Drivers side integra axle bad?

  • This is me tugging on the driver side axle of my 2000 Integra Type R. It has started clicking when I turn left so I'm trying to figure out what's going on. There is some small play when I tug on this axle so I'm wondering if it's normal?
    Update: This is a normal amount of play, but I think I found the culprit and it's a bad wheel bearing. Here's the accompanying thread on honda-tech: honda-tech.com/...

    thanks man, yeah I know, this was meant to be accompanied by my post on honda-tech. The passenger side one is very solid so I didn't need to post a video. I figured it was possible that this was why.
    I'm 99% sure I've got this figured out - it was a rear wheel bearing. I'll know for sure once I get the hub from HPD and put it in.

    mine clicks too on my 96 integra when im making a left turn, and a right turn but sound only comes from the passenger side. i have a new drivers side axle and im going to do the passengers side this weekend...246K on it. your saying its bearings? the sound comes from the front of the car. so far everyones told me its the cv joint clicking and its about to go. any help would be appreciated. thanks!

    Sorry not sure why I didn't see this comment yet but yeah it could definitely be bearings. Did you get this fixed yet?
