I picked up my 2022 Hyunday Tucson SEL AWD yesterday. It has 23 miles on it. This is an amazing, high tech, solidly built vehicle. That I got 2.24% financing for 60 months was even better. I suppose credit score of 882 helped!!!
Thanks Joe this what consumers exactly need, sweet spot level trim as you said, thank you showing us the trim most people actually can afford and go for, almost all other car reviewers just directly go for the most expensive trim, you're the best Joe, greetings from canada...
I just got this car a couple of weeks ago. Love it my first SUV, had 2012 Lexus ES350 and thought I would have a hard time with the adjustment but I had no problem. Going from 6 cylinder to 4, don’t really notice a big difference.
My dad just bought one of these and I drove us all on a long road trip with it. Excellent vehicle, loved the lane keep assist, the cruise control that automatically slows down if a vehicle is in front and the side collision detection. The awd is great too in Minnesota snow! I'd highly recommend this to anyone. These new Hyundais are not what they used to be. I bought his old car, his 2016 sonata and I love that too. Go Hyundai! Great vehicles for the price.
Yesterday, I went to test drive the Tucson and ended up leasing it. It was the SEL with the Premium package, so it has ventilated seats, leather seats, the BOSE audio system, and a power lift gate. I wanted the Limited trim, but this has everything I need for much lower. The design is even better in person. I think I’m the first person in the US to lease the new Tucson though. Hyundai didn’t have the system setup for leasing, so they had to fix that before they sent it to my dealership. It took an extra three hours, but it was worth it.
How much is your lease if I may? My mom is in the market for a crossover and dealer seems to want us to do a lease like for 300, but mom is old school and likes to keep car like for 10 years.
Many congratulations on reaching 500k subscribers!! Your videos are a real joy to watch and Lori does some amazing work with the camera. Your energy and enthusiasm shines as bright as the Florida sun! Stay safe, drive safe and keep doing what you do.
Just bought this in SEL trim and compared to the Kia Sorento I traded in this is faster, smoother, quieter at highway speeds...also more nimble and more fun to drive.
You know what took me a while to realize Joe?......THAT NOT ONLY ARE THERE TRIM LEVELS BUT EVEN DUE TO PACKAGES THE SAME TRIM COULD LOOK DIFFERENT!!!! GEEESSHHHH! How much more can they confuse us! You have to literally watch Raiti's Rides before you buy any vehicle just to get exactly what you want or you find out prefer! Thanks, for your work!
You know joking aside, that is a good reason to get leather. Cloth is going to hold onto all the Florida pollen and dead skin cells and what not, not as easy to clean as leather and soaks up any red Gatorade spills.
500,000! 😳😘😘😘🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳500K Thank you for inviting me to the black tie event to celebrate! This Hyundai is gorgeous! I love it & it’s an SUV SEL. Hyundai/ KIA IS KILLING IT.
I believe there is a SEL Premium which eliminates the cheesy gauges and gives you leather seats back. Save money with no pano sunroof, no button shifter, no 360 camera, and no front park sensors and 8" vs 10" infotainment.
I ended up getting the Limited. Same color as the other review, too. I saw it and I was in love. My original plan was to get another Mini Countryman, but unless you go well over 40K, the technology and safety features were stuck in the 90's. I sacrificed a little bit of power (actually close but the added weight makes the Tucson a bit slower) but I felt like I actually got a modern car. The button shifter is the only thing I'm not too fond of. I'll probably get used to it though. I live in Colorado so the Sunroof makes views a bit more beautiful... for my passengers lol!
I got this one a few days ago and love it! It drives beautifully light and with power. I had the 21 Tucson and there are quite some differences in driving quality and the number of safety features. The sound is also much better and there is enough space to be comfortable, even in the back.
I love this trim better than the limited. Especially the buttons on the infotainment unit. Very classy! Also at $27k, one of the best deals for a brand new midsize suv. I’ll buy it in 2 years when it’s a little cheaper. lol
Thanks for showing us this trim level. It's a huge difference from the limited trim. I'm not sure how I feel about this one now. Maybe with added packages it'd be a better fit. I'm looking for a panoramic sunroof though.
Those roofs leak in time from flexing of the vehicle going over railroad crossing& speed bumps & potholes ! You having a big strong part of the structure cut out of a vehicle & one of my main concern is rollover with any glass top
I purchased my 2022 Tucson SEL on Memorial Day. I have all the bells and whistles you could think of, including a power trunk. I absolutely love it. Lastly, my interior is slightly different than this model.
Curious what rebates you got? Right now at least where I live, 2022 tucson inventory is very low, and the most I could find was $500 off plus a $400 off recent grad offer. My girlfriend is considering one, but $900 is a far cry from the $4000 I got off my brand new (at the time) 2019 santa fe.
I bought the AWD trim package in silver with leather and panoramic sunroof, love it. My only complaint is that there is no way to open the hatch from inside the car or on the key fob. An odd omission in my opinion. The floor in the cargo area is slightly angled which makes my cargo slide forward, so I will probably buy a cargo mat to address this. I live in Canada so our trim levels are slightly different and are built in Korea. This is my first Hyundai (previous car was a Ford Edge) and so far very impressed 👍.
I had two Ford edges in titanium trims as well as an escape. (Company vehicle leases) I just bought the 2022Tucson in SEL with convenience package and so far it’s far quieter than the Edge. I drove the RAV4 and the noise level was unbearable.
@@howardsaffer607 that’s one thing I noticed when I went from my ‘10 RDX to a ‘19 santa fe. The Hyundai is sooo much quieter inside despite the acura being a “luxury” vehicle. More comfortable suspension too. Hyundai has been killing it over the past few years

12:00 Just a note about the seats. The Higher level of the SEL Trim has leather seats which are much more comfortable and not at all "Sandpapery"
Raiti is saying that THIS is the SEL on this review....? And it has the sandpaper seating.
