture by Picture
In my testing and research there is no pip or pbp, I could be wrong but I can't find it on the menu.
is it glossy or matte ?
I don't remember but I think it was matt
Does the M70B 43 comes with camera?
No it does not (the one in this video)
@@ToasterVentura Thanks a lot.
Does it have adjustable switch off timer?
The power settings in the OS should be able to turn off the monitor at least so it will use less power.
@@brandon_wallace I was hoping for standard timer like on TVs, as I fall a sleep a lot when watching movies.
Va panel is a big no for me
Is it good for gaming? Like Response Time
No not the best. It's 8ms, the monitor I am using now (Spectre) is 1 ms response time. Also the samsung is 60hz, no butter smooth
@@ToasterVentura How's the new monitor, and how much was it?
@@RichieColemanSr so I bought me a Spectre 34inch ultrawide gaming monitor. It makes more sense for what I do, but it is far from perfect
@@ToasterVentura Do you thi k it's better than the Samsung Smart Monitor?
Is that an $800 monitor?
Would it be good for gaming don’t care about high refresh rates
Yeah if you are not playing call of duty type games, it's a great monitor
Can you use ergo arm attachment on this monitor ?
No I don't think any arm can handle this. Think of this as the weight of a TV, you will need a TV swivle arm
A 43 inch monitor really is not that big. Before you buy one go to a TV store to see screens of 43 inches in real life. After doing that I would rather get a PC monitor of 48 or 50 inches. 43 inches is looking a bit on the small side.
If I have more desk space I would be down for a bigger screen
@@ToasterVentura My desk is 31 inches deep. My 43 inch monitor is mounted on the wall. It is working for me.
5 minutes into this video and I decided not to buy this product. Thank you for your review. Please take care.
Lol glad it helped lol
It seems like some of the 43 inch monitors of other brands would be a better option.
hi support thsi m7 plex software
..you sit way too close to that size of a monitor..you should be away about 1,6 meters away when ideal..
I know but my house ain’t that big lol
I did purchase this and returning after 1 week. I get severe headaches after using it as a monitor for more than an hour.
It’s an excellent tv though. Not a monitor.
Yea same here I am glad I am not alone with the headache.
What about refresh rate? 60 hz!!!
Yeah it’s your regular tv refresh rate. Nothing to brag about
cons #1 sounds like doing good to neck health
Lol depends on your starting neck strength lol
i have buy one to 380,-Euro by Amazon on 15.05.2024 BARGAIN!!!
That’s a super good deal !!!
HDMI-CEC is why the PS5 turns on
I bought this because in my country you're forced to pay a tv license, but you can get out of it if you have a monitor instead.
Interesting so if you buy a tv you have to pay extra? This monitor will certainly go around it but you are limited to small size
@Toaster Ventura Tech Yeah you have to pay €160 per year just to own a TV. It's to fund the state media.
WTF? What country is this?
@Toaster Ventura Tech Ireland
Oh good to know sorry buddy that's harsh man. Keep the Samsung monitor as a workaround for sure
I think its only 32 inch
Hello my brother. Can I code with this monitor? #softwaredeveloper
Yeah man for sure you can. But you might want a couple 30 inch monitors and mount them vertical for coding?
😄🤣🤣🤣🤣
