I love Elephant bush, aka portulacaria afra. I used to think they were a species of jade. But, they are not. Trailing portulacaria afra is absolutely beautiful! ❤️🌱
Good morning I just saw the tour last night and I want to Tk you again! I learn so much from you! And your plants are amazing the flowers they give you are because the good care and love you have for them! Hurray
Great tour, Ana 😊 Nice to see the ones Edith & I sent you doing well. Wow that Rebutia is big for two years old and already producing buds 😮 Loving the Echinopsis blooms as always, and nice to see the adorable Shadow make an appearance 😊 Looking forward to part 2, Ana. From Edith & myself, have a wonderful day and new week 🌵☀️🌼🌸🌺🏜☕️
Yes Daz, that rebutia seedling just took off once I let it grow outside. That is one of the seedlings that I overwintered in my greenhouse. The ones that I “babied” inside the house are still babies while many of those that I let grow outside all year round showed faster growth rate. (Give or take some that got sunburned) 😉
Wow!! I am just simply blown away by your beautiful collection of cacti and succulents. I am a collector myself and hope that one day mine will be as countless and as stunning as yours. I have been collecting for a number of years and have become quite an addict to them. Love your collection, Ana, i am now hooked to your channel😁😇🥰🤗. All the very best for a prosperous 2021🥳🥳 from Precious Blooms, Jamaica
Wonderful video, Ana 🌵👍 I love seeing other people's collections in different parts of the world. I live in Italy so our summers are pretty hot, but not as hot as yours in Las Vegas! 🌞🌞 Your cacti look wonderful and healthy! Happy growing 🤗♥️🌵🌸
pimpozza oh thank you. It sounds like you are also a collector/grower of cactus. I am flattered to have someone from Italy looking at my little collection. Thank you so much for your kind words. 🙂🌵☕️
@@CactusCaffeine Yes, Ana, I am also a collector of cactus!! It's addictive 🌵🤗 I also have to move some of mine around depending on weather but the Opuntia do great in the ground and bloom all summer. Happy days!! I am always learning, as I guess we all are. A hug from Fiona in Italy EDIT: I first found you through Lyn and Hans who have inspired me lots. I love your uplifting videos, like those of Lyn and Hans, Daz and Edith, Desert Plant Diary in India.. some lovely channels.. cactus power!! 🌵✊

I really enjoy seeing your outdoor cacti (as I’m sure you also enjoy ) and particularly how beautifully they bloom. I think you’re the only one who has so many blooming. Thanks for showing the full range of growth👍
Hi Ms anna! i am always inspired by the videos you uploaded. Love your cacti collection . The flowers are stunning 💥🌸🌺🌵💥. Make sure Shadow is always present when you are filming so he can scare your video thieves 😂👾. Thank you Ana . Enjoyed watching 🤗
Glovana Jn Baptiste. Shadow always like to be in my way when I am filming. Either he shows himself or he barks in the background. 🤣 Thank you for watching and for your funny comment.
Enjoyed this tour and it takes so much time to go through every cactus plant, it is very time consuming so thank for showing your cactus, it is never time consuming to watch the videos 😁👍🌵
So awesome. Really with all the long proper scientific names I would have to give them all nicknames!🤣🤣 Amazing garden I love visiting it. Wonderful job Ana. Have a great day!🌵🦋🌵
Hello ma’am! Thanks for answering me on my last comment. I will buy cactus and succulents and I will show them to you! I hope to get an opinion/advice on how to take care of them. Thank you so much! Love lots! 💙🙆🏻♀️
I waited till I had some real free time to watch this video with all my attention, I knew I was going to enjopy it because you have wonderful collections in different genera. I am looking forward for next episode. You have such lovely cacti and your yard looks so neat. Congratulations !!!!
I ❤️ your collection! You have inspired me to start a cacti collection of my own. I just wish that my cacti were identified. Most were purchased without labels.
Hey there Anna! Wonderful tour! was wondering how it went with the bionide you were using to treat mealybugs and if I had helped you deal with them? just like you, I don’t like to use pesticides but I am having to bring all my plants in and I’m worried that numbers of them could start to explode with the warmth all of my plants will be receiving. thanks in advance! and merry Christmas 🎁!
Thank you enjoyed the tour. I am going to buy more economies after seeing their blooms, but I live out back Queensland and I must shelter from kangaroos and burning sun. They will get burned as I wait 4 them to flower. I have a reasonable collect Ion and enjoy them . Happy growing.🌵
I did not know kangaroos can be destructive on plants. I learned something new from you. 🙂 Good luck with your plants and yes, I hope you find more Echinopsis cactus. 👍🏼🌵☕️
Have you tried growing cacti from the seeds your own cacti form? They may get cross pollinated with other varieties which would be an interesting experiment.
Great video Ana!!! That Echinopsis bowl looks really nice. I think I’m going to make a big bowl with a bunch of different pups. Hope all is well happy growing :)
Oh yes Brian you should. Would be a nice flower show when they all start blooming on your bowl. 😀 The ones that you sent me are all looking good. I believe many already rooted and showing signs of growth especially the peniocereus. 👍🏼
Hey Cactus Caffeine!! Really cool video 👏🍗🧁 Ummm....like around 11:30 the cactus that was right next to your Santa Rita....what is the name of that cactus??. The one that looks like it has pine cones on top.... WOW 👀.... she's definitely unique! I recently got a Santa Rita at home Depot .... didn't a little backyard info digging and they're edible and from what I came across they turn purple when they're not getting enough water? Not sure, it's just what I read! Thanks for the video 💝👏🍗🧁🕶️🎶👍🎉🛐🌵🐧
I really enjoyed this. You have an amazing collection and I can't wait to see art 2. I think I have become a fan of echinopsis. After you told me about your lovely Trichocereus grandiflorus in your desert garden I ordered one. I'm loving those too and can't wait for it to arrive. I've also started to grow cactus from seed and have had some success wit it. The constant name changes by the scientists is majorly annoying and confusing. I dont know what to call some of these plants. Sometimes I think this is the rare time where it's better to go by commn name than scientific name.

This is wonderful! I already watched most of your videos that's why I am waiting for this tour for 2020. ❤️😊 Salamat Ana ang ganda talaga ng collection mo. ❤️🌵
So. What is the hottest Temps that most cactus can tolerate without a shade tent? I'm in Michigan and I'm going to mainly have mine indoors but in the summer I can put them outside. The hottest it gets is about 90d....
90F is our spring temperature here! 🙂 Most desert cacti will still tolerate full sun under that temperature as long as they are gradually exposed to increasing sun. Our summer temperatures here seldom goes below 100F. 115F at the most. Mine are under 50% shade cloth.
Ok.. in Michigan we don't have extreme heat like that but it can get hot and I know sunlight is key.. my echinopsis did very well outside in the summer and produced a lotta pups..nothing has bloom yet. But I'm going to try the tomato fertilizer.
i love ur collection. always having problem to identify what type of my cactus. it helps alot. do you think anyway that can help us identify cactus? Especially for beginning
I love the collection ,can you tell me what i have to do to grow from seeds i have tried a few times or nothing happened or it started to grow but died
Hi Ana! What an interesting tour 👏👏 Lots of big and beautiful varieties. Nicely arranged and labeled. Mine are all around my house compound except for those under my pergola. I like all the cacti you showed.... so many and yet you said your backyard is quite small haha 😂😂 and this is only part 1?
My backyard is tiny compared to yours! lol. But I try to make the most out of every space I have. I am planning to turn another section of my garden into a desert landscape. Just right now, there is a shortage of my favorite cactus soil brand. As soon as I get more soil, I will start with that project.
One Big Fight! 😉 Are they long and skinny or round but just thin? If it is long, then it may need more light. If it is just thin, maybe it is just dehydrated. I’m a proud Blue Eagle as well. 🦅
