Hydrogen doesn't stack up. It 95% of current Hydrogen comes from fossil fuels. Trying to make green hydrogen means breaking H20 molecules takes massive amounts of energy. Storing/transferring it is problematic. Hydrogen embrittlement makes the tanks leak/fail. Burning it isn't emission free as it produces nitrogen oxides which themselves are dangerous.

Funny story, I worked at Toyota. Right around LFA days, Toyota came to workers for ideas. I said you make cars to go shopping and play bowls. Where'd the Supra go? Yeah, I'm Aussie, Japanese doesn't translate sarcasm. Needless to say, someone worked it out. Toyota listens, Toyota learns. Toyota survives. Toyota left Australia long ago, I have no affiliation with Toyota.

Tons of people. Have you seen how much they cost? Even the used ones are expensive.

If Toyota advocates for the best way to battle emissions they will surely insist that busses, bicycles and electric bicycles are a part of the solution, right?
Oh wait. they're just saying that we should not change anything and wait for a miracle to happen while we buy their cars at roughly double the price every 5 years

You're the type that feels better than others because you actively "DO SOMETHING" about the problem. It doesn't matter to you that what you advocate for not only makes millions of people more poor; but also DOESN'T mitigate the planet's temperature by even one hundredth of a degree C.
Buy hey, at least you "try".
