We made it! Three workhouses! Wow wee! The mouton one looks so cool! Either the dehen 1920 deck jacket or the shearling free note cloth denim jacket are on my grail list.
Good morning Carl, Thank you for continuing the series. I'm certain all of us viewers here are looking forward to your new releases. Sounds like they're gonna be great. Keep up the great work.
I like the idea of a lightweight Workhorse jacket. I would buy one. The Tedstar leather stuff is interesting. I would like to see the breadth of their designs. Thanks for the new channel. It is good to have the two. BTW, I like loafers.😊
Glad you finally made a channel where you can have a little more freedom to do what you want without worrying about the main channel's engagement/monetization. The new workhorse jackets all look phenomenal! One of these years I'll be able to save up enough for one without something on the car or the house breaking... 😅 Thanks for doing what you do Carl, I always look forward to your uploads, regardless of what the subject is.
Personally not a huge fan of the Ted Star aesthetic and not sure it’s something for the main channel. Much of it feels costume-y and extremely niche (when exactly should you wear these?). The distressing goes too far - I’d much prefer the jackets without it because they do, like you said, have some really interesting patterns. I appreciate the craft, fail to see the use case. But I also don’t find much occasion to sport a leather jacket so take it as a biased opinion.
fuck yeah Carl all my work gear has been bought on ur recommendations and I'm tryna get a Workhorse!! A second subscription is nothing to me man I'm for the culture
One of the few that made it I realized I didn’t see it this week so I had to search for you. You were also the third coffee with Carl channels to pop up.
those are some cool jacket ideas. i wish they would take their field jacket in a 6 pocket design, unlined. the workhorse is great in a chill, but the pockets hold onto water in the rain which is a drag. waxed canvas is great in the rain, but the pockets will just fill with water.
Loving the idea of the super warm jacket. I have had my eye on a durable warm jacket to support my love for the great outdoors. I’ll admit, probably won’t be able to swing a $1000, but can totally appreciate it’s worth it.
I too like the idea of a light weight work horse and I really appreciate you giving us a heads up about them. I've missed other releases just because I couldn't act fast enough family, mortgage, bills you just can't always do that. I also like these segments. Myself I think the new brand is interesting and I applaud them for being able to branch out and do their thing, for me it's unappealing. I dig the whole heritage concept, the buy better and have less thing. Just my 2 cents.
Subbed! Great content Carl. Only issue I see is there are already a bunch of other “Coffee with Carl” channels. But I guess that’ll just help keep out the riff raff.
Damn brother, the new designs of the workhorse look SWEET! The Tedstar leather looks interesting but woo-hoo, too rich for my blood from what I saw. Hell a lot of what you review is out of my price range. But as I said before, I’m here for the entertainment factor. You must be entertaining because I’ve been here for quite a few years now. Came here years ago looking for some ideas on quality workwear and stayed for the personality. Keep up the great work Carl!
@@CoffeeWithCarl1 lol…Not at all. In the simplest way of saying it, I came years ago for info on workwear but you and not the products you review made me stay. That’s not to say that I don’t like the products. Hell I didn’t buy my Tecovas boots until I watched your review. But that’s because I trust you & that you aren’t just trying to push a product.
When you talk with the Heat Straps guys about the new Workhorse Heavy Mouton, you might recommend being able to zip-in/out the mouton layer. The reason: the leather that the mouton is attached to needs to be treated occasionally so it doesn't dry out. I asked Ralph at Weatherwool how a person would treat the mouton leather in his wool jacket and he didn't have an answer. The main reason I didn't purchase his jacket.
I wish you did another rerun of the last jacket. Those were perfect and exactly what I was looking for. It doesn’t have to be something new everytime. Especially if they sell out that fast. Just remake it. Like your channel and the content
While pre distressed leather gear isn’t my cup of tea, if you review it I’d still watch it. As for the workhorse the shearling heavyweight one sounds amazing and if I had 1k to get a jacket that would immediately be top of the list.
I got mine yesterday and its almost too much. Too much warmth, rigidity, overbuilt-ness. If you were heading into the snowy apocalypse, this would be your jacket.
@@CoffeeWithCarl1 thanks for the input Carl. Its weird as well in NYC. Way too cold outside and as soon as you step on the subway or one of the stores, its like a furnace. 😅
Whew, thought I missed the new channel. Welcome back! Give me a heads up if you decide to start a 3 rd one! 😂 BTW, The new spring version of your jackets looks really interesting.
Hi carl. I enjoy those quick Coffee with Carl updates. Really entertaining. Do you have any reviews or opinions on suede jackets and/or overshirts? I've been thinking about getting one lately. Like the Schaefer Outfitters Suede Overshirt.
What’s up Carl…quick question, ordered the workhorse V8 Said it’s shipped out of California?? Thought these guys make the jackets out of New Jersey?? What’s the deal?
This is the first TH-camr that shears my stuff and I could say that I’m amazed by his approach not asking for upfront payments, royalties or monetising his work!
I personally wouldn't tune into a video on distressed leather gear like Ted Star, not really into gear that's been distressed purposefully, just my $.02
These leather products seems to have some kind of realy unique artsy craftmanship behind. But honestly this fake distressed stuff I absolutely dont like it... sorry to say this. It is just not my taste. Especially in hot rod or Harley backgroud it always has the taste of wannabe / try hard hot rodder. I am fine if you make a video by the way, I am open to change my opinion.
I agree. Ted Star Leather looks kind of tangent to the Carl Murawski territory. It's good to feature brands like this in passing but probably don't need to invest a ton of time on a deep dive video unless you're captivated by their stuff.
Don’t know why I see the video two weeks later but thank you Carl for mentioning my work! Really appreciate it! There must be someone to educate the audience about the difference between "it doesn’t worth it" and "I can’t afford it", difference between collectible functional art and production line stuff. Anyways, I love your content, and especially when you talk about those small "one man show" craftsmen. Keep going man!
I think you need to consider us southern folks. You keep collabing on the polar jackets. What about something that won't melt us down here. Lol please!
This guy is the most handsome man I've ever seen.
Hahahaha
😂
🤣🤣🤣
You be you, boo.

I love my V3 & V4!! I have The Mammoth wool jacket on order, so gonna wait for that light weight camo workhorse. Awesome stuff as always!!

Good morning Carl, Thank you for continuing the series. I'm certain all of us viewers here are looking forward to your new releases. Sounds like they're gonna be great. Keep up the great work.
Thank you sir!!!
A workhorse jacket lined with alpaca wool would also be good in cold weather.
It sure would... leave some ideas for next year bro!!! lol
Carl - love both of your channels and enjoy the variety and uniqueness of both of them. You are a good dude...keep up the great work.
I appreciate that! Though I might be able to find some people willing to argue whether I'm a good dude or not!
I like the idea of a lightweight Workhorse jacket. I would buy one.
The Tedstar leather stuff is interesting. I would like to see the breadth of their designs.

Hahahaha thats okay, you're still welcome here. ...for now
Hearing you mention the rocketeer, verified that I’m in the right place. Good stuff as always 👍
Glad to hear it!
That mouton jacket is insanely awesome

Exactly! It will be interesting to see if YT still runs ads on this channel even though its not monetized...
@@CoffeeWithCarl1 We’ll see, I’ll let you know.

Awesome channel Carl. Love the vibe and content!! Keep em coming.
Thanks! Will do brother!
Good morning! I’ve been looking forward to this. Let’s do it!
Hope you enjoy!
Happy first episode on this new channel. Glad to subscribe and support your efforts 🤘 looking forward to the deep freeze collab.
That mouton jacket 😍 👌
Luxury wrapped in armour!
Good morning my dude, Hope the new channel kicks off just as much.
Well I certainly appreciate that, but I dont expect it to. This will be my way of talking directly to people like you whose opinion I value most!
One of the few that made it I realized I didn’t see it this week so I had to search for you. You were also the third coffee with Carl channels to pop up.

When’s the collab with the iron snail coming up?
Once he and I can get our schedules aligned!
Looking forward to future videos. The Ted Star things are definitely cool and unique but you need a second mortgage to afford them.

Cool video
This whole thing started because you liked doing something, keep it up Carl...
All 3 coats are winners. I'm sure none of them will last longer than 48 hours. The Mouton is calling to me. Need another tough watm coat
Thank you, Carl.
I saw this weekend that Sam's Outfitters is closing the Brattleboro, VT location. Do you know the place?
I dont, but I hate to heat things like that. Have you been to Old Soul in Cold Springs NY? Really cool shop.

Another awesome video! Tedstar leather looks good! Got to love trolling the haters
Agh, dang it. I just got the v4 and now I’ll definitely get that camo lightweight version.
Hahaha it wont be out for a few months, dont worry.
The plaid would be nice! Maybe if isnt above 500 i will be able to snatch one on time before its sold out 😢
Arhhh there it is beautiful watch 🙂👍🏼🦉
Hahahaha just for you my friend

Definitely here for the idea of a lighter weight jacket for spring/fall!
Ya let's check this new jacket guy out sounds cool
New jackets look great! Any good, better, best videos in the works?
Oh yes. Finally I’m doing a Good, Better, Best work boot video
Looking out for that Mutton lined jacket. I'm not sure if I need it in NYC but I don't care haha

I was looking for the Ted Star Leather website. Would you be able to share?
Sure thing: tedstar.com/
What’s up Carl…quick question, ordered the workhorse V8

What’s the deal?
Any timeline you could share as for when to expect the next workhorse? My heavy is getting lonely in my closet
The mouton should be early February with the others releasing each month after.
People saying they are done subscribing are dumb it’s one click. It’s faster to subscribe than say you aren’t going to
I was too quick to judge the creation of the second channel. I quite like it tbh 👀😆, good luck man!
No hat throws, though?? 😂
Hahahaha nah, we'll leave that to the main channel
Loving this content, making my first foray into quality goods with a second hand pair of naked and famous jeans on the way :0
Second hand can be the best way to learn what you like without dropping a fortune.
Oris Aquis Calibre 400 on strap makes an appearance
Damn, good eye!!!!
Sorely disappointed, NOT ENOUGH COFFEE ☕️, that Mouton jacket though 🤤, take my darn money 💴!
Is that like a light green canvas btw?
It is! Its kind of a sage green with a black mouton lining.
What coat are you wearing in the thumbnails? It looks awesome!
Hahaha thats actually a robe I got from Huckberry. It IS awesome though
Murawski Army, whoop whoop! I'll keep plugging your content on Reddit any chance I get. People complaining about $200 pants my butt.
Hahaha I appreciate it dude! I'm u/HighQualityLowKey over there
Hahaha well well well!

And I'll be sure to remember you!
Hey! Congrats on your new channel. I´m here again to tell you about Iron & Resin. I think you should really check out their stuff. They´re great. =)
I'll check it out!
Why is subscribing to another channel such a hassle for some people? I dont get it, content creators need our support, so why not support them?
I think its all those mouse clicks. They can be exhausting!

CARL 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Kicking off the channel without coffee anywhere to be seen. I have been bamboozled
why not do a collaboration with a coffee roaster and have some actual coffee to help with the atmosphere.
Damn, thats a great idea!
Wondering how much royalties you are getting per jacket sold.
