I’ve been watching for a long time. It’s always sad when your favorite doesn’t go through, especially when they are among the best vocalists. FWIW: Just because Kayko’s name was the last called doesn’t mean that’s where he fell in the voting. Except for last two, names are called “in no particular order.”
I realise that, yeah. It's just that I don't know how much time voters have to vote for the last two or so singers, before voting closes...

I think we each choose our favorites early on. Voting begins at start of show through last commercial. We can text, vote on app and/or online. I think the last person up may be at a slight disadvantage, but honestly, savvy AI fans know they close out with the performer who producers think has the strongest performance. The worst spot, according to those who track these things, is actually the opener. P.S. Love your reaction videos.
Voting is open at the beginning of the show before anyone starts or finishes, so basically, it's just a popularity contest. Most country singers win the show because those are the folks that vote, white middle America.
Unfortunately AI had become more a popularity contest than a talent competition. There are huge voting blocks out there voting singers through not so much on their talent but coz they simply like & identify with how the singer looks & his/her genre.

To your comment about the short voting window, people absolutely are voting for their favorite before they hear the performance. When the show opens, they put up a board with all the contestants and instructions as to how to vote for them. So, in that sense the performance itself doesn't matter. Abi could sing '99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall' with a kazoo band and she'd still get the votes. By this time in the show, it's a popularity contest.
Still hectic watching this after finding out! I agree that vocally /talent Jayna should have gone thru.but again, folks connection to the artists & performance -genre is most likely why. vocals isn't first (go figure) .Congrats to "each" of them .Even the two that WONT move forward .Still, quite an achievement ,Right? They could still get selected from a record label !!!Loved your reactions!!!

It used to be “ Kira dim the lights.” It’s only been Tom for a couple of years. Also on one episode Ryan Seacrest said to Kayko was that he was one of the few contestants that he didn’t have to look up to.

I agree with the voters on the top 6 of Will, Tristan, Emmie, Jack, Abi and Julia. I was a little surprised that Nya and Mia got eliminated as early as they did, but I don’t feel they were top 6 material in any case. I have not been impressed by McKenna the whole time.
Lol! Kaiko is quite short, but he's looking that short cause Jordan is huge! Did you notice Ryan barely goes past Jordan's shoulders? I get those results... Even though Nya's voice is amazing, I get it. But the top 10 results really hurt. I think it's because the city people don't vote as much, whereas the country people do. If city people really did vote, I believe the results would be quite different. Neverthless, I agree with the saying "life happens for us, not to us", so I find comfort in knowing that they are all experiencing exactly what they need to, at each moment, no matter the results.

agree with you about kayko and will mosely, mckenna and Abi are not that good and stay in tune, we all know that

To say Jayna is the best singer really makes me wonder about your taste in music. Her artistry and individualty and her good instincts for music are pretty much non existent. Very much evidenced by her total ruination of the song Diamonds. That was just a shit show of awful runs strung together with no appreciation for what makes that song good. A big pile of awful sounding runs over a simple and beautiful melody and words. So I have to disagree with your statement about her being the best singer. Of the 12 I felt she was the worst.
I checked your YT Channel and then understood why you said what you said. You are old school...very old school. Jayna is TECHNICALLY the best vocalist in this contest better even than Julia or Nya. Your qualms with Jayna is artistic and that is subjective. Technically speaking Jayna has chops that is A grade level. She never missed a note unlike the others who have vocal skills nowhere near Jayna like McKennna or Emmy (whom both I love dearly). I checked out your covers and I bet Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey are not among your musical idols. I suspect your musical heroes are more along the lines of Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, Joan Baez, Joni Mitchell et. al. Technique is objective and Jayna has it by the tonnes. Style is subjective and that is a matter of preference and taste. Mind you Jayna is not my favourite singer in the contest. Emmy and McKenna are but technically speaking they are both nowhere near Jayna's vocal prowess but I connect with those two more than Jayna.
