I watch quilting videos all the time but for some reason you inspire me so much! Thank you for that. I wish we lived in the same country and could be quilting friends in person!
Dang it Corrine! We’re not even in the country?!?!? That’s a bummer🫤. I love your comment, it made a big smile on my face. 😁. Thank you for watching my channel, I look forward to hearing from you again 😍❣️
I hear you, yesterday when before I finished filming the closing segment, in my grey shirt, I had just come in from weed whacking a huge area in our back yard, I was sweaty and my hair was full of dirt. I was so tired I put on a clean shirt, quilted one last quilt, filmed my closing then showered before I sat down! Winter will be glorious when there is a break from yard work. Have a nice relaxing evening, lol! It's nice to hear from you :)
Very encouraging video! But first, I have to "find" my sewing room! AARRRGGHHH!!! It has become the hospital room for all of my grandson's toys that need repair, and a drop off point for anything I don't want to deal with just yet. Soon, my grandson will be going to a day care so he can play with new friends and grandma gets to stay home and play with some old "friends" my fabrics and UFO's, WIP's! Thank you for the video. It is likes and subscribed to. Oh! BTW...I have the same Juki. I LOVE it!
Ha, ha, ha...that makes me laugh and I undeerstand. My granduaghter like ot hang out with me when I sew and I find her little treasues and characters all ove rmy sewing room. And yoy have the same Juki?!?!? I'll be your new best friend :) Thank you for subscribing and watching my channel!! Di
No, the quilting community is loaded down with WIP’s in fact that video was made a year ago and I have a huge WIP list again. I’ll probably make another vid because I will def get them finished. Thanks for watching😊❤️🐥
Everyone could use a sister chicken whipping their WIPs into shape. My only tip is after writing down a list, number them in order of priority. Take breaks of course and a treat for every 3 items you get done. I set myself 2 items per week I really want done. Especially from WIPS pile. It's kinder to start with a small list. Di you are one inspirational lady. 🇦🇺💜🇺🇲💚😊👍🖐
Thank you for your kind words Anita. In a perfect works there would be no WIP’s, now that’s a thought🤣😂🤣‼️ I’ll stick to my world though and eat chocolate. Have a great week😊
Wow - what a productive weekend! I love love love the argyle binding and argyle socks, too. I'm writing my WIPS down right now. Thank you for the tips. April
Use the metal zipper as the opening of the pillow. Sew all 4 sides and slip the pillow in and zip it up. You could always "tack" the zipper closed at the top after you insert the pillow. Snip the threads if it needs washing. I did this with a flannel memory pillow. I used the buttons instead of an envelope opening. I am taking a scenic panel and I'm going to make a roman shade for my bathroom window using that for the front and insulation fabric. Wish me luck! I've never made a roman shade. If this one goes well, I have another bathroom and a kitchen window. With winter coming and oil prices sky high, I'm trying to replace some lightweight curtains.
Smart work to do a curtain changeover. We all need to reassess our homes for thermal efficiency in summer and winter no matter where in the world we live.
Brenda, I think today I’m going to finish that pillow. Great suggestions. I’ve made several Roman shades, and love making window coverings. My rule for those R measure 27 times and then cut. Ha ha ha! Here it comes, good luck🤞🏼🍀🧧 it’ll turn out great. Thank you for watching my channel, I really appreciate it.😍‼️
I did and frankly, I'm still feeling the excitement about getting eveything I did done. You are so welcome and I want to thank you for watching my channel and commenting Jess, I appreciate you.
I found that having an honest talk with myself is helpful. Do I still like the thing? Did I find the project a pain because I didn't like it from the start? I now give the poor thing to someone who will like it or we have a ufo exchange once in a while which is a lot of fun. To
What an inspiration!! Thanks for the boost to keep working on my wip’s . I have at least 15 ready to go to the quilter and about ten projects curated and ready to dive into. I turned 75 last Thanksgiving, so I’ve gotta make progress to make it through my stash before arthritis steals the ability to hold a needle! Keep making your lovely quilts and sharing them with us. Btw, my little granddaughters LOVE your chick! Me too, darned HOA won’t let us keep hens☹️
You are an inspiration too, Pat ❗️I hope to be as active as you when I’m your age. Thanks to your grandaughter and you for loving Sister and watching my videos😊 🐥🐥
I make a list for all my sewing and house jobs. a list is a must. I have to buy a new timer because my timer is so old I cannot hear the bell any more. thank you. God bless.
Yeah….I need to make one for my household🥴, it’s just easier to not do it 😬😳. Your comment inspired me. I’m going to write a list for my day when I finish answering these comments. Thank you for the motivation and for watching my channel too😍❣️
Way to go getting unfinished projects done. I have three quilt tops that had to get finished and made a promise to myself, get them done before starting something new. Well two done, working on my last one. Thanks for sharing your hurtles. 👍❤️😊
OK! That was fantastic! Right now, I am hand quilting a queen-sized quilt for my husband's oldest son. It has been a challenge for me because my husband wanted it to be Star Wars. But not just that but include specifically a portrait of the original Obi-Won character. And Darth Vader. Something I have never done. I am still thinking about that part. Plus, of course, it needs their color light sabers that will glow in the dark. The back is all pieced Hawaiian prints and Aquatic prints with a large band of whales, surrounded by fishes and corals and some Hawaiian scenes. Sometimes I wonder why I build quilts like I do, but it is truly me building with fabric and threads, maybe a bit of glow in the dark paint and thread as well, created from ideas and love.
Oh MY!!! YOu have your work cut out for you on the Star Wars quilt! You should name your quilt, Aloha Darth and Obi Wan! Are you hand piecing or just hand quilting? Either way its a lot of work. Good luck and when you get it done I'd love to see it. Will yo uemail me a photo? My email is onmy website. Thanks for commenting and watching my channel Julie, I appreciate it!!!
Thanks Michelle! It's a quilt I did to teach color and to play with April Story. The block is called a Jacobs Ladder. Here's the video: th-cam.com/video/WBah4--StMw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=c4h9Tnvj_8X6dI4z Thanks for watching my channel! :)
Hey Marti, thanks for chiming in 😊. I finished a piece today but my fave from my list is the personal sewing time, I’m loving that 😍❣️Thanks for watching my channel👍🏼‼️
Thank u for sharing ur goal list & ur fast videos of progressing on projects on ur list. I appreciate ur good positive attitude & that u r motovated to complete those projects that have been sitting on the side for awhile. I am encouraged to happily go thru my project bags & totes & make my happy to do list of projects to finish. I am happily inspired🥳
It feels good when a task is completed and out of the way. Maybe you need to set up a system so at the end of the month you check around for WIP's. I am amazed at how long it can take to make things. Ironing, cutting, sewing, ironing, squaring up, sewing, ironing up, sashing, border, quilting then a binding. Phew. The timer is good idea, for when you need that bit of motivation to just get going. I have a few WIP'S, tops mainly, as I don't have the money at the moment for batting and backing. But yes, a list of them to finish is a reality check. Sew on.🙂
Yes Katty, it does take a lot of time and steps to make a quilt. I'm like you, breaking down the steps before I put them on the list its much easier and those check marks; you get more, ha, ha, ha. I also love to take on tasks in micro bursts because it;s easier for me to focus. Thank you for watcing my channel and quilt on !!
I'm considering looking around for wooĺ blankets to use as batting as it is an expensive hobby. I only bought a full bolt of 80/20 batting on special. It get used when I have no other alternative for my small projects.
Just love your WIF video. So glad I subscribed to your channel. I would love to do many of your projects. So many cute ideas. Can't wait for the next video.
I love and use the list method myself. Its hard to be real and honest (and admit) but once its down on paper you can tackle everything. The only good thing from the shutdown 2 yrs ago (im a foodserver so restaurants were closed) is i was at home 24/7 and the best time to sew and quilt. I had 15 new and not too old UFOs and got the last one done and knew i had the perfect black for binding and i looked in a tote and found it….plus 3 more UFOs lol so in total 18 quilts done. And to never be there again i try not to start anything new except a BOM until my current is on the longarm..did i say “try” lol ok i have 2 going right now…💚💚💚
@@AnitaSouthall and as quilters with a stash (i had a roll of batting too) we have trained for this havent we? Lol i enjoyed staying home for 4 mos the first round and 2 mos a few months later when the numbers spiked again. So ive decided it was my test run for retirement and as a food server there is no pension so my shopping now is my getting enough to last me a while cuz once i retire i cant afford new pretty fabrics lol.. i should be good till im 125 Lol
18 Quilts Tracy! That’s awesome, what a record😍. It sounds like you’ve got a 401F, fabric saved for retirement. lol 😂. I love working from my stash, it feels so good. Thank you for watching my channel I really really appreciate it😊❣️
@@sisterchicksquilting thank you, yes i was pretty proud of myself. I did purchase the Prostitcher for my HQ so figured better get them all done to justify it Lol. I love your channel and get inspiration so thank you for that. 💚💚
Thank you for the inspirational video. All of your projects are very nice. I have used the 30 min timer as well but mainly to do jobs that i dislike, housework for example. 😂😂😂 . I have 5 WIPS. I better get started.
WooHoo!!! Green binding - DONE!! Good for you! How inspiring and this method can be used on everything. Household chores, smaller craft projects that never seem to get done. I'm TRYING to put together an indoor fairy garden and do you think I can get it finished. I'm always sidetracked. I've been doing my lists opposite to you by writing things down AS I FINISH THEM!! That's not working for me. So I'll try your method. I don't know who's more excited about finishing all those quilts, etc. Me or you! LOLOL Thanks for sharing and hugs from Canada!!
I love your comment Cheryl! I’m easily sidetracked to and got a big laugh over you writing a list after the project. I’ve Also done it before, so I could get a checkmark✔️😂🤣😂 I love those Canadian hugs😍🇨🇦🤗, sending you back Idaho hugs🥔🇺🇸🤗 Thank you so much for watching my videos😊❣️
Just finished a Grandmothers Flower Garden quilt which had been hanging around for years- what a weight off! I find it is out of sight out of mind- always have two WIPs out so that they remind me they are waiting....
My gosh, you plowed through that pile of WIPs like a true Wonder Woman. I also took notice of how you now seem like a real professional video blogger when I think back to how nervous your were in your early posts. I liked every quilt (esp. the Santa). I bought that cute animal panel you showed. There is still some of the fabrics on Etsy that coordinate with the panel. Your friend's pattern is so cute. Keep on binding and checking WIPs off your list. You are amazing!
Well, it was the shirt, I swear, lol! I really appreciate you comment about my my videos, that means a lot to me 😊! What are you going to do with your cute animal panel? I'd love to hear what you're going to make. I'll check out Etsy today, I'm also going on a FART today and guess what is my a bagin my car!!! Yes, the panel. Thanks for watching my channel and commenting on it, I appreciate you!!!
Great video. Yes, we all have those WIPs don't we? I've used the timer in the past and forgot about it so it was nice to see a reminder. Yes, those increments of time do add up don't they? Thanks for the inspiration and reality check.
Thank you Kelly, that’s so very kind. Do you have Facebook or Instagram? You can share pictures with me through those apps are or email me through my website. I’d love to see what you’re working on. I love Halloween! Thank you for watching my channel😊‼️
I’m going on a retreat in about a month…you’ve inspired me to make a wip list as I figure out what projects to take! Thanks for the 30 minute timer suggestion too.
I had a large tote filled with quilt tops that needed to be quilted. The pandemic hit and I decided to take them to my longarmer a couple at a time. A few months later they were all quilted and bound. It was such a great feeling to have them all completed and ready to use. Loved this video lots of good advice.
Thanks Christine😊‼️ my girlfriend‘s husband is from Melbourne. Next time they go over I’ll see about hitching a ride with them so I can hang out with you in your sewing room‼️ i’d love that😊‼️
You work fast. I spend so much time ripping and fixing errors😣 But in time & with practice I’ll get better. You showed me something today that I’m going to be using a lot! Timer & a list!!
I do spend a lot of time fixing and ripping errors Gloria. I just don’t film all of it, ha, ha, ha! The timer and a list have been a game changer for me getting things done. I appreciate you watching my channel, thank you😊❣️
Watching this video, I had a brain Storm. I have always wanted a home of my own. I will soon will be 68, and I know I will never have my life long dream. I only caught a glimpse of the gnome quilt and thought it was a home quilt I felt so stupid when you unfolded that quilt. LOL. I am going to make a quilt ( twin size) with a big house in the middle, and in each corner I am going to make a tree block. I will call it a home of my own in the woods. Please give me your opinion, or suggestions for my quilt.
I think your idea is genius Rosemary! Have an adventure putting it together, audition fabrics unitl you get it just the way you want it. Then, enjoy every minute of sewing and quilting it. When you are finished you will have cherished memories of the time you built/quilted your own home. Please email me pictures of your home, I would love to see it!
That's coolio Julie, I'm kind of over it and only work for family and friends. But....would love to be only a quilter :) Another quilter who is a viewer is coming to my retreat in Ocotber, if you come I could offer CE credit, ha, ha, ha! Thanks for watching my channel :) !!
I loved this video! Today I put together leftover blocks into mini quilts for my walls. Then I bordered a small quilt. I had your mindset. I had my list. I just need to add a timer! Thanks for the video and inspiration.
Thanks for the gentle prod today! I started watching this at work. When I came home I brushed the cat and dog a little and visited with the honey; now I'm alone in my room 😊. I turned the video back on and started going through my backing and batting off cuts to sort, clean up and organize better. Then it's on to a little FPP block I need to tackle. These fabrics that I'm cleaning up may just be the ticket for that block! Thanks again Wonder Woman ♥️
You’re welcome Frances 😊. I love sorting and cleaning up leftovers. My favorite way is cutting them into 2 1/2” strips. I didn’t show it in the video but I pressed open the left over binding pieces and put them by color in my 2 1/2” scrap bin. Thank you for watching my channel 😍❣️
I keep a "chart" of all my quilting projects. I check off when the cutting is done, when they piercing is done, when the backing is fine, when the quilting is done, binding attached. It helps so much to see it! I have a goal of at least 15 minutes of working on those each day. If I can bump it up to 30 minutes or an hour, I will. It's amazing how much you can finish in 15 minutes a day!! Thanks for this encouraging video. I absolutely love the quilt with the baby Jesus center panel!!
This inspired me so much! 🌿🌸💗😊 I need to add borders to two quilt tops, cut backs for both, make binding for them also.... I'm sure there's more. I better make that list! 😆 🤣 😂
Well done 👍🏻 now you’ve made me feel ashamed of the ones I have in my storage box. 😂 oh well! must get the machine set up and get the timer set! Cheers Marilyn 💐
I’m going to quilt as you go my star blocks and tonight I’m making a special technique binding to join blocks. I saw a new binding out to connect blocks for QAYG and it gave me a headache but I figured it out. It’s cheaper to make because you need so much. I have another quilt that I need a few more blocks I need to make and a baby quilt I’m making for a friend at work. Lol
So my alarm to remind me it’s my personal sewing time just went off and I’m off to my sewing room. I love getting things done. Good luck with your QAYG tonight🍀🤞🏼 Thanks for watching my channel, I appreciate it. 😍❣️
You really are WONDER WOMAN! Wow! All the things you got done! The quilting pattern on the Baby Jesus quilt is gorgeous! Could you do a video on how you determine the way you piece your backing? Thanks! This video was fun to watch!
Getting things done and keeping it real! I have a pile of tops I am working through. Quilting on my domestic, so it takes a bit longer. I had 4 finishes last week before I had to work on something for my guild. Looking forward to getting back to it. So satisfying!
I have a lot of respect for you Jennifer for quilting on your domestic. You truly are a Wonder Woman. I don't have what it takes to quilt on a domestic. I have though but gave it up after I fought with a queen. Yes, you're right, it is very satisfying. I appreciate you watching my channel :)
I’m impressed! Will try your timer today. You do your machine binding differently than I was taught. I see the binding on the FRZoNT & then wrap it to the back. Then I stitch in the ditch on the Front. It catches the binding on the back if I have measured carefully. Thanks for sharing your ideas.❤
I tried your way and was always missing catching the back in a C few spots 🥴🥴🥴 Out of frustration. I went the other way. Thanks for watching my channel Rett😊‼️
Wahoo for you!!! I quilt for a few of my viewers and would love to quilt for you one day. Get those WIP's done! Then you can make more quilts :) :) Thank you for watchign my channel, I appreciate it!
Long time viewer, first time commenting. You got me with the list. ☺️ I'm the kind who adds things I've done that weren't on the list just so I can get the satisfaction of checking them off. On my WIPs list, I write down the next few steps for each entry and check those off as I go. It helps me to see exactly what needs to be done. Just listing the name of the project means I may never get to it because EVERYTHING needs to be done. But I can tackle that one next step easily, and if I'm on a roll, I can work through the next step and the next. I re-write the list every couple of weeks to keep it clean, updated, and easy to read. In fact, I re-wrote the list as I was watching this video. And now it's time to go tackle the next step on one of these projects.
Thank you for commenting, I really appreciate it. Anita is right, and thinks like I do and apparently you now too‼️ Breaking it down a baby steps is the way to go, at least for us.😊 Thanks for being a long time viewer, that just makes my day😊❣️
@@sisterchicksquilting i thought of you yesterday when I finally sewed the hangers on my small quilts to display in my mudroom - - we had had one up since Easter (a bunny with flowers) that definitely needed to make way for pumpkins - - got 3 of them DONE!!!
Let me know when you go in your quilting space Carol and I’ll send in search and rescue after a couple of days.🤣😂🤣. Thank you for watching my videos, I really appreciate it😍❣️
I thank you for the salvage tip. That's a good one to know. The gnome quilt pattern is really cute. I fell in love with the Sea of Stars quilt pattern the moment I saw it. Perhaps for sentimental reasons, my favorite quilt is the 4th of July quilt - the waves are so appropriate for the flags. I love it! Thanks Di, for another instructive and enjoyable video.
You’re welcome, so glad you like the patterns. I adore the 4th quilt. It’s the first time I’ve done those waves, it’s a tricky pattern. Thank you for being a loyal viewer, I appreciate you😊❣️ The Chick 🐥
I love love this video. This has been such an inspirational video and I love watching how excited you were checking off the completed WIPS and the showing us the finish quilts!! The Gnome quilt is so awesome. I need to check to see if the pattern is available.. my best friend loves the gnomes!! ❤❤❤
Wonderful! It's good to hear that my methods helped a fellow quilter :) !!! Glad to hear you got them done! Thank you for watching my channel, I appreciate it !!
Such good time management ideas. But, oh no!!!! I'm not Wonder Woman. Well, I'll keep schlepping through with my plodding ways 🤩. I always like your videos. Thank you for the video 😊👍💕
Thank you for loving it Debbie! 😊 That pattern is one of my favorite Star patterns. Thanks for helping my quiltling channel grow by watching, I appreciate you!!!
I bet you go in for the sale. Everything is 20% off. I have a list, ha, ha, ha. THey don't have everythign I need but a lot of good basics. Thaks for watching my channel :)
I just can not wait for your retreat Miss Di! So many questions…😉 Your long arm table with the cutting mats on the back side…what a genius idea! Wondering if the engineer cut them down a bit to lay flat. I just love that. Told hubby he has a project this weekend for sure! 😝 That little gnome topper is soooo cute. Love love love the quilt designs you chose. Have a marvelous weekend and thanks for always showing us something new. 🤗🤗
Dear Miss Debbie, Those are the OLFA cutting mat set that clamp together for a giant hugio triple mat. They just happened to fit. The are in origional condition, now cutting to fit. I do love having them. O will trim customers quilts if they want them trimmed. It's so easy with that big 12ft table. They are over 10 years old, I'm looking for a replacement as I don't know if I want to spend that much again, even whoelsale. You're welcome, glad you enjoyed the video and thank you for supporting my channel!!!
My WIP list grows and changes constantly! Sometimes, I'm sure I have ADD. I'm going to try your timer. Already have the list written down. Thank you for your example.
Trust me I have ADD and if you aren't sure get tested because it's a life changing experience to know exactly what your strengths and weaknesses are so you can find ways to live your best life. ADD is on the AUTISM spectrum. There are 7 types of ADD or ADHD. Go see a channel by Dr Daniel Amen. It might just help. Flippant comments about if you might have ADD are somewhat less kind to those of us with the daily struggle of being wired differently to others.
Hi Susanne, mine does the same, constantly changes. I do have ADD, and that is how I’m able to get things done is with the timer on my phone. But I also film with my phone so The Engineer had to go buy me a kitchen timer for the video.🤣😂 ADD, is a struggle, in glad there’s so many helps these days. Thank you for watching my channel, I really appreciate it😊❣️
WOW, 86😳‼️ I give up, you win the prize for the most🤣😂🤣‼️ Do you quilt them all on your domestic? That is a lot of work Margaret. Do you need a friend with a longarm. After I quilted a queen on my domestic I went straight to the longarm and I love mine💕🥰 thank you for watching my channel, I really appreciate it😊.
Hello Di, great video. I have that same bag you’re going to use for fabric shopping:) I’m a visual person and I think this method may work better than the task or reminders or calendar on my phone. I think putting a timer is a good idea because I could sit for awhile and then I get up with sore legs and shoulders lol.
Thank you Marcella! I’m visual also and the timer is perfect for me. I purposely don’t have a iron next to my machine for that reason. Thank you for watching my channel, I appreciate it. Di
I’m so glad that you shared this WIP video, I remember the log cabin panel, and the Christmas panel. I like the idea about the salvage, I think it’s a time saver. I heard of the timer from another quilter and never tried it before. You have inspired me to tackle some of mine, though some of the WIPs have been around for a long long time. The Engineer must have a great sense of humor because he always has me laughing. I have you guys have a great weekend. Thanks for the tips.
Oh MY Gosh!!! I just watched the finsihed video after yours and several other comments. The Engineer really roasted me this time, LOL! I'm glad that my video inspired you to work on a few WIPS. It feels so good to get them finsihed! Now I have to get granpas pillow one this week, that will be a cause for a big celebration!!! You and your husband have a great week too. SEnding you both some Idaho love, The Chick and The Engineer!
A list is an amazing tool Connie, I get so excited to get a check mark, LOL! . Here in Idaho they say "Git er' done!" And I'm passing that on to you :) Thank you for watching my channel!!!
I started mine but I don’t have a cute list sheet like you do, I found a lined journal in my sewing room that I can use and it has a wire spine so it lays flat and can stay open.
I love seeing all of your projects! My goodness aren't you a busy bee! 😘😘 Thank you so much for showing us!
Thanks Christen, it’s been a week. Wishing your shoulder gets stronger faster 😍‼️
Have now watched this video at least 4 times when I lack motivation I watch this and get my list done

Loved the video of you & the engineer building "quilt ladder" enjoyed hearing the rooster crow! P.S. WIP list is an excellent idea.
Thank you, Yvonne, it’s time to make and execute another whip list🤣❤️🐥
Very helpful! A great way to end the year so that next year is fresh and brand new projects can get started with no guilt!

I love, love, love your sense of humor! This video inspires me to get up and get going!
And I love, love, love your comment 😍. Thanks for watching my channel, I appreciate it.
Snipping the selvedges for the backing is a helpful suggestion
Glad you liked it Roxanna :) Thank you for watching my channel!!
Thank you for the motivation and for watching my channel too😍❣️
Always love you finishing projects 🎉
Way to go getting unfinished projects done. I have three quilt tops that had to get finished and made a promise to myself, get them done before starting something new. Well two done, working on my last one. Thanks for sharing your hurtles. 👍❤️😊
Thanks Carmen, I appreciate it! And thank you for watching my channel! You go for it and get your WIP's done, it feels so good. :) :)
It’s easy to get overwhelmed with so many WIPs but your list breaks them up into workable and attainable goals. Thanks for the motivation. 😊
You’re welcome Marsha and thank you for watching my videos 😊‼️
LOVE the hint about snipping selvege rather than trimming. Thanks
You’re welcome 😊 Thank you for watching my channel ❣️
Wow! So simple ideas - but so do-able.

Great video, Di! So inspiring. I wish you the best in finishing your entire WIP list! I know you will do it!
Hey Marti, thanks for chiming in 😊. I finished a piece today but my fave from my list is the personal sewing time, I’m loving that 😍❣️Thanks for watching my channel👍🏼‼️

You’re so very welcome Chris ❣️ Thank you for chiming in and telling me. I appreciate it and appreciate you watching my channel 😍❣️
The best part of a list is crossing things off. Thanks for the motivation to tackle some of my WIPs. Wish me luck:)
Our great minds think alike on this 🧐. Good luck with your list, you’ve got this Becky👍🏼😊❣️
You are an inspiration! Making my list today. Love the backing on the woven quilt!

There’s a link to the Gnome Quilt directions in the description under the video. It was a good time finishing the pile. Thank you for watching😊🐥❣️
And to never be there again i try not to start anything new except a BOM until my current is on the longarm..did i say “try” lol ok i have 2 going right now…💚💚💚
They say the economy slowed down but they were not counting the quilting industry in the last 2 years. Wonderful productivity for you 👍
@@AnitaSouthall and as quilters with a stash (i had a roll of batting too) we have trained for this havent we?
Only 5?😂 the the runner is a fun game for me that’s how I can focus.
🇦🇺💜🇨🇦💚😊👍🖐
I love your comment Cheryl! I’m easily sidetracked to and got a big laugh over you writing a list after the project. I’ve Also done it before, so I could get a checkmark✔️😂🤣😂 I love those Canadian hugs😍🇨🇦🤗, sending you back Idaho hugs🥔🇺🇸🤗

Just finished a Grandmothers Flower Garden quilt which had been hanging around for years- what a weight off! I find it is out of sight out of mind- always have two WIPs out so that they remind me they are waiting....
That’s a good idea. When we touch them away they we do forget about them. Thanks for a watching my videos😊‼️
I had a large tote filled with quilt tops that needed to be quilted. The pandemic hit and I decided to take them to my longarmer a couple at a time. A few months later they were all quilted and bound. It was such a great feeling to have them all completed and ready to use. Loved this video lots of good advice.

Thank you 😊, I ♥️ your comment 😊
Baby 👶 steps are what I can do too
Thank you for commenting, I really appreciate it. Anita is right, and thinks like I do and apparently you now too‼️ Breaking it down a baby steps is the way to go, at least for us.😊

Thank you for watching my channel, I really appreciate it😊❣️
I need to try this. I have 86 WIPs at present. Mostly completed quilt tops (from pattern testing), but I need to sandwich and quilt them.
WOW, 86😳‼️ I give up, you win the prize for the most🤣😂🤣‼️ Do you quilt them all on your domestic? That is a lot of work Margaret. Do you need a friend with a longarm. After I quilted a queen on my domestic I went straight to the longarm and I love mine💕🥰
thank you for watching my channel, I really appreciate it😊.
