PNR Bicol Express Sleeper Coaches hauled by DEL 921 going South (December 20, 2020)

- To give way to the upcoming arrival of the 3 new trainsets of PNR from PT INKA in Indonesia (3 DHLs and 15 passenger coaches), some unused rolling stocks parked at Tutuban Yard needs to be relocated somewhere else along the Main Line South to have more space at Tutuban for the new trains to park.
These past weeks, the transferring of unused flat cars, gondola cars, and box cars have already commenced and were already transferred to San Pedro Yard. Then the unused former Bicol Commuter Train (BCT) coaches and a former Bicol Express (BEx) reclining coach were already moved to Calamba Yard.
Finally now, the former 14 series a.k.a Bicol Express Sleeper coaches (both family sleepers and executive sleepers) were going to be transferred also at Calamba Yard.
Train configuration: DEL 921 + 14-755 + 14-30 + 14-752 + 14-91 + 14-63 + 14-28.
Location: General Santos Ave. Crossing, near PNR Bicutan Station.

i dont think these specific ones can be salvaged seeing theyre in rough shape, although we are the japan's trashcan after all so if the current double decker cars get replaced it would surely go to us

Wish these could be refurbished, and used again sa North-South rail. I'd love to ride them kahit once man lang in my lifetime.

this kind of sound indicates something wrong with the horn that the horn doesn't sound as it should. this kind of error was also widespread in many locos in indonesia during the 2000s, indonesian railfans called it "klakson bengek" or "asthma sounded horn".....but since jonan's reform in early 2010s this phenomenon is gone.....
I wish this will be restored into fully working service. Bicol services can be possible since the LSI trains.
The new paintjob of the family sleepers and new polycarbonate windows suggests they will be used again at least for the interim before PNR South Longhaul starts service?
Dapat I rehab muna mga riles at I clear illegal housing. Kahit anong bago ng train kung poorly maintained ang system sorry pero wala rin. Look at japans railway system outside Tokyo outdated na pero well maintained

I didn't know there were already double-deck coaches in PNR.
They are Executive Coaches. Used for Naga, Ligao Trips (Not sure if Executive Coaches are serves trips to Ligao)
To be honest PNR should think about reclaiming the land around the rail's for the safety of others & properly sort out the rail's before a train de-rail's & causes a massive accident.
I think with the new NSCR line they will rehabilitate these stations and ROW. Solutions ,like fencing and laws regarding buildings structures adjacent to the rail fences or must be in several meters away.

Mawawala yang sa Bicutan dahil 'tatayuan nyan ng bagong viaducts at station ng NSCR. Pero hindi yan sakop ng Bicol Express or long haul railway.
Medyo delayed nga lang yung additional pahse ng NSCR project papunta ng Calamba. Mag sasabay dyan ang Line 9 kasi designed na maging interoperable ang Line 9 Subway at NSCR.

It's still on storage. It cannot return to service as the PNR had ceased operations on long travel, which means it's useless at this point.

Kalau saja kereta dan lokasi relnya di bersihkan pasti kelihatan bagus. Mereka aja sudah punya mrt sejak tahun 1982. Tapi ya masalahnya jorok. Gak dibersihkan. Padahal badan kereta bisa jadi lahan uang disewakan untuk sticker. Begitu juga terminalnya. Jadi bisa kelihatan bersih berganti2 sticker tiap bulan dan menghasilkan uang juga.

@@HyperTastic No they will not just left it to rot there, the windows are fitted with Polycarb glass Just like the Inka, Rotem, EMU, DEL.. But according to my friends ho have contact with PNR, the percentage or chance of them repairing them is very low.

Hindi naman po actually pinabayaan. Hindi lang talaga magamit pero ngayong may pa Bicol na biyahe na irerehabilitate na nila yan or baka palitan nalang din nila ng inorder ng Pamahalaan na mas bagong bagon galing Japan na dadating sa first quarter ata ng 2021.

@@RedRedRed0-0 Walang bagong bagon na galing sa Japan para sa long-haul railway lines papunta sa Bicol dahil under ng Chinese ODA yung project na yan. Yung sakop ng Japanese ODA project eh yung NSCR na hanggang Calamba lang yun.
Meron nang bagong trainsets para dito. Yung nga lang ang tagal nga lang ng start ng construction neto. Hindi ko lang sure ano ang issue. Pero nag simula na silang mag relocate ng mga squatters sa ibang area ng PNR ROW. So mukhang tuloy talaga ang project. Ang dami kasing squatter na dapat ma relocate.
