I think what they did with Guardians 3 was brilliant. To have all these characters dormant in the MCU just waiting to be used at the perfect moments is incredible.
Rocket definitely had a near death experience. Afterlife in the MCU has proven to be a cerebral experience that Taweret (Moon Knight) described as varying from person to person and beliefs.

I think using the Symbiotes (or Klyntar as spacefarers call them) in Guardians 4 would be a great story. What if Adam gets infected, and it changes his personality, drives him against the guardians, and takes the name "Magus"? Adam would be the perfect host, and he could become a rebellious teenager, rather than a child.
im really hoping that if they do decide to make another Guardians movie with the new group, they make sure they do it right and either somehow bring James Gunn to do it despite running the DCU now or have him appoint someone he feels is worthy to direct this amazing group of heroes

Head canon: the Infinity Stones have been influencing the Universe to create wielders for themselves. Wanda and Pietro were the intended wielders of the Reality and Time gems respectively, the Vision was always the intended wielder of the Mind gem. Captain Marvel is the intended wielder of the Space gem. Hulk is the intended wielder of the Power gem ("it's like I was made for this") Warlock was made for the Soul gem.

One, it seems to me that the plots of celestials would be harder for the stones to co-opt for their own purposes just because the celestials are themselves cosmic godlike entities. Two the powers Quill displays while not under the effects of the power stone aren't thematically what one would expect from someone created with synergy with the power stone in mind: both he and Ego have more matter-manipulation abilities that are more in line with what the Reality stone can do.
@@pallen2645 even though the power stone never created him you could say it chose him as their paths are closely tied together since he found it and was the first to wield it without dying it never created hulk either, and you could say hulk's ability to wield the stones was just because of his resistence to gamma radiation which isnt specific to any one stone you could also argue the stones never created wanda either and that was just her innate Scarlet Witch power which predates her presence to the stone and is the reason the bombs never killed her as a kid i just think peter would be a better fit since he'd have the ability to wield it and it's been tied to closely to him
He said “I am Groot” all the time, but the last “I am Groot” we as the viewer understand, like Gamora starting to understand him at the end of the movie as well. That was confirmed by director James Gunn. So the question is, whether we continue to understand him or not. 🤔

I think the exposure to the power stone on the twig that formed this Groot is what led to his size increase. We only saw Rocket pick up a remaining twig but maybe this was the only twig after the exposure to have life left, like a cosmic natural selection to allow the most powerful Groot to grow.
Ryan really needs to have cameos in the Phase 5 and 6 movies and shows. Maybe reference the video store in Captain Marvel, but have Ryan working in it... in every movie. Just a quick scene, like they did with Stan Lee.

I was hoping that Bug would show up in Quantumania as he is from the microverse. I was hoping that was who William Jackson Harper was playing and that they would set it up so he could join the Guardians.
It won’t happen sadly bug was supposed to be apart of the roster in guardians one but James could not use him and he then tried using him in each guardian project since but each time he couldn’t because marvel technically doesn’t own the rights to live action bug so James can’t use him and yes they could spend a million dollars or more to buy the rights but I don’t see them doing that for a character hardly anyone knows or cares about but I would have loved to have seen him in live action and wish there was some concept art or early versions of the scripts out there so we can know what he would have looked like and what role he would have played oh what could have been
Just need Nova now and I'll be happy. I wanted Cosmo, Warlock and Phylla Vell and we got them already. I'd much prefer the MCU to do a proper Venom to show Sony how to do it properly. They've been teasing Knull for a long time with the Necrosword and Gorr and whatnot, so I imagine eventually we'll see cosmic symbiotes, but I kind of want to see the Venom story done right for ONCE. They butchered it in Spider-Man 3, and they missed the mark big time on these Venom movies as well. I wanna see some respect for my all time favourite Marvel villain before we start doing spin-off versions.
If Beta Ray Bill & Gladiator join it would be super epic! The story lines of those two are infinite. Especially a World War Hulk versus Gladiator (such as in 1997 Sins of the Father) ONLY cavaet would be finding the right director & writer.
I think a Guardians Vol. 4 will be very unlikely, cause the Guardians were planned as a Trilogie since the first movie and it was James Gunns last Marvel Projekt (he changed to the dark side, DC). So I guess it’s over now. 😢 But of course they will appear in bigger movies later, hopefully
Another thing they could do.... In the comics this GotG had to deal with the alternate universe GotG (Starhawk, Major Victory). If they decide to go the route of introducing Sam Alexander first, having this GotG train him and then return him to Earth.. he could help with the formation of either The New Warriors or The Champions. Then in another zaney adventure of the GotG they have to deal with a rift opening up to the Cancerverse whereby on top evil versions of characters we know and love we also see an alternate universe GotG make their way into our world escaping the Cancerverse that they were stuck in. Amongst that alternate GotG could be characters we haven't seen yet like Bug, Moondragon, Nova (Richard Rider) and maybe even characters we have like an alternate version of Drax and/or Gamora played by different actors. That would be one way to evolve the team with more new characters before the chapter of the Multiverse Saga comes to a close.
Joe Keery is my favorite fan cast for anything!!! And Nova is one of my all time favorite comic characters juat in general so seeing one of my favorite actors play one of my favorite characters would be amazing

What about Stakar or his Ravager all-star team? In the original comics, they were the members of the Guardians. Except for Krugar (the "thumbs up" alien), who was the Sorcerer Supreme in the year 3000. Hell... Martinex had a small part as one of Gamora's crew, who worked with the Guardians, in volume 3.
Adam in the books also was the leader and founder of the infinity watch, a group which inherited the infinity "gems" stones. The group also included gamora, drax the destroyer, moondragon, pip the troll, and secretly included thanos who secretly became protector of the reality stone.
They wouldn't let a kid join space heroes? The girl at the end of Thor! Young Star Lord! Nebula and Gamora! Not to mention Adam is technically still a kid.
groots kind rely on the energy surrounding them, so he grew smarter stronger because of all the powerful beings surrounding him. for example quill was half celestial thats how groot absorbed so much strength, now they have adam warlock
i would be so hyped up if they do agent venom i loved tht entire storyline where he cleanses the symbiote and they bond fully and becomes a full fledged hero. i wished ironman was able to get one adventure with the guardians to get tht sweet armor top five armor for me.
Sean Gunn is also voicing G.I. Robot in Creature Commandos and presumably in live action at some point too whatever form that takes as either another fully CGI creation or using makeup. He's going to be busy.

Jensen Ackles for Johnny Blaze. Also, One of my favorite comic issues was when Venom starts getting space crazy and starts taking over the other Guardians one by one and basically created a horror story on their ship.
Jack flag is a very possible character to join the new team and a character I feel should have been mentioned here jack flag is also from earth and was a member of the guardians in the comics we know that quill is currently on earth after the events of vol three so maybe he meets jack flag becomes friends then he joins the guardians of the galaxy
I have a theory the gem/stone in Adam's forehead is the Ego stone. It would make perfect sense. Thanos already had enough of an ego he knew what he wanted: the six stones. What if didn't know there were 7? Or someone just never trusted to tell him? And considering the Golden people are so in love with themselves, thinking they and everything they own are superior, it has the Ego stone written all over it. I could easily be wrong. But I'd love to see if that was Thanos's one flaw, not tracking down *all* the stones possible, but only the ones he knew of or desired most
Groot's growth is measured by the strength of the people around him. Like a hive growings system his people had. Some tribes were larger than others because of this. This simply means that this team is basically 8x stronger than the OGs. Edit: Also Ghost rider is the most powerful character in the MCU......confirmed by Stan Lee. Can you imagine the size of Groot then?😮
I hope we see the Guardians again. I know they'll turn up in other movies but giving a new team an adventure would be great. Phyla-Vell will no doubt get the Cassie Lang treatment (as will a few Young Avengers I imagine) and I'd be surprised to see Kraglin return. It would be fun to see Nova as part of the team, like Ryan says his whole backstop has happened off-screen. Having that continue as almost a running joke could work for just having him already an established member of the team.
I actually wouldn't mind them continuing the guardians franchise ,there's a lot to work with there's, alotta members they can introduce an alotta villains they can flush out.

I think Phyla-Vell power is that of the high evolutionary that's why they are the same color. I think the high evolutionary choose her to be the leader and gave her the power to lead her people .
I'm no comic book expert but I did hear from another source that groots kind will absorb the energy of the people that are around them hence starlord and mantis two celestials and Thor being god had tons of energy to spare so grout grew large thanks to spending much time with them
I'm sure that the High Evolutionary would have sought to examine all lifeforms throughout his many years of existence of which could be the Kree. Per the comics the Kree were always stuck (by their own assessment) from evolving like so many other species has... I assuming particularly as it relates to powers. It could be that the Kree commissioned the High Evolutionary to study their DNA and ascertain a way to jumpstart their evolutionary ladder. And it might be conceivable that they would use the DNA of Mar-Vell aka Wendy Lawson from the Captain Marvel film. Although we only know her as she exists to mentor Carol in the 90s the Kree would likely have her genetics on file as they all connect to the AI, The Supreme Intelligence. We know she died at the hands of Yon-Rogg who abducted Carol and kept her in an amnesiac state regarding her origins, brainwashing her to believe she was Kree so that they might use her as a weapon one day. But given that Carol derives her powers from Mar-Vell's use of the Tesseract to create a unique engine that she planned to gift to the Skrulls, it is conceivable that the Kree might think there is a unique path to great intelligence locked within her DNA and they may be the only ones that could (at this point given the High Evolutionary's ship is destroyed) ID Phyla-Vell's unique DNA link to Mar-Vell. It would also be interesting to see if within his captives was a Dragon like figure who escaped but has remained hidden in the shadows of Knowhere. This figure could be The Dragon of the Moon who could at this point be bonded to the being known as Moondragon (whose humanoid form is trapped within) who they may or may not set up to be Drax's daughter (as she was in the comics). And given that Mantis has left it would also be cool if among the Ani-Men there were also Insect-Men, aka Bug who was a founding member of the GotG in the comics as well.
My roster would have been Starlord, Rocket, Groot, Starfox, Adam, Sam Alexander (Richard Rider rebuilding Nova corps), Darkhawk, Moondragon, Phylla Vell, and Nikki from the video game
I could totally see Monica Rambeau in post credits scene being found by Rocket. I think Cosmic Ghost Rider is waaaay too ambitious for the MCU. Maybe a what if... Agent Venom, same thing as Cosmic Ghost Rider. Not going to happen in MCU. Beta Ray Bill, Photon, Moondragon, and possibly any/some of the Eternals are most likely.
Drax was created by Thanos' grandfather who became a cosmic entity after a lab accident. Another Marvel superhero that reminds about Peter Parker is Gravity. I dislike how Marvel is just using Mephisto as a tool to reshape reality whenever it suits them. As for villains, I would like to see Galaxy Master (or "Mouth Monster" as Hulk calls him).
They need to get Bug in there. Assembling a bunch of overpowered characters would make them too much like the Avengers. The Guardians are weird and, at their best, extremely alien. Bug is great for bouncing around in a fight and they could have him lean into his bugginess.
If Doctor Strange had been a Guardian, he would have the most seniority. It is estimated that he spent thousands of years traveling in the future when he was scanning the 14 million potential futures to find the one where the Avengers win. This definitely make him the longest serving Avenger. More than the rest combined, actually.
So what if... Adam Warlock gets his stone either charged or replaced by another Soul Stone from another timeline or universe (since they keep them in a box at the TVA ) that only work outside of the TVA. Just a thought
2013 Guardians of the Galaxy/Tomorrow's Avengers/Cosmic Avengers/Galactic Avengers was what they were known as when they had Iron Man on their team. Then, you had the Legendary Star-Lord go on his own adventures after the team split up.

I think Guardians of the Galaxy 4 will not exist as a part of the main GotG series we know for. GotG starts with Peter Quill and ends with Peter Quill. It also starts with James Gunn and ends with James Gunn

Hi Ryan, just a quick question, do you think GoTG still know Peter parker as Spiderman? I watched GoTG3 last weekend and I am re-watching Spiderman: no way home. I realised when dr.Strange is casting his spell, the Runes of Kof-kol, he said "the entire WORLD's about to forget that Peter Parker is Spiderman" he didn't say WORLDS or reality, does this mean GoTG still knows Peter Parker as Spiderman?
did they know who he was before though? i'm not sure they would have done. maybe thor might have known though - as stark talked about everyone saying he was wrong to get a kid on the team. also i think maybe there could be communications from stark to happy that he'd find again
I love the idea of Cosmic Ghost Rider joining the MCU but I think if it's an alternate Frank Castle, they should bring back Thomas Jane for that role.
I would've love if Bug was in the new team. it also would be a cool idea if he was one of High Evolutionary's experiments too and it would also make him one of the survivers when counter earth was exploded
I was hoping that Bug would show up in Quantumania as he is from the microverse. I was hoping that was who William Jackson Harper was playing and that they would set it up so he could join the Guardians.
It won’t happen sadly bug was supposed to be apart of the roster in guardians one but James could not use him and he then tried using him in each guardian project since but each time he couldn’t because marvel technically doesn’t own the rights to live action bug so James can’t use him and yes they could spend a million dollars or more to buy the rights but I don’t see them doing that for a character hardly anyone knows or cares about but I would have loved to have seen him in live action and wish there was some concept art or early versions of the scripts out there so we can know what he would have looked like and what role he would have played oh what could have been

I'd much prefer the MCU to do a proper Venom to show Sony how to do it properly. They've been teasing Knull for a long time with the Necrosword and Gorr and whatnot, so I imagine eventually we'll see cosmic symbiotes, but I kind of want to see the Venom story done right for ONCE. They butchered it in Spider-Man 3, and they missed the mark big time on these Venom movies as well. I wanna see some respect for my all time favourite Marvel villain before we start doing spin-off versions.

If Beta Ray Bill & Gladiator join it would be super epic! The story lines of those two are infinite. Especially a World War Hulk versus Gladiator (such as in 1997 Sins of the Father) ONLY cavaet would be finding the right director & writer.
I think a Guardians Vol. 4 will be very unlikely, cause the Guardians were planned as a Trilogie since the first movie and it was James Gunns last Marvel Projekt (he changed to the dark side, DC). So I guess it’s over now. 😢 But of course they will appear in bigger movies later, hopefully

Another thing they could do.... In the comics this GotG had to deal with the alternate universe GotG (Starhawk, Major Victory). If they decide to go the route of introducing Sam Alexander first, having this GotG train him and then return him to Earth.. he could help with the formation of either The New Warriors or The Champions. Then in another zaney adventure of the GotG they have to deal with a rift opening up to the Cancerverse whereby on top evil versions of characters we know and love we also see an alternate universe GotG make their way into our world escaping the Cancerverse that they were stuck in.
Amongst that alternate GotG could be characters we haven't seen yet like Bug, Moondragon, Nova (Richard Rider) and maybe even characters we have like an alternate version of Drax and/or Gamora played by different actors. That would be one way to evolve the team with more new characters before the chapter of the Multiverse Saga comes to a close.

What about Stakar or his Ravager all-star team? In the original comics, they were the members of the Guardians. Except for Krugar (the "thumbs up" alien), who was the Sorcerer Supreme in the year 3000.
Hell... Martinex had a small part as one of Gamora's crew, who worked with the Guardians, in volume 3.
Adam in the books also was the leader and founder of the infinity watch, a group which inherited the infinity "gems" stones. The group also included gamora, drax the destroyer, moondragon, pip the troll, and secretly included thanos who secretly became protector of the reality stone.

groots kind rely on the energy surrounding them, so he grew smarter stronger because of all the powerful beings surrounding him. for example quill was half celestial thats how groot absorbed so much strength, now they have adam warlock
i would be so hyped up if they do agent venom i loved tht entire storyline where he cleanses the symbiote and they bond fully and becomes a full fledged hero. i wished ironman was able to get one adventure with the guardians to get tht sweet armor top five armor for me.
With Groot, they could bring out his origin story. How he was on the planet-X, how he met a human there, how they escaped etc.
The “Teddy bear doll” of the high evo in the pram/stroller on counter earth still creeps me out.
Sean Gunn is also voicing G.I. Robot in Creature Commandos and presumably in live action at some point too whatever form that takes as either another fully CGI creation or using makeup. He's going to be busy.
You should really change the thumbnail, ive seen the film and im sure many have, but to spoil a movie publically after about a week from release is really scummy, at least blur the characters.

Also, One of my favorite comic issues was when Venom starts getting space crazy and starts taking over the other Guardians one by one and basically created a horror story on their ship.
Jack flag is a very possible character to join the new team and a character I feel should have been mentioned here jack flag is also from earth and was a member of the guardians in the comics we know that quill is currently on earth after the events of vol three so maybe he meets jack flag becomes friends then he joins the guardians of the galaxy
I have a theory the gem/stone in Adam's forehead is the Ego stone. It would make perfect sense. Thanos already had enough of an ego he knew what he wanted: the six stones. What if didn't know there were 7? Or someone just never trusted to tell him?
And considering the Golden people are so in love with themselves, thinking they and everything they own are superior, it has the Ego stone written all over it. I could easily be wrong. But I'd love to see if that was Thanos's one flaw, not tracking down *all* the stones possible, but only the ones he knew of or desired most
Groot's growth is measured by the strength of the people around him. Like a hive growings system his people had. Some tribes were larger than others because of this.
This simply means that this team is basically 8x stronger than the OGs.
Edit: Also Ghost rider is the most powerful character in the MCU......confirmed by Stan Lee. Can you imagine the size of Groot then?😮
I hope we see the Guardians again. I know they'll turn up in other movies but giving a new team an adventure would be great.
Phyla-Vell will no doubt get the Cassie Lang treatment (as will a few Young Avengers I imagine) and I'd be surprised to see Kraglin return.
It would be fun to see Nova as part of the team, like Ryan says his whole backstop has happened off-screen. Having that continue as almost a running joke could work for just having him already an established member of the team.
I actually wouldn't mind them continuing the guardians franchise ,there's a lot to work with there's, alotta members they can introduce an alotta villains they can flush out.

I think Phyla-Vell power is that of the high evolutionary that's why they are the same color. I think the high evolutionary choose her to be the leader and gave her the power to lead her people .

I'm no comic book expert but I did hear from another source that groots kind will absorb the energy of the people that are around them hence starlord and mantis two celestials and Thor being god had tons of energy to spare so grout grew large thanks to spending much time with them

I'm sure that the High Evolutionary would have sought to examine all lifeforms throughout his many years of existence of which could be the Kree. Per the comics the Kree were always stuck (by their own assessment) from evolving like so many other species has... I assuming particularly as it relates to powers. It could be that the Kree commissioned the High Evolutionary to study their DNA and ascertain a way to jumpstart their evolutionary ladder.
And it might be conceivable that they would use the DNA of Mar-Vell aka Wendy Lawson from the Captain Marvel film. Although we only know her as she exists to mentor Carol in the 90s the Kree would likely have her genetics on file as they all connect to the AI, The Supreme Intelligence.
We know she died at the hands of Yon-Rogg who abducted Carol and kept her in an amnesiac state regarding her origins, brainwashing her to believe she was Kree so that they might use her as a weapon one day.
But given that Carol derives her powers from Mar-Vell's use of the Tesseract to create a unique engine that she planned to gift to the Skrulls, it is conceivable that the Kree might think there is a unique path to great intelligence locked within her DNA and they may be the only ones that could (at this point given the High Evolutionary's ship is destroyed) ID Phyla-Vell's unique DNA link to Mar-Vell.
It would also be interesting to see if within his captives was a Dragon like figure who escaped but has remained hidden in the shadows of Knowhere. This figure could be The Dragon of the Moon who could at this point be bonded to the being known as Moondragon (whose humanoid form is trapped within) who they may or may not set up to be Drax's daughter (as she was in the comics).
And given that Mantis has left it would also be cool if among the Ani-Men there were also Insect-Men, aka Bug who was a founding member of the GotG in the comics as well.

They need to get Bug in there. Assembling a bunch of overpowered characters would make them too much like the Avengers. The Guardians are weird and, at their best, extremely alien. Bug is great for bouncing around in a fight and they could have him lean into his bugginess.
If Doctor Strange had been a Guardian, he would have the most seniority.
It is estimated that he spent thousands of years traveling in the future when he was scanning the 14 million potential futures to find the one where the Avengers win.
This definitely make him the longest serving Avenger. More than the rest combined, actually.
