- A brief tutorial on how to use the ALiVE mod or Simplex Support Services Mod to transport your players in the field.
You'll need:
Community Based Addons:

Simplex Support Services (Requires ACE):

If you don't want to use ACE because of the medical stuff, use ACE buy EXTREMELY Based:

That's what I use when I want to cool features of ACE without the medical stuff.

After 5 hours of asking why my heli isnt working well watching your videos it turns out it was because it was a modded heli, as soon as I changed it started working, feel like an idiot but now I can put the 5 hours worth of watching your videos into practice, thanks man I apricate your time and effort towards helping the community.
Yeah man, Arma is a strange beast. What should work often doesn't, what you think won't work does. Changing a vehicle you'd think wouldn't matter, but it does, but only sometimes. :D
I left a comment on helo tutorial a while back regards getting a loitering helo to perform an extraction, I think you said it was`nt do-able, but there was a sort of an (unsatisfactory) work around. I`ve had ALIVE for a long time but never knew I could do this until now, the smoke confirmation on pick up is a really nice touch. Cheers.

Excellent video as always, never knew the power and capabilities of the Simplex Support Services. Combined with the modified ACE mod. A lot of additional flexibility. And you can't beat the setup with either option for sure. Thanks for sharing.

Gonna have to try out that simplex mod. I have a mission with a helo extraction at the end using triggers that works, but this looks way easier.

@@OnlineCombatBN is it possible to reveal a new spawn point on the map after taking over a base or locating an "abandon building" on the map that you set as a mini FOB?
Great Tutorial on the Alive Mod, but if you have a night OP do you also use Smoke and not a IR light?

Is there any good mods for trench lines
Search the workshop for trench compositions. There's plenty.
I have been grouping my transports. when i use helicopters, all but 1 will start their engines upon spawning and then hover. I want them all to stay grounded until ready to use. any idea how to make this happen?
anyone?
Just an idea. Remove all waypoints for the one that isn't working and replace them with new ones.
@@OnlineCombatBN I was hoping that there may some magical coding i can try to assign that forces them out of formation. I feel like that would work. Do you have anything like that you could offer?
