Hello from Australia! I’m a long time gardener but cacti growing beginner. I’m learning so much watching your videos. Thanks for sharing your amazing collection and knowledge.
Enjoying my caffeine here, love your potted collection! Love everything from the hanging cactus and you desert garden to your concrete jungle... Keep up the great show!
Your like, I got to many😂 A huge lover of your channel and Videos most of what I’ve learned about cactus and how to care for them is from you and your channel thank you beautiful plants you have just beautiful💚🌵
Oh yes. I think I have too many now. But wait, I just ordered a few more from Planet Desert! 😁 I can make space… 😉 Thank you for your kind words and for always watching.
I have my cactus plants on my front porch and we're having 85-95d weather in Michigan. They get about 3hrs of direct sunlight. My Echinopsis is changing shape, and my parodia is changing shape!! Its fun to watch them transForm!!
Another lovely video! Great collection, Ana, your cacti are great. As always, your video is fun and interesting and conveys love and joie de vivre. Thank you. I'm waiting for the second part ... Ciao! 🌵🌸🌴
Awesome tour, Ana. Always love seeing your entire collection. Gorgeous blooms as always 😊 It looked like that Eriosyce turned to stone! Looking forward to part two with the cactus gardens 😃 Thank you for sharing with us as always, Ana. Have a wonderful day from Edith & myself 🌵☀️🌸🌼🌺🏜☕️
That Eriosyce did feel like a stone. The hot air and sun just sucked out all the water inside it. It turned into a hard raisin! 🤣 I’m working on editing part 2. Should be out soon! Thanks Daz and Edith.
The one at 9.30 min I think is mammilaria marcosii… I have been searching for the name of the same one for awhile… same blooms and blooms a lot… you have beautiful collection! 😊❤️
Hi Ana! Thanks for the fabulous Spring tour! Stunning collection and all the gorgeous bloom "chef's kiss!" I'm with you on the Tephros... if you look at them too hard a segment falls off lol. Thanks for sharing your plants we us!!!!
Oh WOW what an INCREDIBLE Cacti and Succulent update tour Ana :-D all your plants are looking AMAZING and so many beautiful blooms, such a wonderful update and we are so looking forward to watching Part Two of your Cactus gardens, thanks so much for sharing the amazing Spring Tour with us, and Hans and I are sending you lots of love and happiness and CAFFEINE and PLANT POWER to Las Vegas for a blooming wonderful Sunday today XXXX
Thank you so much Lyn and Hans. I filmed another one this morning of a Trichocereus that you gave me advice on as it was having brown spots issue 2 years ago. Today it flowered! I mentioned you in the video. Will have it out soon!
These plant tours are very helpful . As you were highlighting some cacti with their names written across the screen , I noticed 2 that I had just purchased with no I.D. ; mammalaria boscana roseiflora and the orocereus trollii. Thanks 🌵
Hey, Anna, thanks for sharing! You inspire us so much :) I have new additions in my collections purely because I watch your videos and learn about cacti and their varieties, what flower patterns they have etc ☺😍
Hi Ana! Beautiful collection! I'm watching with my decaf coffee. It's late pm so want to sleep tonight haha! Thank you for all the information you share.
Great tour Ana!!! Lots of beautiful flowers!!! Had to graft my raushii, root mealies!! Yes, isn't it funny how from a pink flower you got a bright yellow!!! Will wonders ever cease!!! The little lobivia didn't open up again 😕. Have to wait and see if the other bud blooms! Thanks for sharing Ana!!! Looking forward to part two!!! I'm sitting on the park deck surrounded by plants, the weather is a bit windy, but perfect temperature in the 70s!!! Frogs are calling loudly like a tropical jungle! Very relaxing!!! Hope you and yours are having a wonderful evening!!! From Morris Park in the Ozarks, out to Las Vegas, have a wonderful day tomorrow!!! Peace, Love, Plants!!!✌💖🌵🌺🌿🏵🌲🌻🌳🌹🌴🌷🪴😃👍
I counted all your cactus and I think there was like 946 😂! Jk. That Old man cactus is sooo cool with the babies 😍. Really love how you are panning out and I love each section so far 😊. So fun to see it all and I feel like I always learn something new. Thanks Ana!
Lol! I was hoping someone else would count how many I have as I refuse to do it myself. 😁 But hey, your collection seem to be growing at a much faster rate than mine. Let me count yours! 😉
Anna... I'm so upset. I was in Texas for 3days and didn't get a chance go shopping for cactus!! 😪😪😪😪.. I wanted to buy a cactus for my nephew. Oh well!! I guess I'll have to wait til next year 🤷♀️🤷♀️
i have a 9 year old toothpick cactus and its never bloomed ive done the balls just this morning after watching some of your great videos your awesome only for your choice of coffee suppliers that dont give their farmers enough money, share the wealth, anyway this wasnt meant to be political love ya x bys
In your summer with hight temperatures, how often do you to water? And at what time? Love the collection and flowers. Someone told me that parodia is easy to rot , ! Is that your experience? What substrate do you use with them .. all the best for this coming summer
Hi Ana. What a lovely collection you have. I'm just starting this journey. I have a question, I have couple of my mammillarias that bloomed 2 months ago and now fruits. Do I wait until the fruits are dried and have fallen off then I can grow seedling from that? This will be my first time trying. Thank you so much for the contents. BTW, I bought my first strophytum myriostigma and I love it. it's currently in bloom with yellow flowers. :)
Melocactus: I saw a melocactus in your collection, and your climate is different from its normal habitat. You shade it during the day but then it doesn’t get the right amount of sunlight. And nights in the fall and spring are cool though not freezing. So how do you adapt your growing conditions for the melocactus? BTW I have learned a lot by watching your TH-cam channel. Especially cacti flower color and how to pollinate and then grow seeds. Thank you
Oh! Melocactus is so difficult in my climate. 😖 They lose their roots almost every year when they get too dry in summer or winter. Good thing they recover when the weather gets more comfortable for them. I just repotted that big Melocactus with a cephalium 2 days ago. It lost its roots again! 😟 I’m still learning what it likes and what it doesn’t in my weather.
Thank you. Good to know yours recovered from losing its roots. I keep reading that Melocactus is a difficult plant to grow. I’ll keep reading and asking, and hope mine survives.
Hi I over in England an finding it hard to find the round cactus with no spikes do you sell any seeds off this kind has I’d like some in house due to my grand babies not touching them many thanks
Spiders are actually good for plants since they eat the pests. But the webs can be annoying. Luckily, they are not a big problem in my yard. We get regular pest control treatment here since out in the desert, scorpions and black widow spiders are plenty. Regular pest control treatment is necessary here.
I can understand you not wanting to transplant cacti when they are in bud. I have a parodia chrysacanthion that desperately needs transplanting, but starting in late March, it keeps sending up new buds every time I turn around. It's getting hard to water because there is only about a quarter inch between the plant and the edge of the pot. It seems to be happy, though because it keeps blooming.
I have a question. I wonder can you graft a cactus to itself? Like if it grows fat, then skinny from too much shade or heat, then grows fat again at the top. Can you cut off the skinny part then graft the fat top to the base...make one fat cactus albeit shorter?
I’ve never seen that done but I don’t see any reason why it won’t work. But then again, it is better to just root the top separately then let the bottom part produce more offsets. You get more cactus than just having one weird looking cactus. 😉 Just my opinion.
I would like. To have a whole video about them cholla.all five would be great.close up pictures do I can tell them apart. Its hard on the memory when you get a five second glance and can't remember what it looked like
seeing cacti in the spring and summer really makes me excited to see my cacti bloom and see how big they get by the end of the summer next year

I’m sorry but I don’t sell. Check the comments section of my How to Grow Cactus from seed. There are recommendations there on seed vendors. ☺️
Ana I have a weird question . How do you keep spiders from making webs on your cactus ? I’m struggling this summer and I don’t know what to do
Spiders are actually good for plants since they eat the pests. But the webs can be annoying. Luckily, they are not a big problem in my yard. Oo, karamihan ng cactus flowers kailangan ng araw or warm temperature para mag-fully open yung flower. Except kung night-bloomer yung cactus.

200 in pots....
What happen if the rain comes there ?
Im jumping with joy if it does. 😄 It seldom rains hard here. Even if it does, my soil is well draining and all my pots have drainage holes. 😉
