Yep! The best. I have a list of several great guitar duos. And Watson / Gillis is way up there on my list. I loved how these guys played together, and complimented each other. Jeff Watson is my favorite, and one of my all-time fave guitarists. Period. I love his style. And to me, he and Kelly were the heart and soul of NR. Jack and Brad right there though. What a Band!

I listened to ALL their stuff. Pro level musician and made my living doing that (still poor lol), but these guys Watson & Gillis were so incredible for their time. Playing some of these covers note for note was no easy task. The songs were great, the guitar playing though was so much better than they were getting credit for back in the day. Same here though, every time I listen to this it takes me way back. It's like a time machine. For a while in my Camaro I had ALL their tapes and friends would even get sick of hearing it over and over through my Night Ranger phase lmao!
As I'm listening all the lyrics come back to me, even the notation of the solos, it's amazing, like it was last week!

Jack was a really nice guy in Asheville on the Big Life tour. When I asked to come backstage and showed the roadies my numbered NR fan club card, Jack said it was all right. The band only had a few minutes to spare, but they signed my glossy photo I bought from the fan club -- sadly stolen years later. I've followed his career with great interest, though I think this period and Shaw-Blades are his best work.

I love their crazy antics, the classic cheesy moves like the guitar neck swings at each other, and the raw energy that each member gives off in every note they play. Saw Night Ranger on Friday night, 11 November 2022 in Nashville, Indiana at the Brown County Music Center.. first time ever seeing the band... (I was in 13 when "Dawn Patrol" was released... ;) Jack Blades, Kelly Keagy, and Brad Gillis still in the band... JB is 68, KK is 70, BG is 65... they sounded great... played and moved like a band half that age... amazingly good show...

Caught that tour as well. Rick Springfield puts on a great show, seen him many times but Night Ranger ruled the stage that night. The crowd wanted way more than the hour they played. Awesome stuff.

Man this brings back great memories of my late teens. Hard to believe all this time has passed so quickly. Talk about sentimental ? Damn I miss these days and the great music they provided.

Ok, I had forgotten just how many ballers of songs they have and how good they sounded live. Saw this tour in ‘85, the soundtrack of my teens.
Sentimental Streets seems to have a lot more meaning now.

Listen, I've seen quite a few bands over the years and I wish I would have had the chance to see this tour back then. Freshman in high school at that time. The song 7 Wishes is one of my favorite of ALL TIME.

I was there from the very start…I was in junior high, and the first time I heard “Don’t Tell Me You Love Me,” I was actually watching the video at a friends house. Phenomenal. I’ve caught them a few times in concert, the first was 83/84 (?) on the ‘Midnight Madness’ tour, and they ended with “You can still rock” and “don’t tell me.” Unreal. All 5 of those guys are just pure showmen.

Sounds like the Gary Moon era in the 90s when NR got relegated to a bar band. I saw them during that period as well. Good to see they weathered the awful grunge period and associated turmoil for 80s bands. Their recent stuff is high quality.
